This updated flat is just a splash away from Lover’s Point Beach and the Coastal Recreational Trail. Part of a multi-unit Victorian, the “A” unit is completely private. Enter the ocean view living room through a glass-enclosed, vine-covered porch and relax on the loveseat in front of a huge flat screen TV. There’s a dining table for two and a compact kitchen with a four burner gas range, refrigerator,  microwave, and a stainless steel topped island (no dishwasher).   The bedroom has a platform bed and a second TV, and the spacious bath has a tub/shower. There’s a shared, credit card-operated washer/dryer in the garage. Street parking only.   Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0462asdf

Great location, awesome host!

Close proximity to Lovers Point, downtown Pacific Grove, and Monterey. Street parking was not an issue. Host was communicative without being overbearing. Would stay again.

Property was in an ideal location, walking distance from Pacific Grove Beach and Lovers Point. The area was quiet and quaint. Older character home, with comfortable bed, good parking.

A great stay if you want access to a kitchen and walking distance to the rec trail and downtown PG. The cost and amenities are comparable to the midrange hotels in the area. Great for couples - we would stay again.

The cottage was absolutely wonderful as far as location and access to the beach. We could’ve used an additional fan for the front room and the couch was really very uncomfortable. It was very firm and small in depth to sit on that is the only courtesy we have otherwise it was perfect and we look forward to staying there again so please try and get a new couch.

We loved everything about this cute little place. We found it comfortable and it supplied our basic needs during our stay. And the location can't be beat! We would return to the Fountain Avenue apartment if/when we return to Pacific Grove.

A Quiet Retreat

For a couple who wants to beat the heat of Sacramento for a few days, the Fountain Avenue apartment can’t be beat. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked property but best of all was the fantastic location a block from Lover’s Point. My only suggestion is that a new couch is in order for the living room.

Property manager assisted us in accessing unit an hour early as it was ready which was very appreciated. The location cannot be beat: we walked everywhere!

Great location just steps from Lover's Beach and short walk to main street with restaurants, shops and galleries.Accommodation is basic, but functional. Kitchen is adequate but not for much more than simple meal prep Plenty of on street parking.

Awesome experience here! Close to everything—Pacific Grove is a great little town for walking, dining, and shopping and this apartment allows walking to everything. It’s right next to the bayfront walkway, which has spectacular water views. The apartment itself is extremely spacious with a large bathroom and full kitchen equipped with all we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of closet space. Some sound from tenants above walking at times but other than that, perfectly quiet and in a lovely neighborhood. A couple of minutes by car to all Monterey attractions as well. We would absolutely stay again!

Wonderful location and great small vacation home for two, very clean & the bed was so comfortable! Unfortunately the sofa described as well as pictured in the listing has been replaced with the a loveseat that we were unable to sit in, it sits mere inches off the ground with no padding, really awful. The host contact never responded to texts or phone messages, finally able to contact property manager after hours who sent someone to install risers to lift the sofa up a few inches…. We made do, and other that that it was a really nice place!

Pacific Grove is Gorgeous!

The property is as described in this VRBO listing. The property location is very residential and amazing. A short walk both to the beach and to downtown with lots of restaurant choices. We were very happy with our stay on Fountain Ave!
