The community pool is just steps away, inviting you to take a refreshing dip. Stay connected with high-speed WiFi throughout your stay, and enjoy cozy evenings by the wood-burning fireplace, available from mid-September to the end of April.

This family-friendly haven includes a high chair and pack-n-play for your little ones, as well as a selection of books and games to keep everyone entertained. After a day on the beach, the outside shower provides a convenient way to rinse off, and you can fire up the electric grill for a delightful BBQ against the backdrop of stunning ocean views.

The home was everything we expected! Clean, comfortable, great location and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed everything about this home and look forward to coming back again!

Great location and accommodations. The unit had everything we needed and more!

The ease of the keyless entry system was great! No worrying about who had the key! Also nice to have linens and towels provided. The house was cute and very well equipped. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Not one place was there a picture or detail of the 20 stairs that had to be climbed to get to the top level (kitchen/LR area). The add photo would not allow me to add the photo of the staircase to share with others.

September 2018 Stay

Had a great week with great weather. Enjoyed the deck and pool. Loved being oceanfront. Only complaint is the queen bed in the master needs replaced it is very uncomfortable and lumpy.

While we understand everyone has a different level of comfort when it comes to bedding, we do hope it was not to much of an inconvenience during your stay. We appreciate your helpful feedback, and we are happy to announce since reading your review the owner agreed the Master bedroom mattress does need replaced and they have gone ahead and already replaced it! August 2017 Stay

Hello, sadly we are on our way home from the heavenly OBX. We've been coming to this area every other year for 22 years and we really love it there. This year on our arrival our home was not cleaned to to our satisfaction. We found the kitchen floor filthy, we stuck to it when we walked on it, food on the cupboards, and behind the garbage can. The handle on the first floor powder room is falling off, and 2 spots on the living ceiling we're loosing plaster. There were black fingerprints on the railings to the livingroom. We cleaned those off with a Clorox wipe. I would be do nice to find the homes as clean as we leave them. We love renting from Village Realty!! We just like clean homes.

July 2017 Stay

We've stayed in Whispering Sands via Village Realty for about 12 years. The property is perfect but VR isn't what it was when we started with them in 2003. As prices increase, service decreases. Property not ready on time, lacked linens and towels. VR refunded us $75 but we would have preferred getting in on time. People at VR are very nice, but the focus seems to be on eking out more money from a renter and less on valuing the repeat customer. Still plan on renting again next year because WS is that great!

Amazing!!!

This was such a wonderful place for my family to enjoy our vacation. The house is very clean. Love the location. We were close to everything. The view of the ocean is amazing. My kids are begging us to book again for next year!!!
