Perfect spot for walking to the aquarium and beach. Wonderful stay. Great hosts. Will book again when I come back to Monterey.

This s a cozy studio style ADU w/a loft . It is very close to downtown Pacific Groove and all its nice little shops! a short walk downhill takes you to several restaurants and what was out fav spot: Captain and Stoker.It’s a very central spot with easy access Carmel and Monterey, sightsee along the famous 17 Mile Drive . Host provided us with several recommendations and they were top notch! They also made the check in and check out a very quick and easy process, clear instruction provided .

Nice quaint place, owner was very helpful and courteous. If you are wanting a comfortable place to stay in the peninsula area thats affordable i highly recommend here.5 Stars across the board.

Janna's place suited my needs as a single guest attending a painting workshop. The location was perfect being easy walking distance to restaurants, and a short drive to the ocean. The studio is spacious and clean, with basic amenities. Nothing fancy, but the full size refrigerator and television were super to have. Janna was quick to respond to a simple question that I had. Because I was alone, it was actually nice to know that there was a family on the property.

The studio is spacious and has a fantastic location. Walking distance to shops, beach, grocery, coffee shops etc… the space was clean, has a full size fridge, microwave and dishes. There’s no stove/oven, but we didn’t need it for our stay. We also got a very sweet welcome basket with snacks from the host.

Nice location. A short walk took us to downtown Pacific Grove. Could easily walk to the beach if so desired. Nice and cozy spot was perfect for our desire to chill away from home.

Way closer to lovers beach than I realized. Such a perfect property for pups too. We absolutely loved walking around the neighborhood and the short walk to the beach. They even gave us local made chocolates on check in, what a sweet welcome. The perfect spot!

Good place. Great location. Coffee filters were wrong type but we made em work. Photos were a little misleading, talking about the unfinished section in back of the fridge. Might wanna ditch the confederate flag. Bonus for the drum kit though! Decent place for a couple of days.

Dont know if I will keep using as a single family or or duplex in future. So right now that is a unfinish corner. No confederate flags. There used to be an Aussie flag

Comfortable stay for our family of four. Our teens enjoyed the basketball and hoop and Velcro dart game. Bed was comfortable and furnished with good sheets and blankets. Centrally located with lots of great spots within walking distance. Host was very communicative and prompt with responses. Overall a great experience.
Breakfast on the patio.

This little place is in a great location with being able to walk to shops and the beach. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. It is very family friendly and cozy as you could hear children laughing and playing outside. Such nice sounds in a tech crazy world. There was a bit of dog hair and dust bunnies to deal with, but nothing to extreme especially knowing it is a pet friendly rental. A quick call to the host took care of the problem. We enjoyed our stay there.

It was a roof over our head, with beds and a bathroom.Surrounding Area was nice.Wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Came with a lot of spiders.The key for the place was to a sliding glass door which was a pain to get locked and unlocked.Feels a little like things were just kind of thrown in there with what they had. There a queen, full, and twin bed.Place is not soundproof at all and you can hear the adjoining place as well as the neighborhood very well.Price probably pertains to the area but I wouldn’t say I would want to pay that again for the place.Overall it worked for a place to stay but wasn’t anything special.

Thank you the feedback. This is an accurate description. I do try to keep cobwebs down but they come back. This is humble home. No interior decrator or anything fancy. Pacific Grove coast line a very special ocean sancuarty. Thats where the beauty is. Good news is if your kids make a dent in the wall or or dog pees on something, your not the first! My kids and animals have probably already done it.

The property was dog-friendly, which was great for our little pup, but it didn’t have an ocean view. Unfortunately, we had a long list of issues that left us disappointed with this VRBO stay. To start, there was old, disgusting food left in the freezer. The townhouse badly needed a thorough cleaning, especially under and around the bed, and there were cobwebs on various items both inside and outside. The bed was made up of several thin, mismatched mattresses that kept sliding apart and were extremely uncomfortable. Worst of all, the lock on the sliding glass door was malfunctioning, leaving my wife and me locked out for half an hour while I "jimmied" the lock with the key. Our vacation to Pacific Grove was a disaster. We left two days early.

It is a roomy little place. Very clean, with plenty of everything as far as toiletries, pillows, blankets and basic kitchen utensils, a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. And The beds were comfortable. The location is great, we walked to the beach and around town from the apartment. The apartment is attached to the main house and it wasn't awkward or weird in the least. We never felt bothered or uncomfortable. They also gave us the entire driveway even though we kept to our spot. It's in a nice neighborhood where everything is easy to get to. We didn't have any extra concerns or requests but I did message Jenny the host while we were there and she responded quickly to answer my questions.

Communication with the host was timely and friendly. Clean unit, everything was as described. For some reason I expected a stove or kitchenette, but there is only a microwave, so watch out for that if you're planning on cooking. Good stay overall.
