Nous sommes situés dans une communauté calme bordée d'arbres. Commerces et restaurants sont accessibles à pied. Locations courtes et prolongées pour les voyageurs d'affaires ou ceux qui déménagent. À quelques minutes de l'historique Chadds Ford et de la pittoresque vallée de Brandywine, prévoyez de visiter notre Wine & Ale Trail, de parcourir nos voies vertes ou de découvrir les nombreux châteaux duPont avec leurs magnifiques jardins et jardins. Bien que la suite soit connectée au reste de la maison, une porte verrouillée vous offre une intimité constante. This suite was easy to find very welcoming. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail.Greeted with everything you need for a comfortable stay, we appreciated the hard cooked eggs and homemade muffins for breakfast. Coffee and tea too. There is a welcome binder explaining the steps used to clean between stays. Terrific! Also in the binder you will find the history of Brandywine Valley as well as sightseeing information. We would highly recommend this suite and definitely stay again.Thankyou Don and Cheryl for a wonderful stay.

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed as a solo traveler, and I can see it’s ideal for a couple as well. Top marks all around! Nicely appointed and roomy suite in a beautiful neighborhood where I enjoyed walking in open greenery and to nearby shopping. I’ve never felt more “at home” on the road.

We loved our stay here. Cheryl and Don are gracious hosts and left special touches like muffins and hard boiled eggs for our first breakfast. The area was located in a great area with easy access to many great historic sites. I would love to stay here again and do another visit to the Longwood Gardens.

We had a wonderful stay at this property while attending the University of Delaware football game. The drive to the stadium was about 20 minutes with traffic, which was very convenient. The hosts were AMAZING and incredibly accommodating, making our visit smooth and comfortable. The location is excellent, with outstanding restaurants, a movie theater, and a mall just minutes away. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Wilmington area!

Delaware has always been home to Cheryl. Her adventuresome spirit though is quick to lead her off the beaten path. Whenever opportunity arises, she is ready to go. She readily keeps a small bag packed with the bare essentials at all times. Cheryl has always juggled her love for the water with her love for the mountains. As an active member of Fleet 106 for many years, she crewed for HOBIE 16's and 18's in regattas up and down the east coast and on the national circuit. Her love for alpine skiing lead her to becoming a ski coach and instructor for 12 years in Killington, VT. Cheryl is always dishing up some of her fantastic gourmet recipes for her family and friends and eagerly shares her tried and true techniques with anyone willing to share a glass of good wine and stay in the kitchen with her as her sous chef. Her love of fine food and teaching lead her to enrolling in cooking school and eventually teaching and directing her own school, La Chapelle. Cheryl's professional background is in Nursing with a focus in Pediatrics and Home Health Care. She is outgoing, engaging and comfortable with all kinds of people and looks forward to sharing her interests and home with you.
Don's passion for music lead him to a career in Music Education. He served in the Delaware National Guard 287th Army Band for 6 years. As an accomplished jazz musician, he was asked to lead the Brandywine Blazer Jazz Band and accompanied them on a good will tour through central Europe. Over the years he has had the privilege of performing in many nationally known big bands, the likes of Bob Crosby, Guy Lombardo and Tex Beneke, the original Glenn Miller Band. Don loves a good conversation, gardening and live theatre.We enjoy sharing our home with others and meeting new people. As lifelong residents of the area, we can provide you with suggestions for "what to see & where to go" while you enjoy your stay in our home.
