We highly recommend this house for your stay in the Springs. There's plenty of room for entertaining guests and room to sleep eight. It's backyard is Palmer Park, which offers multiple trails for hiking and sightseeing.

Wonderful place to go back to. With 4 children and 3 adults we had so much room and each one had their own space. We were able to cook most of our meals in their kitchen the rest was eating with our local family. Really enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful, older home exemplifies Colorado. The location and the views were wonderful! Perfect home for large gatherings as well.The home was not as clean as I expected it to be. The upper and lower home is still under renovations.Still updating the appliances. We had no dish washer or wash and dryer on the upper level. The owners did try to have them repaired but not able during our stay.The owners were very nice and welcoming to us. We appreciated the flowers.The listing does mention that the decor is well loved but a bit too much for my liking. I would like to see newer furniture and updated lighting. Overall a pleasant experience based in the location and the views off the back porch!

Chalet next to Palmer Park

Excellent place to stay with Palmer Park right off the back patio. Spacious accommodations for a group. Trails are easy to access but also close to shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed the history of the chalet and browsing the books in the office. Thank you George for sharing your beautiful family home!

Lovely place!

We had a great time at this property! We hiked in the park behind every day, the kids lived going for walks. Everything was comfortable and clean and we even referred our friends to this property for their upcoming trip to the area. Would definitely recommend!

“Grands” Vacation

Our stay at the Chalet was perfect. We did need them to put in the air conditioners (it was hot when we were there), and they took care of that in record time. The home had everything we needed, it is very spacious, and we enjoyed our stay.

Colorado Springs Getaway

We enjoyed the easy access to Palmer Park and hiked there each morning. The house had a Frank Lloyd Wright design style.

Peaceful Getaway

The Chalet was the perfect location for a peaceful getaway with family. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious, well cared for and convenient to enjoying the many sights in the Springs. Watching the deer walk by in the morning while enjoying that first cup of coffee or was a great treat as were the hiking the trails along the bluffs. The Chalet is definitely a location for a return trip.

Short stay

Nice house, quiet neighborhood, easy access to downtown and the mountains, everything in the house you would need. High speed internet, modern kitchen and nice comfy bedrooms. Highly recommend.

Location was a 10! Gorgeous hiking everyday in your backyard. The owner was very welcoming. The only downside we had was because of personal preference. We went to the laundromat instead of hang drying all of our clothing / towels to completely dry. “German style” dryer.
