Such a special place! We stayed here as a family while visiting our oldest son, who attends Colgate. We loved hanging out here during the day in our downtime; it's a spacious yet cozy space and has everything you need. The rushing river at night made for perfect sleep and such an incredible view; you are literally right on the falls!

The Cottage was perfect for our stay. The location was peaceful and we were grateful to be able to sit on the deck overlooking the creek and falls. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

The rental was clean and even decorated for fall when we arrived! All descriptions and photos matched the listing. The tub is an absolute dream in the downstairs bathroom. We decided to host our micro-wedding here and the hosts were available for all of our questions! This VRBO was so gorgeous and the falls are bigger than we thought they would be (in the best way!). Waking up to the sound of the waterfalls was a great way to start our day each morning. We will absolutely be back!

The waterfall is the obvious highlight, but the entirety of the cottage is charming in and of itself. From the loft to the fireplace to the bathroom overlooking the falls, everything was the definition of "cozy." Getting lulled to sleep by the rushing water every night and having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the waterfall is something I'll never forget.

Everything at the Cottage was very well maintained . The only disappointment was the sleep by numbers bed which was uncomfortable and difficult to operate.A regular queen mattress would have been just fine.

Charming little cottage. There was NO AC, my own fault for missing this information on listing. River with falls a lovely ambiance. Cottage had everything I needed. Good stock of games and firepit outside to keep kids busy. Location was poorly marked on road. And there was 2 addresses that drop on GPS. Did take us about 30 mins to locate the actual address and location. Sleeping arrangements were great in the loft. But the one queen bed was very uncomfortable, extremely uneven bed. That really should get Changed out. Over all a good cottage 4 stars!

We are glad you enjoyed your time playing at our waterfall. We're sorry, it sounds like you had trouble with adjusting the sleep number bed. We have found that AC just doesn't work in the big vaulted space, but is rarely needed.

One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at….the pictures don’t do it justice! Waking up every morning and sitting outside with a cup of coffee in front of your own waterfall was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very nice and accommodating as well. 5 stars.

The photos online doesn't do the cabin justice. The interior was large, updated and clean. By far the best VRBO property that we have ever rented. We are looking forward to another visit next year.

This is like staying at your best friend's house where they have tried to anticipate your every need. The creekside, wooded location can't be beat and is only 20 minutes from Colgate University. Wish it had another private bedroom but we were quite comfortable.
