perfect location

Great location. Property was very clean and we had an easy check-in. The restaurant next door was wonderful. Family owned, homemade pastas and the raviolis were superb.Would stay here again.

The place was great, the location was the best,we got to take our clothes to wash right across from our stay, the people are so friendly, truly a great location! Communication with Simona and the owner was superb! Only negative is the shower is very small. I am of decent size so was okay, my husband struggled a bit. I would definitely stay there again, but maybe my husband would say no because of the shower.

Perfect for anyone that wants to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Rome! Not super touristy which is nice! Clean!!! Good communication with owner! Overall would stay there again!

My husband and I loved our stay here! The host was very responsive, the check in process was incredibly quick and easy, and the location was perfect! The apartment is small, but perfect for two people!

Perfect Spot and Nice space

More space than your typical hotel room, and you’re in the heart of Trastevere. Seconds from restaurants, shops, etc. and the ancient sites are very accessible from here. Bathroom is a little tight but that’s what you get in Europe. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again for sure!

Wonderful Stay, Great Location

We had a wonderful stay. The home is near a lot of lively shops and great places to eat. It is also very close to public transportation so you can catch a bus real easy. The home was spacious and well laid out with plenty of room for both of us. The bed was comfortable, and there were even a few Power converters to US.

Lived like a local...

It was such a great location to meander around and explore all Big T has to offer. The apt felt safe & had a great bed and plenty of hot water. And coffee pods!

Highly recommend. We were met at the door and shown around the apartment. One step up from the street and one step in the hallway up to the door. Great AC, shower has very good water pressure, amazing restaurants everywhere. The pasta place next door is delicious and friendly staff. Very easy to walk around and find local spots. The area gets very busy at night but the vibe is great. We felt safe the whole time. Would definitely return.

The apartment is located in a more working-class neighborhood, behind a college/school, so expect to see tons of graffiti on the walls outside. That is not an indicator of the safety of the neighborhood at all though, as we spent our evenings walking around and exploring shops and restaurants without fear or any sense of danger. The apartment itself is cozy, with two rooms (a bedroom and a living room with a pull-out bed in the couch). The hot water is instant and it lasts a while, and there is a washing machine in the kitchen under the sink. The shower is a little tight to enter, so if you have a larger body shape this may not work for you. The bed is firm and comfortable, and the heating is effective.

Great location and price

We had a bumpy start in Rome with a taxi scam and accessing the apartment with 2 large suitcases wheeled over bumpy streets, but once inside, it was super clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful , explaining the washing machine and even providing some food and drinks. I can't recommend this place enough!

Clean and comfortable

This apartment reminded me of the whitewashed houses in Mykonos, which i just came from! All amenities were provided, the aircon worked well, hot water shower was great too. The communications, checkin and checkout processes were smooth. Highly recommend.

Above and Beyond

We loved the flat! It was the perfect location and the owners are super accommodating and went above and beyond for us. Family run VRBO and worked great for our 8 year old and the two of us. Plenty of hot water and even had coffee for us. We were worried about luggage storage and they triple checked on it for us! Couldn’t ask for more. We will book again if in the area!

Cosy Apartment in Trastevere

The property was great, we appreciated the ground floor although there was a lift, not sure if it worked. My husband and I stayed for ten days, there was a mid week clean. The bed and pull out couch were comfortable. It was nice to have a washing machine, iron and blow dryer. Very centrally located in Trastevere. It could get a little loud on Friday and Saturday nights. Maria arranged our pickup for the airport as we had to be there by 4:00 am. I highly recommend this apartment.

Good communication w/Maria prior to our 3 night stay. Met by Marianna her assistant upon arrival & she was very helpful. Gave us nice suggestions for meals in the area. The apt was clean & spacious, but the corner shower was EXTREMELY small. Only 14" opening to enter. I let Marianna know the 1st. day that it would not work for me, a 240lb man. She said they had no other flats to move us to. I had to squeeze into it & scarped front & back. I told her I was afraid the sliding doors would break. She said she called Maria, but she did not answer & that she would get back to me in the morning. No return call or text from Maria. Tried to call them on day 2...Never heard from either of again. Very disappointed that no help or compensation was provided by Maria. Would not recommend for this reason.

Land of a Thousand Restaurants

This was a one-bedroom, small apartment on the ground floor in a neighborhood handy to about a thousand wonderful Trastevere restaurants. My husband and I were there for only two nights so were unable to dine in all thousand. ;-] Communication was excellent. The hosts were very accommodating: Maria kindly set us up with early entry as we were walking from another VRBO near Piazza Navona [we deposited our luggage and vacated the premises while the cleaning crew worked] and Carlo met us at the apartment to share his many words of wisdom about Rome and the area. Maria arranged for a driver to transport us to the FCO airport. As shown in the photos: the apartment was very clean; it is well-lit with bright lights in all rooms but there is little natural light; The kitchen table is tiny but there is plenty of "stretch out" room in the living room. I would think it would be tight for two couples, more manageable for one couple + one adult, and doable for a family with young children.

Terrific Trastavere

Everything about this stay was very good. Firstly - the location was excellent - next to and in the midst of wonderful restaurants and bars - we have visited Rome previously but stayed on the other side of the Tiber. We would definitely come back to this place! The drop off location for taxis, hired rides, etc was within 1/2 block, so a short walk with luggage to the front door. Simona met us at our ride and led us into the apartment and gave us a very thorough walk through. The apartment was well laid out with lots of storage space for clothes, luggage, etc. The A/C worked well. The mattress was a bit soft for our liking, but was still comfortable. The kitchen was functional and included a small washing machine. However if you preferred to utilize a laundromat there was one across the street that returned your cleaned and folded clothes the same day! The Wifi worked well. The best part about the apartment was the owner, Maria! She was so quickly responsive to all of our questions, requests, etc. Nothing was too small or big for her. Definitely a great apartment and location, and a fabulous owner!

A propos de l'appartement, il était comme imaginé mais avec 2 bémols - aucune insonorisation par rapport à la rue et les voisins, - manque d'aération Sinon dans l'ensemble très correct. Je revenais au Trastevere pour la seconde fois.
