Affordability meets luxury in the new, in-town, king bed, Amore Loft Suite just steps to the restaurants, bars, dive shops and shopping of Cruz Bay located on the upper level of the Amore Center. Perfect for a couple or single needing a simple, elegant, affordable room or as an addtion for a 2nd couple or teens when renting the larger, Amore Loft Apartment right next door or the new Amore Loft Studio.

Stroll to steps to the left for breakfast at Tamarind Court or breakfast or lunch at Baked in the Sun; grocery shop on the corner at Dolphin Market, enjoy fine dining at La Tapa or happy hour at Woody's, all a stone's throw away. Taxi to the beach or ask us about rental vehicles which we also have available on site. Or hike one mile on a National Park trail to the world class Honeymoon & Salomon Beaches otherwise accessible only by boat.

Artistically decorated with ceramic sconces made in our Studio below, Italian plastered walls & colorfully decorated with artwork from travels around the world, this is the perfect spot for a quick weekend get-away or an affordable extended winter retreat! All the luxury of one of our finest villas in an economical, yet stylish, in-town location.

You will find all the basic necessities needed to make your vacation complete including air conditioning thru out, ceiling fans and a full size refrigerator. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your day at the beach are also provided.

Below the Amore Loft Suite & Amore Loft Apartment is our pottery studio, the Donald Schnell Studio, where we can offer you guidance on snorkeling, dining & other island activities if you so require.

Perfect location. It is walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, and beach. Beautiful property. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need. Donald, the host, is absolutely amazing.

AMAZING!! Don is such an incredible host! He will pick you up and drop you off at the ferry. He is warm and kind and makes sure you are comfortable! Can’t say enough great things about Don and this property! It’s the perfect walking distance to everything in Cruz Bay! When we come back, we will stay with Don again!

Honeymoon

Stayed here for 5 days for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Owner are great gave tips on good places to eat and the room was awesome!

Great space, great location

We had a great stay here. The hosts were even anole to hook us with with a car rental, and were very responsive throughout our stay. Blake gave us great local recommendations, and Donald was very kind. We’ll be recommending this space to our friends.

Very kind people who run the place, it was beautiful and exactly as pictured and described. They helped us figure out the car rental and were so sweet to allow us a place to store our bags when our return flight was delayed all while picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry dock when we arrived and departed.

Great location

Don was an excellent and attentive Host. Easy 5 min walk to all restaurants. Rented a car from Don also, very convenient.

Very clean, very comfortable. We felt like we were in the middle Cruz Bay. Walking distance to alot

Friendly host. I felt like we were staying with friends. Very safe and secure accommodations. We recommend and will be back.

Great place

Our stay at Amore Suites was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish everything was perfect!! The place was perfect for my husband and I and was within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The place was extremely clean and it was everything we needed!! We would definitely stay at Amore Suites again! Thanks for the amazing hospitality!!!!

Artists Village Loft Suite

Our stay in this unit was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the property manager, Don, was extremely kind and accommodating. I will stay there again next time I am on the island.

Amore Loft Suite in St. Thomas

Excellent place to stay. Large, very well furnished and equipped unit. Donald is an excellent host and on the property much of the time. Highly recommend this unit. Within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Lovango Wedding Weekend

My wife and I stayed the weekend for a friends wedding on Lovango. The host, suite, and surroundings were absolutely charming. Perfect location within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, the beach and ferries. Fantastic!

We had an amazing stay on St. John. The room was perfect. Very clean and well kept. We loved all the plants! Good WiFi and good cell signal. The location is great, walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery, ferry etc. The staff was also very friendly. Blake helped get us checked in and she was very kind and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Charming Island Accommodations

An absolutely wonderful stay. Donald was communicative, attentive and immensely kind. The property itself is beautiful and is just a short walk to everything Cruz Bay has to offer. We also rented our Jeep from Donald making our stay that much smoother! We look forward got saying at the Amore Center again soon!

Donald & Deborah have made St. John their home since 1975 and have raised their three children - Abigail, Lucas & Michael - on island. Donald & Deborah combine elements of grand Italian Villas from their trips to Perugia, Italy for the Umbria Jazz Festival (the Director & his large family are yearly visitors to Artistic Villas) with traditional, island Caribbean Villas for a uniquely perfect vacation experience. Donald's Studio creates ceramic lighting and offers lighting, design & decorating consultation to all the finest resorts in the Caribbean, and he brings all these elements to their Villas. Originally from Michigan, Donald attended graduate school at the University of Chicago where Deborah was a pediatric nurse.
