5 minutes to Parris Island, 10 minutes to historic Beaufort with waterfront dining, park and shopping, and 20 minutes to Hunting Island State park with beautiful beaches, light house and nature center.

Beautiful lowcountry style home located in the heart of Port Royal Village on a quiet street lined with Oak Trees.

Our home is only 5 minutes to the front gate of Parris Island Recruiting Depot, which makes getting on and off base easy.

It is located in the heart of Port Royal Village which offers several restaurants, shops and the Sands Beach all within walking distance. Check out Moondoogies for their famous fried pickles and crab cakes or grab some southern style BBQ at Smokin Planks. You can also grab a pizza to go and enjoy lunch or dinner down at the Sands Beach where you can take it views of Parris Island, look for Dolphins or hunt for sharks teeth. Visit the Historic Port Royal Foundation Museum and pick up a self guided tour and admire the many historic homes and businesses.

Our home has 2 Bedrooms, with a California King, a Queen bed, plus sleeping loft with (2) twin beds, 2 Bathrooms, upgraded kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range and quartz countertops, front porch with rocking chairs and screened in back porch.

The main kitchen/living and dining room combo area, is perfect for families that want to be together. The first floor also includes the guest bedroom with queen size bed, full bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs you'll find the Master bedroom with california king bed, attached full bathroom and sleeping loft with (2) twin beds.

The nice size front porch is perfect place to sit on the rocking chairs and enjoy morning coffee or sit and relax after a long day of exploring the town. The back porch is screened in and includes dining area.

Cable and WIFI internet are also provided.

Perfect for USMC Graduation

The house is adorable & so is the little area it’s located in. We love walking daily & seeing all the cute houses around. It was a short drive to Parris Island & very convenient to everything.

Cozy Stay in Port Royal

We spent the Christmas holiday in the low country of South Carolina and our family stayed in this wonderful home in a fabulous location in Port Royal. The home was comfortable and very clean; nice convenient kitchen with great appliances. The very best thing about this home is its location. After becoming familiar with the area, we felt there was nowhere else in the area we would have rather stayed.

Marine Graduation

Glad I chose this house it was close to everything a cute little town Port Royal perfect for what we needed my daughter Graduated from Parris Island and this house was in the perfect location. Wi-fi was very slow but over all it’s a great stay very comfy beds very clean.

Stay here for your Marine Graduation

This little cottage was a perfect spot to stay for our son’s graduation. Loved that there was a great restaurant within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood - cozy. Way better than cost of hotel.

Lovely Stay, Very Cute House

This was the perfect spot to stay for my son’s graduation from Parris Island. It is located very close to Parris Island and we could walk to multiple restaurants, see the sun set within walking distance at a boat dock and have a very pleasant time. The bedroom situation is versatile and while cell service was spotty, we were there to spend quality family time, not do any work or be super connected. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful stay to get our new Marine!

This home in Port Royal is beautiful! It is clean, cozy, well-appointed, and conveniently located within walking distance of the Main Street and the water. The owners are very responsive and kind as well. Our trip here was to pick up our son as he completed USMC boot camp and graduated this week. This home made our stay so comfortable! Thank you and Oorah!

Quiet, Clean and Convenient

This is an older property that has been well-maintained with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. We really appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the cleanliness of the house. The carpeting is pretty worn and stained, and the couch cushions in the living room are uncomfortable to sit on likely from years of use, but overall, this is a great property.

Perfect location to visit Parris Island

This house was perfect for us during our trip to bring our Marine home. Port Royal is an adorable little town. Good restaurants are within walking distance and there are more with just a short drive. This house is in a perfect location to make trips back and forth from the island. The house is clean, neat, and tidy. Communication with the owners was easy and accommodating. I could not recommend this place more!!

Marine graduation

Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Communication was excellent. Close to Beaufort and Parris Island. There was a lot to do close by. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great Stay for Marine Corps Graduation

We stayed for our new Marine's graduation and I cannot recommend this place enough. The house is on a quiet street and neighborhood just a short walk from great dining and less than 10 minutes to the Marine Depot. The owner is a retired Marine and was very accomodating for us and communicated with us well through the check in and check out. We are all out of family eligible to enlist and bring us back to the area, but I would recommend it to any group of 6 or less as a great place to stay for a couple of days

Comfortable Stay

The home was beautiful and clean. The location was perfect for the reason we were in the area. Minutes to Parris Island and Beaufort. Highly recommend dining at The Carolina Tavern. My only suggestion would be to update the main photo of the home on the listing. We were looking for an orangish red door and it has since been painted blue. Beds were a little firm and “loud” as well.

Absolutely Perfect ❤️

We arrived to this home and we were very pleased. Very close to Parris Island. 5 minutes away and super easy to get to. The house was inviting and warm. Had all amenities of home. My entire family was thrilled with my choice. Local grocery and shops all near by. Phil and his wife have done an amazing job making sure we had everything . I'm glad we found the perfect home to celebrate such an amazing experience . So if you are heading to SC for a Marine graduation or just a vacation this is a beautiful home and a perfect place to stay.

Great Stay

Weoved being in the midfle of Port Royal and just a very short drive to Sands Beach, we did not rent golf cart because of this. We did drive further to Hunting Island State Park and as always totally worth it. Being fairly close to surrounding town we were able to take short day trips to farmers market, outlet mall and second hand shopping. Port Royal has lots of little shops and great eateries. We walked to 11th street Fishcamp and for coffee. Sands Beach is low key during the week and perfect for relaxing, kids play, dolphin watching and plenty of shark teeth. The house had plenty of hot water and stayed cool with shades down. Quiet area, lovely evening walks, playground near by, ice cream shop and a must is the cypress trail. Most comfortable vacation beds ever!!

My wife and I are originally from Northwest Ohio and we have 2 boys. I joined the Marine Corps in 1992 and attended recruit training right here at Parris Island. At the time, I was completely unaware of how beautiful this area was. The Marine Corps brought us back to Beaufort, SC in 1999, where I served as a Drill Instructor on Parris Island for 3 years. My wife and I fell in love with the town for its beauty, history and simple life style. I actually proposed to my wife on the front porch of this home. After many more moves with the Marine Corps, we were finally able to move back to Port Royal 3 years ago.
