a few delightful days by the sea

Fig Tree House is extremely nice. You can walk from the station, you can walk to the beach, to the pier, to the High Street. it is very well furnished and equipped. I like the sense of peace ,fresh air and privacy provided by the outside area.

Great holiday property, fully equipped with all you need for a great stay

We had a lovely stay in October 2026. All very clean and comfortable, 2 mins from seafront and easy walking to town, always managed to park somewhere close by. Towards the end of the week the weather got cold and although the thermostat was set to twenty the radiators were only slightly warm, so was a bit chilly, that was the only downside.

Perfect place to stay

Our second stay at Fig Tree House and I’m jealous of the owners! The house is kept beautifully with lots of thought put in for the convenience of those renting it. It is conveniently located to central Deal for its restaurants, shops, delis and cafes, plus a stones throw from the beach. Keepers are also very helpful to ensure your stay is seamless, as they quickly replaced a missing hairdryer. We’ve used them many times and will continue to use them for Kent-based holidays.

Fabulous Weekend Stay

Beautifully appointed house. So comfortable and tastefully decorated. Well positioned for town centre and seafront. Highly recommend.

House was beautifully furnished and in excellent condition. Well located for beach access and very close to the main street. We all slept extremely well and enjoyed everything Deal had to offer, despite the autumnal weather.

Fabulous time at Fig Tree House

Great location with an easy walk to central Deal with its range of shops and eateries. Also an easy walk to the beach. The house itself is very well equipped with everything needed for a very comfortable stay, plus it is very roomy, with a lovely courtyard garden. We do hope to stay again!

This house was really lovely. It was very well equipped, all the beds were comfortable and it had a good sized garden. It is near the centre of Deal and the sea. Perfect.

A perfect place to stay.

We had a wonderful time in Deal and staying in this property was great. We have used 'Keeper's cottages' many times. They always keep you updated and their properties always live up to expectations. The property and garden was perfect. Close to town and the sea. We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was easy to find. Comfortable beds and a lovely bath to relax in at the end of a busy day.

A perfect weekend away with our new baby, parents and dog!

We had a really great stay at Fig Tree House! I couldn't have enjoyed it more! We went for a long weekend and the house had everything we needed. It was more than big enough to accomodate my wife/baby, my parents and my dog without feeling like we were all getting in each others way. In particular, the second lounge was really useful and it allowed me to work from home without disturbing the rest of the family. The wifi was good. The design and quality of the house is also very good. Particularly the bedrooms and the bathroom that feel like they are brand new and of very high spec. The garden was also very lovely and had some really interesting mature fruit trees (including a fig tree!). We spent both evenings out in the garden with a glass of wine and was a very quiet and relaxing space. Would definietly do a BBQ if we stayed longer and/or were more oganised. The location is also excellent. It is just a couple of streets away from the seafront and 5 mins into the town. We spent each day taking a stroll along the seafront and then ending up at a little beach bar on the seafront for a coffee/beer. I loved it so much I am trying to get my family back again in September! Thank You Chris
