The Barn is detached & fully self-contained on the outskirts of the farm buildings and the Grade II listed Cotswold Farmhouse. With beautiful panoramic views of the countryside with grazing horses and Duke the resident lama (who is becoming quite famous & loves an apple and a Selfie)!
This lovingly restored and modernised Barn comes complete with two private patio areas that catch the morning and evening sun. The Kitchen is South Facing and has floor to Ceiling Patio Doors that open onto a sunny terrace. With an outdoor setting which seats 6 people.
While you will catch the morning sun on the terrace leading directly out from the Bedrooms. Which has a lovley view of pasture, horses, hills and a garden pond. If your lucky you might spot our resident Little Owls who reside in the trees nearby.
It is ideal for a break in the Wiltshire countryside throughout the seasons.
The large open plan Kitchen Dining Room affords lovely views over the farm and offers all you require for a self -catering break including an electric induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, cookware and Nespresso Coffee Machine. The dining area has a table and chairs for six.
Floor to ceiling glass windows afford stunning panoramic views of the countryside and open out directly from the kitchen onto the terrace.
A lounge area has two comfortable leather sofas and a TV providing a cosy area to settle down for the evening to enjoy a movie or two via Netflix or Amazon Prime. With an excellent and unlimited WIFI connection.
There are two bedrooms, the master has a King-size four poster pencil bed from And so to Bed in Knightsbridge Chelsea and have a comfortable nights rest on a 2000 coil spring mattress. There is also a beautiful antique wardrobe and stunning views of the countryside.
The second bedroom has a beautiful traditional period designed brass double bed with high quality Sealy Spring Coil Mattress to ensure a good nightâs sleep. Again with beautiful views.
The Bathroom is fully tiled with very large walk in Grohe Rain Shower.
Come and meet us, our dogs, horses and Resident friendly Lama Duke (in exchange for an apple he will be your friend for life)! We are sure you will love this idyllic country retreat in the heart of Wiltshire.

Ă propos de lâhĂŽte
HÎte : Katrina Forrester & Huw Evans
Hi,
Originally from Australia (Britt Parents from Stoke-on-Trent still live in OZ) my husband Huw and I stumbled across this derelict farm and just fell in love. Perhaps the massive specimen Red River Gum at the end of the driveway was a sign with the Cotswold Stone and just the warm feeling the place gave us as generations before us really put their heart and soul into the buildings and we are so lucky that all or the original buildings remain in situ. There are thirteen barns in total.
When we found her 12 years ago she was a skeleton of her former self and and we could not even see the outbuildings when we brought the place. They were covered in vines and scrap metal was all over the place.
A JCB was here for two weeks just clearing what we could not do ourselves!
So we set up home in a mobile home (for 5 years) now the mess is cleared and she is finally returning to her former beauty.
We are sure you will love the farm as much as we do and its our ambition to restore her fully and to share this wonderful place with others for generations to come.
We share the farm with a lama (Duke who loves selfies), a shetland, horses and 4 dogs.
Look forward to meeting you, Best Katrina
