This is a very well kept house in a small town. Boat of Garten is a great starting point for hikes, bike rides, and exploring. The property had everything we needed and was charming. We used it as our base for a couple of hikes in the Cairngorms National Forest. It was in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk from the Inn at Boat of Garten where we had a marvelous dinner!

We arrived and the house was warm, clean and inviting.The bedrooms and living room were comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a great selection of family friendly dvds!The kitchen was well equipped and easy to navigate.We had a great time here and would definitely recommend this property!

The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Only negatives were the bed in the double room was small and not very comfy, and the couch/chairs in the living room were also not the comfiest. Apart from that we could not fault the house. Great location, very cosy and kitchen was great, great location.

We loved our stay! This house was a perfect base for exploring Aviemore and the surrounding area. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, is close to lots of fun activities and amenities (restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.). Our short stay

When we arrived, I knew we were going to love it, kids were so content felt like home from home. Very clean and comfortable kitchen was well equipped.. we had the best time, short drive to Aviamore and landmark we also did the quads at Dalraddy. We will definitely be recommending this… thankyou

Great place to relax!

Very nice ! The house had everything we needed for a quick visit to the funicular and a hike. It was very family friendly and the host was very kind and helpful. —Would recommend !

Great stay on Speyside

Great base for exploring all this area has to offer - lots of cycling, golf, canoeing and hillwalking! Great places to eat too - the Boat, Anderson’s and the golf club all worth a visit! Accommodation well kitted out and owner quickly responded to a shower problem we had.

Everything you need

We had a great stay, the property is well stocked with everything you should need, nice to have an enclosed garden for our kids and dog to play in. Location is great too with walks straight out of the door, plus well stocked village shop and fantastic restaurant just down the road.

A very clear and well equipped cottage and in a good location for exploring the beautiful Cairngorms. It is a very peaceful area with a local shop and two nice places to eat.

A great location to explore the beautiful CairngormsThe cottage had everything you need.

Very clear and comfortable cottage. The booking on line was easy and I was kept up-to-date with my reservation and check-in information. Nice peaceful location, a very nice pub in Boat of Gartin which served delicious food. The mobile fish and chips van was also very good food and highly recommend. Idea location for exploring the area.

Highland Stay

It was super comfortable and in a great location for exploring around the Aviemore area! The house was very clean and comfortable with clear communication from the owners. Our two kids (4 and 3 years old) had an amazing time playing in the garden and used the DVD’s like their personal library. Would highly recommend this house for a stay!

Good location for us. Didn't spend alot of time in the house but was very comfortable when we did. Only confusing issue was the recycling plan, but we figured it out! Otherwise excellent.

Delightful stay in Boat of Garten

We loved our stay in Boat of Garten and the home couldn’t have been better. It was meticulously clean when we arrived, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need to comfortably cook in if you choose, and the travel cot and high hair were provided as requested. This home is clearly lovingly cared for and everything inside is in good condition. It really did feel like a home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer!
