En face de la plage sur un terrain privé d'un acre! Fool's Gold offre une vue sur le golfe depuis le confort d'une nouvelle maison! Le salon offre une grande salle ouverte avec une grande cuisine bien équipée, salle à manger spacieuse, et un salon confortable avec une grande télévision à écran plat. Le porche, juste à côté de la salle de séjour est super pour regarder le lever du soleil sur le café du matin ou prendre un super coucher de soleil avec des boissons l'après-midi.

La chambre principale dispose d'un lit king-size, d'une télévision à écran plat et d'une salle de bain privée avec double vasque et douche à l'italienne. Il y a deux autres chambres, une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec un lit superposé sur deux lits superposés. Les deux chambres disposent d'une télévision à écran plat. Une salle de bain complète et buanderie avec lave-linge et sèche-linge sont également situés juste en face du hall.

Il y a une douche fermée avec de l'eau chaude et froide située juste sous la maison pour rincer votre orteil de sable. Aussi en bas, il y a un barbecue de style camp avec des sièges supplémentaires et des jeux pour la famille. Il y a deeded accès à la plage juste de l'autre côté de la rue!

Nous fournissons quelques chaises de plage, des flotteurs, des jouets de plage et un parasol pour vos journées au soleil.

Tout est à l'extérieur sur St George Island et notre propriété a beaucoup d'espace pour se garer, alors n'hésitez pas à apporter votre bateau ou votre voiturette de golf. Nous sommes 0. 5 mile du St George Island State Park. Le parc dispose d'une rampe de mise à l'eau, de nombreux points d'accès à la plage, d'un parking asphalté et de toilettes publiques. Vous pouvez également acheter un laissez-passer du parc pour pêcher l'East End Cut. C'est un super endroit! Il y a d'autres fonctionnalités amusantes sur l'île! La piste cyclable est juste en face de Fool's Gold. Le parc avec terrain de basket et aire de jeux est à 0. 7 mile away. Aussi, montez les 92 marches jusqu'au sommet de la rue historique George Lighthouse pour une vue à 360 degrés à couper le souffle de notre écosystème délicat: Apalachicola Bay Estuary, St. George Sound, golfe du Mexique, Little St. George Island et St. Vincent Island.

We enjoyed our stay - the house was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning for coffee and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. The house is very close to the State Park, we enjoyed spending a few days there. I highly recommend, perfect getaway for 3 best friends!

It doesn’t get much better than this property! This is our second time staying here, and we will definitely be back again. It’s super clean and it has everything you could ever need for a beach vacation! The owners have done an excellent job!

Great place to stay on St. George Island

This home was perfect for our trip, which included kids ranging from 2 to 10. We had a great time there and found the property well equipped with working appliances and comfortable beds. The walk to the beach was just as advertised and we would recommend this property for anyone interested in visiting St. George Island, especially if you are coordinating with a family camping at the State Park.

A wonderful time was had by all

Despite the name, Fool's Gold is a real find. The house is new and well-appointed. It was blissfully quiet in the evenings, comfortable through and through, and well thought out. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely ocean view

We are neighborhood ladies who were looking for a quiet beach trip to relax and kick back. We sat on the front porch with coffee/tea each day and watched the sunset on the front porch each night In between, we went to the beach, shopped and ate delicious food. Trip was everything we hoped for and we thank our host for all she did for us.

The house was absolutely perfect! It sits on a beautiful wooded lot directly across from the ocean. Everything was up to clean and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils ,bowls ,pots & pans.

We absolutely loved our week here at Fool’s Gold! The beach access is only a short 2/3 minute walk from the house and the beach is gorgeous. Great communication from the host, she was quick with a response to any questions that came up.We got to see some dolphins playing in the water while sitting on the front porch. There were hundreds of dragonflies, several bats, tree frogs, and lizards too.The state park is just a couple minutes down from the house and is worth the fee to get in for the day. My only complaint is that I didn’t want to leave! Definitely will look into coming back here in the future!

Great 4th on SGI!!

This house is just as advertised! It was perfect for our family of five. Very clean and furnished with all that we needed and more! So much room for parking under the house with plenty of room for cornhole while it was raining. Nice view of the Gulf when having morning coffee on the deck. Short 2 minute walk to a secluded beach. No need to get up before the sunrise to jockey for a spot to setup for the day! Great communication with the owner, especially when the storm knocks off the power and she calls the power company for you and lets you know when it should come back on! We loved our vacation and would definitely stay again!

Quiet and Comfy

Clean, comfy and close to the beach. The house has everything you will need. Plenty of dishes, utensils and towels. The covered parking under the house has an excellent outdoor shower for washing off after the beach. There were plenty of beach chairs and a few beach toys for the kids if you happen to need some. It was a short walk from the house to the private boardwalk that leads directly to the beach. Our only issue were the stairs that led up from the boardwalk (2 sets) and the stairs that led down to the sand. Just be mindful if you bring a cart, which we did. We just left to the side and carried what we had to the beach, so don’t overload your cart!

Awesome place. Exactly what was listed and exactly what we wanted/expected. Sarah was great before, during, and after the vacation. Will definitely stay again. Reviews say not close to beach....that is a lie....5 minute walk through private resident boardwalk deeded to the house. Yes you can see the water from the house, yes there is plenty of parking, yes there is everything you need, and if you have questions, Sarah will help you!

Perfect for our family!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here! Our first time to SGI but definitely not our last. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. The walk to the beach isn’t bad and the privacy at this home is unmatched. Wooded lot on 3 sides. The home has beach chairs and 2 kayaks as well. Our 2 teenagers enjoyed having their own rooms. Lots of spices already there so check the house before you go shopping. The frying pans and sheet pans have seen better days, but we made it work. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fools Gold was Wonderful

Our stay at Fools Gold was wonderful. This is a beautiful and clean home. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean. Communication with the owner was superior. The beach access is not described in detail. Beach access was described as only a short walk. This was correct, but the stairs involved to get over the sand dune and on beach was not mentioned. It is difficult to carry beach gear over both set steps. Luckily, the state park is just 1/2 mile down the road. They have several easily accesses to the beach, two with picnic tables and restrooms. Well worth the 6 per day per vehicle charge. We would definitely consider staying is this home again!
