The Historic Edward Menchey House in Gettysburg, PA. Downtown attractions and restaurants are within easy walking distance.
You will be staying on the first floor with a large bedroom and a queen bed, family room, kitchen, bathroom, and washer and dryer. The outside patio has chairs and a grill available.
Free wifi, cable, and parking space in the rear of the building.

The whole first floor.

No smoking or vaping allowed this is a historic home.
No children under 12 yrs old.
Small safe in the laundry room for storing valuables.

Great place to stay. Within walking distance of restaurants, tours and shops. Home was clean. Host was helpful and informative. Enjoyed my stay.

Great location; walkable to restaurants and close to battlefield. One level, great for our senior dogs although there is one step down to living room from kitchen and bathroom. They adjusted quickly. Nice outdoor area in back. Enjoyed our 2 night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your quaint home! It was simple to get to, park, and enter the property. The location was EXCELLENT and within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, ice cream, shopping and a dog park was close by for dog owners. Within the home there is wonderful history memorabilia and period decorations. There was also a small fenced in area to take pets out that we weren’t expecting which was very helpful. The property is so close to the Gettysburg National museum and battlefields… it made things so simple! I love Gettysburg and was thrilled to share my love for the area and history with my husband with whom it was his first trip. The owners go out of their way to make sure that you have all of the comforts of home and necessities. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Small but nice place. It was immaculately clean. Everything worked. Host was hopeful with any anything I needed. I would definitely rent there again without a doubt. Also, it's in the heart of Gettysburg. You're only like two blocks, two or three blocks to the main Street and not far from the battlefield. Maybe a mile?

Ideal location for your Gettysburg experience

This property is perfectly located for easy access to shopping, attractions and restaurants. The host is very accommodating. The house was very clean and provided all necessities. Perfect for couples.

What a great place to stay. The apartment is very comfortable, very easy and plenty of space to spread out in! Parking outside the front door was easy for us at all times, and Gettysburg is an easy walk from the property. Jake is a great host, provided useful tips, always responsive, and the historical authentic touches he has made to the property enhance the whole “Gettysburg Experience”

Wonderful stay - great location!

We stayed two days. The majority of the time was spent in the battlefield. Could have definitely stayed a third day! Safe neighborhood with a lot of restaurants. Only downside is a lot of them are closed Tuesday. Great kitchen for cooking though. Everything is as pictured on the property. The tall bed is comfortable. There was a bonus fenced in area in the rear. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. They had plenty of toiletries and dishes for two. This place is within walking distance of a ton! House in great condition and all appliances were in working order. There was even a reserved parking spot in the rear and a parking pass for parking in the front. Would definitely stay again!
