This newly remodeled upscale home overlooks the Atlantic Ocean is part of Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Our home is fourth from the waters edge facing Southwest. Lounge in your private hammock or enjoy the gorgeous tropical landscaping and cool breezes on one of two balconies, dock or poolside, where you can soak up the sun steps from the house. The property also features it owns little sandy beach perfect for sunbathing. Breathtaking southwest views of the blue-green ocean can be seen from the balcony off of each bedroom.

Your boat, up to 24 feet, can be kept at the dock for your entire stay in the calm waters . Looe Key and American Shoal Reef can be seen from the house where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving reefs in the keys, along with the excellent fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or you can venture out to experience the history and action in Key West located only 17 miles away. In the immediate area you’ll find several very good restaurants, a gym/wellness center, and Cudjoe Garden’s Marina, a full service marina. The only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions.

Beautiful place!

The house is absolutely beautiful! You cannot beat the location. We met the owner while we were at the gated community and he was very accommodating. You can kayak right out back, there are great views from the pool which was kept nice and cool during the summer. We highly recommend this place. Just be sure to secure a place to park your trailer before you arrive if you’re bringing a boat. We did have some issues with the initial property manager, but the owner took over with communication and made our vacation one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had. We plan on going back! It was also a great place for our children! Very kid friendly with lots of stuff to do.

My family of older boys enjoyed a great stay at the location. The property is well maintained. They have some very nice amenities and it was conveniently located to explore the lower keys.

Our first time to the Florida Keys

Overall, my family had a great time staying at this location. We enjoyed using the pool and kayaks. It didn’t have an actual paddle board as stated and my daughter was disappointed with that. My husband really enjoyed fishing from the dock. He caught a variety of fish. The house was clean and modern. Plenty of space for us. There was a variety of products available at the home for us to use. Lactation isn’t too far from Key West. We would definitely stay here again ‘

Family vacation in the Keys!

Our family loved everything about our stay in Cudjoe Key. The property had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The property owner was very friendly and helpful and easy to get a hold of. We highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Winter getaway!

Great location, easy to travel to Key West or nearby Keys. Many great restaurants nearby. We loved the Square Grouper. Also loved visiting the State Parks. Highly recommend this location. We fell in love with the Florida Keys.

Nice location

We had an overall positive experience with the property management, communication was smooth, the location was convenient, and the property itself was clean and well-maintained.However, we did notice a few areas where improvements could make a big difference. The amenities provided were quite minimal, for example, there was a very limited supply of paper towels and bathroom essentials, which can be challenging for larger families.More importantly, the beds and mattresses were quite dated and uncomfortable. Some felt partially broken, and unfortunately, I struggled to get a good night's sleep during our entire stay.This isn't intended as a negative review, our stay was still enjoyable, but attention to these basic comfort and maintenance details could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. A few thoughtful upgrades would go a long way in ensuring future guests have a more comfortable and satisfying visit.

Everything was perfect. Just like the description. We selected this property because of the boat dock and it’s only a short drive to Key West. We took an 18ft boat and it worked out great. We can’t wait to come back.

Peaceful Retreat

I cannot say enough about this beautiful home on the water in the Florida Keys. It was the perfect getaway for a few days. Melanie is so accommodating and her home has all the things needed for a comfortable stay. The proximity to Key West (about a 20 minute drive) is perfect for nights on the town. All in all a great place to stay-when visiting the Keys! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Birthday weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway, quiet, relaxing, and much-needed. if you’re looking for nightlife key west is only 30 minutes away. If you enjoy the peace and quiet the little resort was perfect. My only complaint would be the beds. Both beds were very loud and uncomfortable but that’s just my personal preference.

Perfect location

Everything in this house was of a superb standard. If you want to see the Keys, be close to everything, but still have a quiet relaxing time then this is a perfect spot. We didn't have a boat but it's an easy launch location and we did us the free bicycles and kayak that came with the house. If you enjoy shade you get that on the decks and under the house, if you want the sun then the quiet pool and water front area allows that.

Sunrise Resort

This was a recommendation from John who owns several condos at this location. I actually stayed in his unit, 2 of my sons and their families stayed in this unit. Cgeck-in was a little rocky. We were in our unit and my son and his wife were not able to get in this unit as they were told they had to wait until propert checkin. They had traveled from California with an 8 month old. Communication was not good other than that things were great.

we had difficulty taking our suitcases up to our condo . veiws very obstructed ,no real beach ,pictures deceptive rules to wash all dishes all the dishes and place them back to where it was kept ...we are on vacation worn out sheets and towels ,beds are worn and comfortable no welcome notes ....to business like .. last but not least $ 250 cash for cleaning the place

Beautiful stay in Cudjoe Key

Beautiful comfortable condo on the water in Cudjoe Key. Condo was very spacious & comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. High speed internet too! Nice small pool. Newer little pier. Parking available for boats but just know how to navigate cause water is shallow. 4 kayaks to use which was great for paddling around mangroves. Saw a baby bull shark & a 4’ nurse shark! Covered tiki hut and nice outside chairs on water. Park underneath house. Outside table for 6. We felt it was a great location. Not in the business of Key West but just a short drive. Owner even dropped off a key lime pie!! Nice stay!

Perfect!

We had a long day of travel from the west coast to Miami. One piece of luggage was delayed. We didn't get to the property til 11pm or so. There was no water. We contacted Melanie for suggestions. There was a water main line break and no one had water in the lower keys. She brought us bottled water first thing in the morning. The accommodations are everything you need. Neighbors are so friendly. Would stay there again!! Thank you!!

Place was nice, A/C was programed not to go under 73 most of the time it it was hot in there called property manager she got upset. checked out at 10:10 instead of 10:00 she got mad again. Property managers was not nice i would not recommend.

Sunrise Beach is a quiet place to relax. With nearby dive companies, or your own boat, you can explore some of the most beautiful reefs in the Keys just a few miles off shore. Nearby Key West (17 miles) is always a fun trip for a wide variety of food and entertainment. However, three of my top five favorite restaurants anywhere in the keys are less than 5 miles away. You will be staying in one of eleven stilt homes in this secluded gated community.
