"Cette propriété est l'emplacement d'origine du journal de la Nouvelle-Orléans, The Times-Democrat. En 1914, le journal fusionna avec The Daily Picayune, créant aujourd'hui le célèbre journal The Times Picayune. Ce condo de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain possède 1200 pieds carrés. pi. Il est situé au deuxième étage de l'immeuble, facilement accessible par ascenseur. Décoré de façon traditionnelle avec l'histoire du bâtiment à l'esprit. Nous avons "" thème "" ce condo autour de la section Divertissement du journal, il y a plusieurs pièces encadrées, datant de 1890, dans toute l'unité pour votre plaisir. It is the greatest location for coming and going to all the sight, sounds and eats there are so close to all our beloved City has to offer. We really had a fun time with the "themed" condos of all 10 of the condos, based on different sections of the newspaper in The Picayune Building, the original home to the "Times - Picayune Newspaper" from the 1880's. Thanks Raymond for the accolades of this newspaper sections, themed condo titled "Entertainment" from the Times-Picayune newspaper building used between 1890 - 1969. The location is in the middle of the City, so the reporters could get out to all the neighborhoods and communities for the stories to be published in the newspaper. These condos are not your typical, small, cramped residents in downtown New Orleans. Yes, these condos are larger than some homes, based on square footage of 1200 sqft in the downtown area is rare and so much larger than even the hotel suites. We actually had lots of fun decorating all 10 of the condos in The Picayune Building, home of the original "Times - Picayune Newspaper", where each condo's décor is "themed" based on sections of the newspaper. And why wouldn't the newspaper back in the 1880's to 1920's not be the prime location in the city to get all the latest news? Still very centrally located to all New Orleans has to offer in the way of attractions, fun and foods! Because you were for a work convention, we are sure there were things that you didn't get to make off your must see, do, eat list, so give is a call before you make reservations for that return visit to get your Return Guest Discount Promo Code. Very nice and convenient location

It is the perfect location to experience all of New Orleans from eating your way through town, which there is never enough time to do, to seeing all the sights and listening to the various places for nightly music. Beautiful condo in a great location

Beautiful old building retrofit to have everything you need for a comfortable stay! We enjoyed the location because it was walkable to everything we wanted to see, and since it was a couple of blocks away from the Bourbon Street crowd, the nights were never too loud!

The location was great; the place was fantastic and the owner was fabulous prior to our visit.

Great spot

Location was in a great spot close to bourbon but far enough away from it as well. The place was so nice and roomy def worth it for a group. We walked to bourbon and canal street everyday with no issues. Would recommend to everyone this is the place to stay.

You are correct that although a short walk over to the French Quarter, The Picayune Building is far enough away that you don't hear that all night chaos, so you can get some rest and sleep to get up and do it all over again the next day. We tried to make this a very comfortable and home like setting so if you had rain or decided to stay in for the afternoon or night, everyone would be comfortable in doing so. when you are ready to bring more friends back with you for the next visit, we also have a couple of three bedroom / 3 bath condos in the same building. This was amazing

this place was so great! The location is perfect and it’s within walking distance to downtown, the French quarter, in the warehouse district. Inside of the property is also beautiful and the amenities were great. The host was also super responsive and had some really good suggestions that were helpful for us. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Close to the French Quarter, but quiet!

This apartment was ideally situated for our vacation. The high end finishes were nice and it was convenient that coffee and creamers were supplied so that grocery shopping upon arrival wasn’t necessary. The only item I wish was included would be a box of Kleenex!

Thank you for noticing the high end touches in this historic building, full of exposed old brick, original windows and hardwood floors. Great suggestion, we usually leave a box of facial tissues in the condos, once it starts getting cooler. It stayed a lot hotter so much later this year, we just haven't ordered that shipment. After reading that again, it was good to know that with all the years of life experiences, this was a great location for you to enjoy with your friends and the elevator was a huge plus. Great property

The property is perfect for a fabulous weekend in New Orleans! I wouldn’t park in the open lot beside the building, lots of break ins. Park across the street or in enclosed parking.

Thank you Tina and friends for the 5 Star Review of "Entertainment", the themed condo from the sections of the original "Timed - Picayune Newspaper" that was originally in this building when built in 1880's. It is a great location to stay when in New Orleans for fall festivals, football, concerts, and FOOD! So glad your group had a wonderful time, yet sad that your vehicle was vandalized in one of the pay parking lots, north of the building. It is not a good feeling to walk out to load up your car on departure morning to find that. We are relieved that you didn't have to drive home in the rain, without the window. Perhaps on your next visit, you take the "City of New Orleans" train down, if that is a bucket list adventure. We would love to host you again. We do offer discounts to returning guests. Perfect location, easy walking distance to everything

The condo was perfect. Check in was super easy. Property manager was easily available. Very clean place, comfy beds. Our friends said that their box spring was squeaky but we didn’t have any issues with ours. Other than that, I’m really looking forward to coming back!

Cool, cozy, convenient!

Beautiful renovation in an historic building with great security access. We have been renting through VRBO for over a decade and this apartment is one of the coolest we have found. Soaring ceilings, beautiful brick walls, cool furnishings and those floor to ceiling windows with balcony make the great room a wonderful place to hang out! Everything seemed completely brand new, like we were the first guests. Great location from which to enjoy the city and return to a quiet, peaceful retreat.
