View of the heavens

The view is a million dollar view. The place was cute, clean, and near a good little market. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the thousands of tourists downtown. You can’t walk to downtown Almalfi but there are a few buses that can take you to downtown in about 15 min.

Absolutely loved the house, and location, it was so easy to get around I did not rent a car so I rode the Sita bus it was inexpensive I downloaded an app called moovit which gave me real time bus schedule for everywhere I wanted to go. The views from the porch are amazing

Lovely, peaceful spot!

Located an easy 10 minute bus trip north of the town of Amalfi, this apartment is out of the hustle and bustle of town and has a terrific view over the coast and sea. There is a convenient and well-stocked minimarket a minute's walk up the road. Apartment was clean, well organized, and comfortable. We would happily return!

You must stay at Signora’s Anna’s casa to appreciate the experience. The apartment was immaculately clean. It had lovely old world Italian accents like the hand embroidered decorative table cover. The oversized huge terrace fully overlooking the Mediterranean Sea was spectacular. The kitchen was stocked with many treats for us. Signora Anna was so sweet and kind. She lived in the apartment below us and invited us in for coffee. The AC and heat worked perfectly. Katia and Marlon were there for us every day to help us navigate our way around Amalfi from local restaurants which were all molto delizioso to transportation and places to see. I lost count of how many times I texted Katia with questions. She was so kind and always graciously patient sincerely wanting to be helpful. The near by local market Marcellino was few doors away. The brand of deli meat they carry was superior to anything we’ve ever had in years of living in NYC and in Florida. My husband is not a vacation person but because he knows I enjoy trips said “this is paradise.” For the first time in 42 years of countless vacations he thanked me for planning this trip to “La Casa di Signora Anna.” Many thanks Vrbo for providing this home away from home to enjoy!

There are many things to love about this property, above all the deck with million dollar views. This deck made our stay. The property is a little outside of Amalfi, and we enjoyed being away from the crowds. There is a market just steps away with everything you need. What I wish I had known before hand, however, is just how challenging it would be to get into and out of Amalfi. There is a bus that runs on a regular schedule. Getting into town is not too hard, unless the bus is too full, which almost happened to us once. Getting out of town is a little crazy. Figuring out which bus to take is confusing and then there can be quite a long line for the bus, requiring a lengthy wait to board a bus. One evening it took well over an hour to board a bus. Walking is sort of an option, although from Amalfi it is all uphill, and more than a bit harrowing with the traffic. With all that said, I would not want to mess with a car; driving would be challenging enough, but I also have no idea where people park when they get to the towns. The other issue for our family was that an important piece was missing from the espresso maker, so we could not make coffee. There is no place to get coffee within easy walking distance, so this had a real impact on us. On balance, this property is nice, and again the views are spectacular, but do be prepared for some hassles getting to the property and back. Communication with the host was good and, other than the coffee, our needs were met.

Beautiful place to stay with awesome views. Very clean and an awesome balcony over looking the Mediterranean Sea and hillside of Amalfi. There’s a Market next door with friendly owners who greeted you with a smile and we’re glad to see you. It’s an easy 1.5 - 2 mile walk downhill to Amalfi Marina and shopping. But it’s all uphill if you walk back. We loved our stay there. The only negative thing about Amalfi are the bus drivers and taxi drivers are very rude people. So be prepared. The bus pickup is very unorganized, it’s very hard trying to find the person (each day it’s someone different) selling bus tickets. If you’re on the Agelrola line, good luck getting on the bus! It’s a circus and a 💩 show! There’s not enough buses for the amount of people going that direction. You’ll definitely feel like cattle being pushed through a corral with a Chinese lady being pressed against the bus like a car skidding against a guardrail cussing all the way to the bus door behind you, only to get right to the door with one foot in the air ready to step on that first step thinking you’ve made it and just before you can set your foot down they tell you STOP, it’s full! And now you got another 45 minutes to absorb the insanity of what just happened while you wait for the next bus. The taxi’s are very expensive $50 to go 2 miles and the are some of the rudest people you’ll ever encounter. The scooters are the way to go, but my wife and I felt too old on the narrow streets to be safe.

Dépaysant

Accueil de la propriétaire en français et très sympathique. Superbe vue. La clim et une bonne literie nous font oublier les aboiements de tous les chiens environnants et les klaxonnes de tous les bus qui passent. La plage n’est pas accessible à pied sauf si vous faites du parapente ! Pour le stationnement comptez 10€ par jour chez la propriétaire et 5€ de l’heure à Amalfi ( obligatoire) les plages et les villes sont accessibles en bus pour 1€30 par personne et sont nombreux... pour les qualités du séjour je vous laisse lire les autres commentaires !

Merci pour votre commentaire, mais je pense que cela s'adresse plus à la ville qu'à mon appartement. Amalfi est une ville chère, je vous rappelle que c'est un patrimoine de l'UNESCO et que nous n'avons rien à voir avec cela. Une maison près de la plage vaut quatre fois le prix de mon appartement. En raison de sa situation géographique, Amalfi a du trafic et peu de terrains de stationnement, ce problème n’est pas entre nos mains. En ce qui concerne le bruit, d’autres clients nous ont dit le contraire, ils ont toujours dit que c’était très calme.

Superbe endroit

Il s'agit d'un petit appartement très fonctionnel et charmant avec deux belles chambres et une cuisine pratique, au gaz. Grande terrasse avec vue imprenable sur la mer et les montagnes avoisinantes, superbe. Petit bémol pour l'été, pas de piscine. 10/15 minutes de bus depuis Amalfi puis 5 minutes de marche pour y accéder. Propriétaires très gentils. Epicerie pas chère avec bons produits à 50 mètres. Très pratique. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette magnifique région.

Entièrement conquis !

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette location très agréable, aménagée avec goût, parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants. La grande terrasse offre une magnifique vue sur mer, encore plus belle que sur les photos. La location se situe un peu à l'écart d'Amalfi, au milieu des citronniers, dans un endroit relativement reposant, comparé à l'agitation du reste de la côte en plein mois d'août. Des bus fréquents permettent de se rendre à Amalfi, l'arrêt de bus est situé juste à côté de l'appartement. Une très jolie plage se situe en contrebas de l'appartement, il ne faut pas avoir peur des nombreuses marches, mais on est très largement récompensé par la température et la couleur de l'eau, magnifique.... Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, disponibles, et aux petits soins pour leurs locataires. Ils tiennent une petite épicerie juste à côté de l'appartement, très pratique pour le ravitaillement quotidien. Un grand merci à Giovanni et Maria Lourdes ! Nous espérons revenir dans votre appartement, et conseillons vivement cette location aux autres vacanciers.

Très bon choix! - Précisions à mon appréciation

En me relisant, je constate que la question des déplacements semble très négative. Ce n'est pas cela; en fait, l'appartement est à Amalfi mais pas dans la ville même. Par contre, c'est à 5 ou 10 minutes en auto ou en autobus. Si vous voyagez en autobus, il faut toutefois planifier vos déplacements avec les horaires d'autobus si vous voulez éviter des attentes. Je recommanderais cet appartement sans aucune hésitation!

De toute facon je tiens a preciser que mon appartement est a la ville de Amalfi, mais pas au centre, nous sommes a peu minutes du centre ville avec la voiture ou l'autobus. Et en plus comme vous pouvez lire dans d'autres commentaires l'emplacement est tres bon pour visiter toute la cote de Amalfi. Merci encore.

accueil chaleureux location impec, vue grandiose

Les échanges de mails étaient très sympathiques et nous avons trouvé des personnes accueillantes, toujours à notre écoute. Giovanni parle Italien et Espagnol, Maria Lourdes Espagnol, Anglais et Français. L'appartement est aussi beau que sur les photos.... l'ambiance en plus, spacieux, clair, propre, bien agencé et...... surtout la terrasse très grande avec une une vue sur la mer à couper le souffle. L'épicerie parentale(ouverte de 8 h à 20 h30) est à 50 m de la location avec tout ce qu'il faut (produits italiens, fruits frais, pain, fromage,vins etc... à des prix très convenables). Les voitures se garent en bord de route. Le moyen de transport le plus efficace pour rejoindre les différentes villes de la côte amalfitaine est le bus (qui s'arrête à 150 m en amont de l'appartement, face à la petite église) et leur rotation est fréquente. Sont à visiter Naples, Pompéi , Herculanum... la côte amalfitaine évidemment Nous recommandons cette location. Lucile et Jean Claude

Es ist wunderschön. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Die Lage ist perfekt. 3 km nach Amalfi.Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen eingerichtet und in einem sauberen ordentlichen Zustand. Es ist alles vorhanden was man zum Urlaub in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Alle Geräte haben funktioniert und waren in einem guten Zustand. Handtücher ware in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Sogar Badetücher für den Strand. Die Handtücher wurden einmal in der Woche getauscht. Top! Gleich in der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Laden mit allen Lebensmittel, Getränken und Kosmetika was benötigt wird. Die Bushaltestelle ist 300 m entfernt. Tickets gibt es ebenfalls im Lebensmittelladen.Die Kommunikation mit unserer Vermieterin war top. Gute Empfehlungen und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen den wir in die Garage stellen konnten.Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und möchten uns bei den Vermietern bedanken!

tolle Lage, aber leider etwas laut

Die große Dachterrasse mit dem Ausblick über die Bucht ist einfach gigantisch. Das Apartment ist groß und durchaus für Familie mit 2 Kindern geeignet. Einrichtung war ok. Leider liegt das Haus direkt an der Verbindungsstraße ins Landesinnere. Die LWK und Busse fahren die Serpentinen hoch und hupen ausgiebig an jeder Kurve. Die Parksituation am Haus ist für einen Touristen unklar, entweder Einheimische oder 20min maximal. Also gibt man dann doch dem Drängen des Vermieters für 10€ pro Tag einen Platz in seiner Garage anzunehmen nach. Im kleinen Supermarkt 2 Häuser weiter bekommt man alles was man braucht. Das ist umso erfreulicher , da es keine größeren Supermärkte, auch nicht in Amalfi, gibt. Der Badestrand schein nahe zu sein, ist aber nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreichbar, Parkplätze gibt's nicht. Also zu Fuß 20min runter (30min rauf) und dann die 460 Stufen zum Strand (privat) absteigen. Unten gibt's für 30/25€ 2 Liegen. Das Wasser ist toll. Die Busverbindungen sind erstaunlich gut, 1,30€ kostet einfache Fahrt nach Amalfi. Von dort sind alle Ziele per Bus erreichbar. Fazit: uns hat es gefallen, die Küste ist wirklich toll, man muss sich an die Gegebenheiten (Autoverkehr (chaotisch), Parksituation und Verfügbarkeit von Stränden) erst mal gewöhnen. Dann kann man den Urlaub genießen.

Fantastic terrace on the see

The apartment was very cute and clean. Everything seemed very new, even the beddings. Loved the details such as colorful plates and coffee cups in costiera style. The terrace is great. You have breakfast looking at the breathtaking cost. Only problem was that we left some food out and lots of ants came out. For the rest really good. The host was very friendly and helped as a lot to find good restaurants to eat at an affordable price, which is not that straightforward on the costiera.

Beautiful Amalfi

The check in process was easy. We had a car so the owners provided a garage. That was an extra charge but you need to since there is no place to park on the street. The house was very clean and well equipped. The only draw back is if you are tall like my family is the bedroom ceilings are slanted so you have to bent over a little. But for the view it was worth it. We had dinner on the patio a couple of times so that was nice. Also they have a grocery store just up the street which was convenient. You are only 15 minutes to town by car. For get about walking you would need to take a bus or cab.

Paradise

The apartment was exactly as described on Vrbo. The view was breathtaking. However getting to Amalfi and around or the small towns was a little more difficult than I expected. I would however stay there again.

Excellent stay!!

Loved this place! Our hosts, Maria and Aurelio could not have been nicer, and just next door to address any needs. After dreaming of staying in this location for so long, this place did not disappoint. Although outside of town, there are convenient bus stops close by, and the family market just next door. The terrace space was just perfect, with spectacular views! Loved the porthole window in the bedroom. The kitchen was well set up with everything you need to cook meals at home. Would definitely love to come back here!

Dejlig lejlighed med en skøn terrasse med fantastisk udsigt. Udlejerne boede nedenunder og var meget hjælpsomme. Vi lejede en garage under boligen til 10 euro pr. dag. Det er en nødvendighed hvis man kommer i bil. Manden som havde boligen og supermarkedet hjalp når man skulle bakke ud af garagen. Meget venlig. Lille supermarked 25 m derfra. Havde det nødvendige. Vil virkelig anbefale denne bolig som ligger meget tæt på Amalfi.

Great property--2 miles from town of Amalfi. Spectacular views from the terrace!

Rental unit clean and convenient with grocery a few doors down, everything you need at your fingertips. Sun deck terrace is a huge bonus--for views and sunning. Two bedrooms one bath, setup for four, but this would be tight with four adults. Better for family with two kids. Owner rents a garage space which is necessary if bringing a car because parking is tough. Location of this unit does not allow you to walk to town---public bus transport or your own car. Driving roads on Amalfi Coast is slow and challenging. The smaller the car, the better! Unit's kitchen is most complete. TV (Italian language) and WiFi worked well

Tolle Wohnung in einer sehr schönen Lage

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in einem sehr schönen und sauberen, klimatisierten Appartment. Giovanni und seine Frau Maria sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bushaltestellen, von denen aus die Orte an der Küste angefahren werden, sind in direkter Nähe zu dem Appartment. Für Einkäufe steht der Laden, nur wenige Schritte entfernt, zur Verfügung. Das Highlight ist die Terrasse, von der aus man einen traumhaften Blick über die Küste hat. Erholung und Entspannung sind garantiert. Vielen Dank füreine super schöne Woche.

Very nice Appartment on t...

Very nice Appartment on the Roof of a House from an Italian Family! The owner is very hospitility and everything is present and its very clean. Terras with very breathtaking vieuw. It is a good point to visit several places and there are also a lot of walking pads. To go walking to the beach takes 30 min. but you go also on a big staircase. With hot Weather it is heavy. Better to go by Car (payed parking)or Bus. There are nice Beaches. It is a beautiful coast.
