Beach Vaca

We loved the property. It was beach front and close to excellent dining, shopping and half way between Corolla and Orcacoke Island.

Retirement / Birthday get away

We enjoyed the location of the rental . It was easy access to the beach and had a great view of the ocean . Everything was clean and whatever you may need was there to make our stay a pleasant one .

Small pantry amenities would be a nice touch, sugar, powder creamer, salt, pepper etc. otherwise a great stay!

Great location

Everything was as described. Very clean Take your own paper towels and tp. If you like to cook maybe take tour own pans too.

Great place for a vacation

This place was great for our family vacation. The location was amazing and there was plenty of room for my wife and I, our 3 small children, and my wife’s parents. It was perfect for us. The walk to the beach was easy, especially for all of the stuff we had to carry. Also, even though this was the back side of the building, surprisingly the deck still had a great view.

Property was as expected except all windows and doors were lacking screens. There were also many flies inside house.

We have also set up a work order for this rental's pest company to address any flying insects, which are usually the result from past guests leaving windows and doors open. You can’t get much closer to the ocean than this, without a boat! Cute, quaint and quiet and right on the beach. You do have the “back 1/2” of the house, so your ocean view is from the side of the house. The other unit faces the ocean head-on. They helped us extend our stay by several days. Service was excellent.

Nags Head

The house was very clean and the property management staff were great! However, the house is old, dark, and cheaply decorated. Very inferior as to what I expected.

Shared pourch

House was on the beach with a partial view. The pourch is a walk through for the other side. We did not appreciate the constant interruptions and the slamming of there gate.

Thank you for your feedback on this rental home. While this complex is a duplex with a shared stairwell, we understand your frustration if the neighbors were slamming the gate to the private ocean-facing deck. We have made a work order for maintenance to address this issue either by padding the gate or adding a slow-close mechanism to the gate. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope that, aside from this issue, you were able to enjoy your stay! UPDATE: After speaking with maintenance about the gate, it looks like it was changed shortly after your stay to an "easy-close" gate with buffered rubber to prevent any slamming.

Great location but for the price, my expectations were higher than what we recieved. This is not your typical VRBO. Had to provide our own linens, towels, etc.. No beach items for use at a beach house... I will be looking for something with better amenities next time.

Thank you for your feedback on this rental home. All of our homes provides comforters and pillows but not sheets and towels. However, as noted in the description and amenities, a linen package can be rented through a third-party company that we use, where linens will be delivered to the home and sanitized, sealed linen packages will be placed on each bed. After a reservation is made, a Cove Realty employee will also call the future guest to confirm if linens are needed, if bringing a pet, and explaining travel insurance. We hope that, aside from the confusion with linens, you were able to enjoy all the area has to offer!

Not bad

Parking really difficult. A/C struggled to keep house cool. Temp was set at 72 but house got up to 85. house would cool late evening. Other tenants had to walk thru our porch to get to their unit while we were all sitting there. Not a bad place. Cute , clean and easy walk to beach.

For future guests, parking is limited to two vehicles, with overflow parking being allowed at our office in Nags Head. An Email is sent to guests prior to their stay indicating the assigned parking for this home. We hope that, aside from these issues, you were able to enjoy all the area has to offer!
