This newly remodeled upscale home overlooks the Atlantic Ocean is part of Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Our home is fourth from the waters edge facing Southwest. Lounge in your private hammock or enjoy the gorgeous tropical landscaping and cool breezes on one of two balconies, dock or poolside, where you can soak up the sun steps from the house. The property also features it owns little sandy beach perfect for sunbathing. Breathtaking southwest views of the blue-green ocean can be seen from the balcony off of each bedroom.

Your boat, up to 24 feet, can be kept at the dock for your entire stay in the calm waters . Looe Key and American Shoal Reef can be seen from the house where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving reefs in the keys, along with the excellent fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or you can venture out to experience the history and action in Key West located only 17 miles away. In the immediate area you’ll find several very good restaurants, a gym/wellness center, and Cudjoe Garden’s Marina, a full service marina. The only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions.

Beautiful place!

The house is absolutely beautiful! You cannot beat the location. We met the owner while we were at the gated community and he was very accommodating. You can kayak right out back, there are great views from the pool which was kept nice and cool during the summer. We highly recommend this place. Just be sure to secure a place to park your trailer before you arrive if you’re bringing a boat. We did have some issues with the initial property manager, but the owner took over with communication and made our vacation one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had. We plan on going back! It was also a great place for our children! Very kid friendly with lots of stuff to do.

Our first time to the Florida Keys

Overall, my family had a great time staying at this location. We enjoyed using the pool and kayaks. It didn’t have an actual paddle board as stated and my daughter was disappointed with that. My husband really enjoyed fishing from the dock. He caught a variety of fish. The house was clean and modern. Plenty of space for us. There was a variety of products available at the home for us to use. Lactation isn’t too far from Key West. We would definitely stay here again ‘

Nice location

We had an overall positive experience with the property management, communication was smooth, the location was convenient, and the property itself was clean and well-maintained.However, we did notice a few areas where improvements could make a big difference. The amenities provided were quite minimal, for example, there was a very limited supply of paper towels and bathroom essentials, which can be challenging for larger families.More importantly, the beds and mattresses were quite dated and uncomfortable. Some felt partially broken, and unfortunately, I struggled to get a good night's sleep during our entire stay.This isn't intended as a negative review, our stay was still enjoyable, but attention to these basic comfort and maintenance details could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. A few thoughtful upgrades would go a long way in ensuring future guests have a more comfortable and satisfying visit.

My family of older boys enjoyed a great stay at the location. The property is well maintained. They have some very nice amenities and it was conveniently located to explore the lower keys.

Spring Break

We had the best time at this property! It was clean and very nice. We loved how the girls could swim in the pool and the boys could be fishing at the dock and you can see everyone. Lots of fun stuff to catch out front. We had the best time!

Great Keys Getaway

My family and I (two adults, two teens) fully enjoyed our trip. This was one of the cleanest rental properties I’ve ever stayed in! We loved having bikes and kayaks available, plus a pool and dock. The night stars were gorgeous and the daytime water views were lovely. Great spot in the lower Keys for access to marinas and the Key Deer Refuge while being quiet enough to fully check out.

Very clean, nice warm pool overlooking ocean. Went on kayaks! Just be aware if there are older people visiting with bad knees, hips etc., there’s a big flight of stairs to go up and down. I was glad our 93 year old friend cancelled. He would not have been able to get up stairs. But overall it was very nice 2 day stay

Beautiful condo

We loved the location to Key West.The condo was very roomy for 2 adult couples, very comfortable, well-stocked kitchen and loved the view from the balconies off the bedrooms. Having bikes and kayaks at hand was great. Wonderful chairs on the dock to watch the sunset.

Wonderful Stay in the Florida Keys!

Great week in the Florida Keys. Home was extremely clean, very well equipped, had everything you needed to make you feel at home. Each bedroom had it's own ensuite bath and it was perfect for two couples. Location was excellent and would not hesitate to book here again.Thanks Melanie!

Condo is comfortable but has poor view of the water

Melanie gets top rating for being quick and thorough in responding to our questions or problems. The furniture was very comfortable and were the beds.The kitchen was well stocked with pot/pans/utensils and dishes but did not have an abundance of silverware so we had to run the dishwasher every day.Our biggest disappointment was the poor viewing of water. The ocean was only visible from the second third floor porch.

Family vacation in the Keys!

Our family loved everything about our stay in Cudjoe Key. The property had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The property owner was very friendly and helpful and easy to get a hold of. We highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Beautiful home!

Visited for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay. Gorgeous home! Plenty of room for a family of four (3 adults and 1 teen) especially having a third full bath. Nice pool area with a heated pool and beautiful views. Close enough to Key West to go back and forth. We will definitely return!

Highly suggested!

This is a great place to call home while visiting the keys. The location was great for exploring all of the other keys including Key West, and it was away from all the noise and commotion. Very easily accessible. The house was super clean and tidy with more than enough room for the two of us. The space would definitely be roomy enough for a family or for sharing with another couple. We would definitely stay again

Sunrise Beach is a quiet place to relax. With nearby dive companies, or your own boat, you can explore some of the most beautiful reefs in the Keys just a few miles off shore. Nearby Key West (17 miles) is always a fun trip for a wide variety of food and entertainment. However, three of my top five favorite restaurants anywhere in the keys are less than 5 miles away. You will be staying in one of eleven stilt homes in this secluded gated community.
