Clean, simple apartment with a nice shower and a little washing machine (always handy for travelers). Would def stay here again.

Lovely place to be

We took the Chance to explore Venice for a week with an Appartement on Lido. Best choice. And this Appartement has a beautiful Location. Quite in terms of Traffic, directly at a Channel and close to the Lagoon with a beautiful View. Very Clean, lovely and helpful host, kitchen equipment could win with some additional items (cups, bowls or similar), but overcompensated by the great balcony, the real "living room".

Essentials

We found the essentials for living for 2 weeks lacking. Cooking almost impossible. No understandable instructions for washing machine. One bath towel and two hand towels provided for 2 adults. Had to request proper amounts. The picture on VRBO of the terrace is true about the lovely view but the condition of chairs, ripped table cloth etc definitely not what we found. All in all, wonderful location in Lido, but would not rent this apartment again.

The instructions for the washing machine are attached over to the same. The gas kitchen has a safety valve, the use of which requests to keep it pressed for a while. As explained. Quantity of towels are supplied as specified in the announce. No problem in supplying some more if requested. As happened In the terrace, chairs and table are the same used in the garden, and of course are not sitting room chairs. No such complains were ever received, as can be read in the other references.

Une villa de rêve dans un cadre incroyable !

Appartement très propre dans une villa de grand charme (beau jardin méditerranéen notamment agrémenté d'un superbe laurier rose ... et incroyable terrasse avec vue sur Venise !!), au coin de la lagune et d'un plaisant canal. Les chambres sont spacieuses et fraîches, avec une très bonne literie. Accueil chaleureux de M.Marano, très disponible et extrêmement agréable. L'environnement proche offre des commerces de bouche de qualité, une baignade facile et un accès rapide au vaporetto. Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve, inoubliable !

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé en famille un excellent séjour grâce à Paulo, très gentil et de bon conseil. L'appartement était très agréable et bien situé, très paisible dans un cadre idéal. La location était telle que décrite dans l'annonce. Aucun bémol lors de ces vacances parfaites! Merci Paulo!

"The home keeper, Mr.Pao...

"The home keeper, Mr.Paolo was very attentive and helpful during our stay in Venezia. On a rainy day, he rend us umbrella. When I told him that the room with two single beds was cold at night, he offered us extra blanket and rose up the temperature of the heater. Unfortunately my mother had still felt cold since the wind came from the window next to her. I am grateful for his effort. Even the communication before our stay, his correspondence was very quick and with proper English. It is nice to have someone like him nearby. I wished that the basic kitchen consumption goods had been provided, such as oil, spices and dish washing. Four Homliday apartments I stayed before had them. The wifi was good at the beginning of our stay but from the middle of stay, it was deteriorated. We can connect but can not do Internet. Maybe because of the storm??? It could had been nice if there is a leaflet for the information of some shops, supermarkets, restaurants and vaporetto such as location, opening hours, telephone numbers. The rooms were cozy, spacious and clean."

"Appartement trés propre, bien agencé, terrasse sympathique avec une vue sublime sur la lagune et la Place St Marc au loin. Situation centrale, pas trés loin des commerces et du départ des bateaux pour Venise, vélos à disposition, ce qui permet de ne plus utiliser sa voiture pendant tout le séjour, dépaysement garanti... "Visiter Venise à partir du Lido de Venise et de cet appartement tout particulièrement est idéal. Paolo nous accueille chaleureusement dans sa demeure puisqu'il y habite également.Le logement, situé au milieu de splendides villas italiennes est propre, calme, lumineux, et très agréable puisqu'il possède une terrasse qui a un point de vue sur la lagune face à Venise. Les commerces sont tout proches ainsi que les grandes plages du Lido. A conseiller fortement."

Ruhige Lage der schlichten Fewo an einem Seitenkanal

Meine Frau und ich waren Ende Oktober/Anfang November 2023 dort: eine Ferienwohnung auf dem Lido di Venezia in einer ruhigen Lage an einem kleinen Seitenkanal. Nach dem hektischen Treiben in Venedigs Altstadt empfanden wir unser Urlaubsdomizil daher als angenehm erholsam. Den Vermieter haben wir als freundlich und hilfsbereit wahrgenommen. Er ist um Englisch bemüht und kann - allerdings nur wenige Brocken - Deutsch. Manches mutet in der insgesamt sauberen Wohnung eher ältlich an, abgesehen vielleicht vom weitgehend neu gestalteten Badezimmer. Sicherlich kann für den Preis nicht viel mehr als eine eher einfache Fewo erwartet werden, die aber m. E. mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet ist. Alles in allem waren wir recht zufrieden mit unserem dortigen Aufenthalt.

Gute Erholung

Die Lage des ortstypischen älteren Hauses ist klasse. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Der Lido war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des atemberaubenden Venedigs und zugleich der optimale Ort zum relaxen.

Very comfortable and clean, excellent location.

We stayed for a week and found the apartment very comfortable and cool even though Venice was suffering 30 degree temperatures the week we stayed. There is no air con but the design of the building keeps it cool and each room had a fan supplied. The beds in particular were very comfortable. There are two apartments in the building. We stayed in the first floor one which did not have an outside terrace like the one on the second floor and the view was not as good as the other but it was still beautiful. The street is right next to a canal and you can just about see Venice through the trees across the lagoon. The garden is very beautiful and lovely to sit in. Paolo lives on-site and is always about in case of an enquiry but is unobtrusive if you just want to be left alone! The location is excellent, 10 minutes from the ferry stop, 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the supermarket and restaurants. The bedrooms are very spacious. Everything was lovely and clean. There is a washing machine, a clothes airer for drying clothes, an iron and ironing board. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped but with so many options to eat out you will probably not use it much. The journey from Lido to St Mark's square takes about 20 minutes and is a lovely way to see the panoramic views of Venice at their best. We found it a lovely place to relax in after a tiring day sight-seeing in Venice. Definitely recommended.

Belle vacanze a Lido di Venezia

I am visiting this house from time to time during the last 8 years. It is very nice and comfortable, there are everything I need, I am really enjoying staying here. The owner of the house Paolo is very friendly and helpful, I am always happy to meet him again. I have spent in this house holidays with my family and children or with some of them, with my friends and relatives during different seasons of the year. The place is amazing! Lido became a second hometown for me during these years. The beautiful centre of Venice is nearby: about 20 minutes by boat. Also in Lido there are a lot of attractions: very nice sandy beach (5-7 minutes from the apartment), cinema festival in September, airshow in small San Nicolo airport in Lido, also shopping is great. Local market on Tuesdays. Nice small local cafes and restaurants are near. I can strongly recommend this property and hope to come here soon again!

Bel appartement avec terrasse

Nous avons adoré l'accueil de Paolo très chaleureux .Sa maison est bien située à proximité du vaporetto et des commerces (10 min à pied et 5 en velo). Nous avons testé les 2 appartements de sa maison un grand sans terrasse mais nous avons préféré celui avec la terrasse de laquelle on peut voir un petit bout de Venise. Les appartements sont très bien équipés et très propres. Paolo prête même des vélos. Nous avons adoré le lido avec ses plages ,sa tranquillité,son marché... Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Wonderful apartment with big terrace and garden

We (2 adults and 3 young children) spent 3 weeks in this wonderful house. The apartment is truely the perfect place to enjoy Venice and the Lido beach with a family. It is located in a quiet street, yet everything is close-by: the bus stop, the vaporetto, stores and shops and the beach. The apartment has everything you need: One bedroom with a double bed, a second room that can function as a living room or a second bedroom for another four persons. The kitchen is well equipped and you have a grand view over to Venice out the kitchen window. Everything is very clean, towels and sheets are being replaced every week. We spent much time on the big terrace. The kids especially enjoyed the water hose, so they could play and refresh themselves during the hot summer weather. There is a big and very nice garden, my kids loved it too! There are 2 bikes, but also 4 can be used when arranged beforehand. Paolo is a very friendly and helpful in everything. He is there when you need his advice or help, but also very discreet. He never complained about our kids being too loud, on the contrary, he enjoyed having them play in his garden. We highly recommend this apartment, especially for families! We really felt at home in this nice apartment, with Paolo and we will come back!
