Key Largo pool & dock

Very nice, new paint outside. Inside was nicely decorated, furniture was in good condition. Kitchen had all the equipment needed. Our stay was perfect for the month we stayed. Owner was very accommodating to our needs. We would stay here again.

5 Star Stay!

My husband and I wintered here. We checked in January and left early March. During that time we got to know the area pretty well. You cannot beat this location. It’s close to everything. Check in was so easy. The owner met us and went over everything. If I had any questions or issues he very quickly responded and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. The canal is good for kayaking and fishing. Definitely a 5 star stay. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

We recently had the pleasure of staying 5 weeks at John's house. The house is absolutely beautiful, and our stay was wonderful. The house is very modern, beautifully decorated and is furnished with all new appliances. In addition, all of the bedrooms have new and very comfortable mattresses. The heated pool was really a delight and the outside grill made for some great dinners. Location-wise, the place is fantastic. Situated in Key Largo is great because traffic there is not as bad as farther south in the keys. Its right across from John Pennekamp which has some great kayaking and not too far from Dagney Johnson. We rode our bikes to both places several times. In addition, the house is on a canal. We put our kayak in several times right from the dock and went exploring. We ran into several manatees and enjoyed watching them. We also liked watching the iguanas which would hang out on the trees across from the dock and would sometimes come to visit us. But we kept the pool water too warm for them so they wouldn't jump in for a swim. (LOL) John was an excellent host and responded to all of our requests immediately. The stay was absolutely enjoyable, and we hope to do it again next year.

Beautiful Home, Best spot to enjoy the Bay and the Ocean and a great host!

We have been coming to Key Largo for six years, one to two months in Feb and March. We lost our favourite house because the owners sold and the new owners were taking residence. This is by far our favourite house and our favourite location on the water. We are now 69 and 79 and pulling a 26 foot boat for two days from Tennessee is quite a trip. The owner, John, met us at the house, gave us a tour, made sure we had everything we needed and then stayed to off load our boat. John even offered to help us get the boat off the trailer and at the dock. He checked in with us frequently and we even enjoyed some funny texts together and shared photos! Thank you John for an amazing month. We would love to come back!

Key Largo

The house was beautiful. However, there were no instructions on how to work the tv and there were numerous cosmetic problems with the house including a broken dishwasher which wasn’t fixed until the third week that I was there, a broken cabinet door in the kitchen, and a dresser that was unusable in the third bedroom. Having said all that, once you got past the cosmetic problems, it is a beautiful home and I enjoyed my time there.

Great March Vacation

The home was excellent in all respects. Very clean, and no carpet so very easy to keep clean. Owners were there to meet us when we arrived and gave us an excellent tour of the property. We have stayed in the keys annually since 1988 and this was our favorite house. Location was also great. On Bay side but with easy and close access to ocean. Ice maker down stairs was terrific addition for our daily boat excursions. Nice canal with lots of dockage for our 20 foot boat. Will definitely return.

Absolutely a wonderful house

Our month flew by far too quickly. The house is fabulous, well-equipped and comfortable. But the best part of being there were the hours and hours we spent enjoying the pool, spa and all of the outdoor areas. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a perfect relaxing vacation. The manatees and iguanas were a bonus!
