Back again to Dexter’s House

This is our second stay at Dexter’s House and the property continues to provide wonderful accommodation in the historic part of Deal. The ambiance of the property is super and its location in Middle Street is very convenient for seafront walks, local shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is readily available without charge a short walk along the seafront . The cottage is thoughtfully decorated with a nautical theme and is very well equipped. The owners clearly take great pride in the property and its furnishings give a very homely feel. We will look forward to returning again.

An oasis of a weekend!

Loved the location. Close to everything. Loved the Deal Pier Kitchen. Clean, comfortable and idyllic. Couldn’t have been better....

Dexters House is ideally located in Deal for both the beach and the High Street. We love this holida

Dexters House is ideally situated for both Deal beach and Deal High Street. It comfortably accommodates 6 people in the 3 bedrooms, relaxing in the lounge and eating at the dining table. It is clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. This is our 2nd stay at Dexters House and we hope to return next year. It feels very homely and we love it.

Character cottage with history

Dexter's Cottage is full of character and beautifully decorated throughout. It is well equipped with modern appliances. The stairs are steep but plenty of bannisters are provided. It is positioned between the High Street and the coast.

A superb cottage. Very well location 50 mtrs. from the seafront. Extremely well appointed and would highly recommend. Just one small point. A nonslip mat in the bath would be useful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Age catches up

We had to change our booking from the Pink House to Dexters at last minute because of building noise next door. We’ve stayed at Dexters many times in the past but had forgotten how steep and awkward the stairs are for people now in their late 70s. The house is great but won’t be staying there again!!

Home from home

Dexter's house is centrally located which makes everything within walking distance. The house was light, airy, warm, comfortable and clean. The stairs are steep but made easier with grab rails along the way. Both bathrooms were spotless, and the bedrooms comfy. The beach was less than a minute in one direction, and the Saturday market in the other. I would highly recommend a stay hear.

A wonderful stay!

We booked this last minute when other holiday plans fell through and we feel as though we got so lucky! Booking was a breeze - Amy in the office patiently answered all my questions and sent me extra information on the area and places to visit as we’d never been before. Dexters House is a gorgeous 1780s built 3 storey home full of character and beautifully presented. It was immaculately clean, had all the things we needed plus extras that we greatly appreciated like the Echo Dot speakers and the cupboard of board games. We spent most days out and about as we were blessed with warm, sunny dry weather throughout our stay, but the house was a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing or relaxing on the beach. It’s so conveniently located, a 2 minute walk to the sea front and 5 minutes into the High Street. There’s plenty to see and do within easy reach - we have more than enough things left for another visit to be justified! Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely place to stay, and to Keepers Cottages for making it so easy to arrange and always being there if needed. We will be back!

Dexter’s House is perfectly located a stone’s throw from both the sea and the market square. Cosy, exceptionally well-equipped and decorated, it is homely and comfortable. We were sad to leave.

Fantastic property with great management and location

Really loved our stay. The property was fantastic and really well stocked. The location was excellent, so close to the sea and tons of great cafes and restaurants. Instructions were super clear and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Feed back on Dexters cottage

Fabulous cottage , home from home. Great location, you can even see the sea from the top bedroom. A welcome pack would have been nice and extra hand towels for hair washing. The towels and a spare key ( which I requested) were fulfilled upon request. Would definitely return to Dexters cottage.

Excellent weekend break

We’ve stayed here before in this old quirky house in the middle of Deals conservation area. Wonderful location, warm and comfortable with three good sized bedrooms. Very steep stairs as a lot of this aged properties in Deal have. Suffice to say we’ve already booked to return for another long weekend in the New Year.
