Truly an amazing experience staying here! Such a peaceful part of St. John with the best access to snorkeling off the private beach and close to Hansen Bay. The views from the house were stunning and serene. If we ever have the opportunity to travel back to the island this is exactly where we’d want to stay! Appreciated the beach chairs, towels and coolers that were available for our use for beach hopping.

What a great review of the East End! We love our quiet end of paradise and the very local beaches, Coral Bay side restaurants, and wild natural setting. And yet, as you sayquick access to all the best beaches on earth. See you next time!

Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation! Pool was a great bonus & the views were unbelievable! Definitely off the beaten path…if you’re looking for a laid back, quiet place to stay, this is it!

Long Bay is at the end of the edge of the quiet and peacefulness of St. John, for sure. With great views!

Perfect home base for exploring the east side of St. John. The house is airy and spacious, with extensive shaded porches and balconies and a beautiful view of the sea and surrounding dry forested hills. It was wonderful to sit on the upper balcony in the morning and hear. . .nothing. No voices, no vehicles, no sounds of human activity. Most days (late June/early July), we had the beach entirely to ourselves. We explored many snorkeling spots, and the rocky reef near the house was as good as any.

Beautiful Vacation Spot

This was our second stay here, and it was just as wonderful as last time. Gorgeous views, comfortable rooms, and inviting outdoor space. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

The home was nice and met our needs well. We enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck and swimming in the pool. Everything worked well, until the extended power outage anyway! It was quiet with a nice view. Good communication with the host and property manager.

Amazing Stay

We were looking for a private and romantic place to stay for our honeymoon, and Long Bay Getaway was absolutely perfect! We were there during deep off-season and the host was great about letting us know ahead of time that some things on the island may be closed or have reduced hours. He was great about letting us know what to expect from staying somewhere so remote this time of year. We absolutely loved everything about our stay!!

Magical spot—the pool and the view can’t be beat. A bit of a hike beyond Coral Bay to get there, but it’s worth it. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect beach vacation

This property was the perfect place to getaway. The house is in a great location with amazing views. The surrounding beaches were great for snorkeling and the locals were friendly and welcoming to my family. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and look forward to coming back in the future.

Everything was as described. St. John is a gorgeous island to visit and we loved every minute. This VRBO is secluded and incredibly relaxing. We had no issues with anything and would be beyond fortunate to visit this rental again. Perfect for two couples or any group of 4 really. Best shower I’ve had on an island by far. Pressure and temperature is similar to a mainland hotel. Had everything we needed for meals at ‘home’ too. Absolute gem of a rental.

We absolutely loved our time at the beautiful Estate Hansen Bay. We stayed for eight days and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the island, discovering beaches, and hiking the nearby trails. We also took full advantage of the beach access down the hill, which is both walkable and drivable.The snorkeling off the private beach was incredible—we saw numerous turtles, nurse sharks, large puffer fish, octopuses, stingrays, and hundreds of stunning fish. Evenings spent in the pool were a highlight as well, all while taking in the breathtaking views.The owner, Ken, and the property manager, Jeremy, were exceptionally helpful throughout our planning and went above and beyond during our stay—even checking on us after all flights in the Caribbean were canceled.We highly recommend Estate Hansen Bay if you’re looking for a beautiful, secluded, peaceful, yet adventurous vacation.

Serene paradise.

This was our second time at Long Bay. We love the serenity. The views from the porch of this house are breathtaking. The private beach is an excellent escape from crowds. It has some top-notch snorkeling straight out from the house. I think I may stay at this place every time I visit St John
