Great location, great property manager, great place!

Step out onto the patio and see the beach and waves! Wonderful place to stay and very convenient to the beach. Padre Escapes was very communicative and responsive, and helpful.

Four Days in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 wonderful days & nights on the beach and we loved every minute! Our condo is always a clean and well cared for domain. We feel completely at home and very comfortable. Great a/c and No Bugs! For the beach those are two things that often aren’t true. We love beach combing early each day and that is right out our front door. We also sit on our porch watching the waves and all the other things happening on the beach. We are already planning our next trip to the coast! Thank you El Constante and Padre Escapes for being so good to us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at a beachfront condo for a quick family visit to the beach. The view and convenience to the beach were great. We were happier before with other condos at the property though, ours was in need of repairs and replacement of outdoor furniture. The noise on the bottom floor from upstairs was also difficult to tolerate. The space was clean but in need of general maintenance and repair.

Wonderful property with kind, helpful and hardworking groundskeep

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful, well maintained property in & out. Groundskeeper was very kind & helpful, always tending to the beautification of property. Inspectors smiled too, as did a guy in the office who I wish I'd spoken to instead. The girl on 4/28 was kind, but 2 girls I spoke to at arrival 4/26 & departure 4/29 were not. As repeat guests who've worked at hotels, we were very put off by their "service." Their version of professional was stobby annoyance, seeming as though I had no right to ask my questions. I understand policies change, which is why I asked, despite no changes to the contract. Previously, if a room was ready, you could check in early without a fee. I was checking if mine was ready just prior to arrival at 2:30, to avoid receiving notification moments after opting to occupy my kids & dog at the beach. I would've considered the fee if I hadn't been spoken down to when asking, but then didn't trust I wouldn't be swindled out of $25 to just enter my room 15min early. I confirmed on 4/28 with a kind girl that there was still a courtesy noon check out policy & there were 2 $25 extensions after, until being charged a full day at 3. The next day I wanted to confirm the specific time, since I recalled it being 12:59, with $25 fees @ 1 & 2, & full day fee at 3, but the day prior it sounded like noon, or a minute before or after. I didn't want to have my toddler or dog couped up in the car longer than necessary while loading & following th rules. I also wanted to confirm the noon late check out request was noted. The girl I asked sternly told me check out was 11am, & to not be charged we needed to be out by 11:15am. I explained it was different than what I was told the day prior & on previous stays, as my room wasn't booked the day of departure. She softened her response slightly & advised probably 11:30 was okay. Please get all staff & guests on the same page with policy to not hinder guest experience at start & end of stay, as our efforts were well intended, but ill met

The only problem we had was water seeping under the door and window during a tropical storm. The management gladly gave us extra towels to sop up the water. We also lost cell service and power for about 8 hours.

Good and Bad

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have a family of four with two littles. We stayed for a quick trip of 3 nights/4 days. We picked the first floor for the convenience of carrying all the beach toys etc that they would need. However, the people above us were so loud! Between walking, running up the stairs, running from one side to the other side and back again, closing doors, even knocking on the doors; we could hear it all! On the first night, 12:30am we finally had to call the after hours phone number to complain. The after hour person said if the people upstairs didn’t calm down in 30 minutes to call back. By 1:00am they finally calm down/went to sleep. Second night got a little better only because the people up stair calmed down by 12am. The room itself was fine. It had everything we needed. Extra fans in the closet was a bonus to help drown out the noise from upstairs. The one bedroom was hotter than the rest of the space. TV with Roku was great for the kids for the Disney+. The fold out couch was a futon mattress and was ok for my kids but I don’t think an adult would be that comfortable. The beach was super packed at the time we went. We had to wake up early and go down and CLAIM and spot on the beach by 7am. If you waiting past 8:30am good luck trying to get a front row spot/water view. Overall our stay was good with the space and easy access to the beach, but if we didn’t have the inconsiderate people above us we would have had a great trip.
