A very clean and attractive place. Everything we needed was available, and it all worked!So sad we couldn’t use the pool because of the weather. Perfect in every way!

Cozy Beach House

Came to town to visit family. This adorable house was a perfect retreat. Close to the beach and lots of good restaurant options. Will definitely stay again.

The house was lovely and cozy. Clean and updated as well. The neighborhood was close to the beach and lots of great local shops. The host was great with communication. Highly recommend! Stayed for a work expo in Jacksonville and was very happy with this house and what it had to offer.

Great for the Family

House is gorgeous and Justin is a great host! We had all we needed for an excellent stay. There is a noise ordinance (after 10pm) which we were totally fine with! We really needed the break and are grateful to have found such a lovely place.

Fun in the sun

We enjoyed our time at Seaside Escape very much. The house is comfortable, clean and well stocked with necessities. The pool area is great and quiet. The ping pong table in the garage was a big hit too! It’s close to everything in the beaches

Great location and great place!

Enjoyed our trip. The house had it all. Good location, plenty of space and updated nicely. The back yard with the pool was a great place to sit and chill. Owner/management was easy to get a hold of and was very responsive. The garage ping pong table was a plus. We’d stay here again!

This house was perfect suiting all our needs! We all felt very comfortable, cooking there and having several meals helped keep cost down.The kids and the adults loved playing ping pong for hours. We even went out and bought new paddles to take home. I’m sure my son will be buying their own table! I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed Monday through Sunday. The best feature of this home is the location—it's only about a 5-minute walk to the beach (after crossing the busy main road), with plenty of public beach access nearby. The home itself is spacious, the A/C works well, there are ceiling fans in every room, comfortable mattress options, and the air-conditioned garage with the ping pong table and full-size washer/dryer was a nice bonus.Unfortunately, we felt the home wasn't as well maintained as expected for the price. The pool hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, and the grill was extremely dirty and rusty, looking much more worn than the listing photos. Justin with the management team was very responsive and had the pool cleaned within an hour after we reached out, which we appreciated. They also offered to repair a loose backyard light fixture during our stay.Other issues included flickering kitchen lights, a brown smear on the primary bedroom wall, sand/debris under the primary bathroom vanity, and noticeable hard water buildup on the faucets. We also wish there had been an outdoor hose to rinse off sand after the beach, and the pool floats/equipment were in poor condition (we ended up buying new ones)Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the responsive management, but for the price, we expected a cleaner, better-maintained property. Compared with other nearby rentals offering more amenities, this one felt overpriced.

Beach Vacay

We had a wonderful time at JAX beach! Justin the host was great and always quickly responded leading up to the trip and checking in during our stay. A bit of a walk to beach and getting across 1A but we learned day 3 it’s free public parking so we drove. The 10th Ave parking has ramp to beach to wheel cooler over which was easy. Enjoyed the pool. 11 south bistro was our fancy dinner the last night and was awesome!

Great place and location

My two best friends and I, the three of us retired US Marines, decided to visit the Jacksonville area for our annual golf trip, and this house could have not been any better: the location, the place itself, golf courses nearby, proximity to the beach, restaurants close to us, and much more. The house itself was perfect, each one of us with our own bedroom, plenty of room to relax, cook, and to have breakfast al fresco on the back patio by the pool, which we enjoyed as well. We would absolutely consider coming back to the area and renting the same house. The host, Justin L., was also super nice and on top of things, following up and checking that everything went well. The checking and checkout processes were smooth and painless. Thank you, Justin.

The pool was dirty. We cleaned and cleaned and finally the third day we enjoyed. It needs a good scrubbing and vaccum for all the foliage that falls in. The linens are old and worn, my retired dog towels are thicker. Lovely little house, kitchen well stocked, and was comfortable. Needs grab bars in baths and railings down steps. Not any shade on pool deck. I don't need to be setting up umbrellas. Over priced for the linens and pool condition alone. The neighbor is a bully, no noise after 10pm. Two of us were chatting outside and at 9:30 pm he started yelling at us. We humbly apologized and went inside but was humiliated and angry. Just kinda leaves a bad taste. No, I will not rent again, as it is a disappointment from other homes i have rented. By the way our age range is 73,74, and 75, non drinkers.

Nice house close to beach

The house is nicely furnished and comfortable with a large pool and an air conditioned garage with ping pong table. Three bedrooms and two baths that are spaced apart for privacy. Well stocked modern kitchen with nice appliances and ample seating. Only 3/10 mile walk to the beach access boardwalk and many dining options nearby.
