Perfect position

The Plaice is in a wonderful position and is very well equipped. We stayed out of season so it was easy to find a space in the public car park. It might not be so easy in high season. Beds were very comfortable. We would certainly stay again.

98/100 The score tables are not working

The location was wonderful with views of the sea to die for. Apart from a minor shower which was dealt with that day , everything was as I would have wished it to be. Sue on behalf of Keys holiday was very friendly and helpful. The Plaice was very good value for money and I would happily go again.

Fantastic location

One of my favourite places to be; practically on the beach and a few steps from the lovely town centre. My family and I have been five years in a row and we still love it.

Another lovely stay

This is the 3rd /4th time staying here. The location is perfect. It has everything you need . We will happily stay again. It is now tired and in need of a refresh. The town is lovely. Lots of independent shops a steam train . Nature reserves with stream . Found a beautiful tawny owl and deer.

Stunning Location

Great location for a week with the grandkids. You can just change into your swimwear and head to the beach and then pop back for lunch etc. Be aware that the windows facing the sea get dirty very quickly due to salt spray with every tide, so I used an extendable cleaner that I found in the apartment to clean them every day, early before the coffee shop underneath opened for business. Sam the housekeeper was super helpful and the kids loved the air hockey/pool table. We moved the mattress from one twin room into the other twin, as we had 3 boys and one girl, which there was just enough space for. We parked at the Public car park behind the apartment which was £46 for the week. It was a short walk to multiple fish and chip shops for chips on the beach !!

Amazing beach front accommodation

We had a very relaxing family holiday at The Plaice. The views are outstanding and the property is only a short walk from shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the kitchen area was very well equipped. It was lovely to get to sleep at night with the sound of the waves.

Very thoughtful host

The location is outstanding! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and you name it, it is there: Games, Playing cards, Books, DVDs, Needlework kit, Dog treats, Nappies etc. The showers are superb, great pressure and temperature. The only slight niggle, we had a few nights in due to the weather and the TV could be a little bigger and have better sound.

Great location

Perfect location and well provisioned. Some fixtures and fittings a little 'tired', but everything provided that you could need, including binoculars and beach toys. Beds are firm, which didn't suit us all, but the sound of the sea in the beach lulled all of us to sleep. Handy for everything in Sheringham, which has loads to do and a lovely atmosphere.

Fab holiday, whatever the weather

We love this holiday apartment for its amazing location. It's a treat to be able to view the sunrise from 2 bedroom windows and sunset from the living room and terrace. It's well equipped (although the tv isn't great) with all you could need. 2 minute walk into the sea, a short stroll to shops, pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path.
