Overall our experience was seamless from beginning to end. Communication and having all our questions answered(we were a group of 3 couples) were greatly appreciated from the beginning. The house is spotless, comfortable, modern yet cottage authentic. The backyard patio and gardens were a beautiful way to start and end the day. You CANNOT beat the location. WOW!!! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and you are in the heart of the town. It was a highlight of the trip for sure!

Lovely property ideal for our needs

Stayed here as a group of mixed couples and singles for a wedding the local area. Absolutely stunning property that had everything we needed and more. Lovely area and lots nearby. Hosts were very communicative and we were extremely grateful for the late checkout! Small things like that really made the difference. All in all would recommend.

Cross Keys Cottage autumn weekender

We had a wonderful stay at Cross Keys Cottage. The house has a lovely well equipped kitchen and plenty of comfy sofas to lounge around on. With Stow on the Wold literally on the doorstep, the location is perfect too.

Great place

Excellent location & accommodation for our 4 generations. The bedroom on the ground floor was especially good for the 89 year old who doesn’t like stairs. Whole downstairs area great for different people doing different things (although a second TV would be helpful for those who didn’t want to watch the sport!)

A lovely cottage in the heart of Stow, with plenty of room for sleeping, living and dining.

This cottage is ideal for a family gathering, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and lots of space in the well equipped kitchen and comfortable living areas. I can absolutely recommend using the Old Butchers restaurant next door, which provided an excellent dinner served in the house itself.

Fabulous house in the middle of gorgeous town

This is the third time we have stayed here - the house is very spacious and perfectly situated in the middle of Stow so lots of lovely shops and also easy to walk in beautiful countryside. A great bonus is being next door to the delicious Old Butchers restaurant. Louise is very responsive to any questions and we are already looking forward to next year!

Wonderful stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cross Keys Cottage. We loved everything about the house - the space worked perfectly for our family group ages 2 - 78. We loved all the little touches and care that had obviously gone into making it a fabulous holiday let.

Cross Keys Cottage

Fabulous property. I booked this for a family weekend to celebrate my daughters 21st. The cottage is deceptively large with a great kitchen area for a family party. The lounge large enough for us all to sit together to nurse our hangovers. Well appointed, comfortable, no issues parking over the bank holiday. Louise was helpful in arranging birthday balloons via Cotswold Balloon Co. I would recommend 100%, great stay. Thank you!

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location

My family and I absolutely loved this beautiful cottage. It was warm, very comfortable, relaxing and in a great location. The standard of everything was excellent, we wanted for nothing and the beds were super comfy. It was a perfect stay to celebrate my birthday, we couldn’t have wished for anything more. StayCotswold offered an excellent service and were super helpful in the run-up to our stay and Louise was so obliging and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough.

The best weekend

The cottage was beautiful. We booked it for the entire family to stay for our wedding weekend. The cottage is more than big enough to sleep 9 adults and 4 children. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The entire home is well laid out, has everything you need and very cosy on a wet winters day when we all sat in front of the fire. Highly recommend and cannot wait to book to stay again!

Wonderful cottage for a family reunion

We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at Cross Keys Cottage. The house is centrally located, surprisingly spacious, and well maintained, with very comfortable beds! The owners were gracious enough to extend our check out at no cost to allow us time for a lazy lunch. Highly recommended.

The perfect Cotswolds cottage.

The pictures do not do Cross Keys cottage justice. The place is stunning! If you’re looking for a comfortable retreat for a large family or group, I could not recommend it highly enough. The location is also perfect, right in the middle of one of the prettiest towns in the Cotswolds, surrounded by walks, pubs, shops and so much more. We had the perfect long weekend away.

Party celebrations

We had the most wonderful stay at Cross Keys Cottage celebrating my 80th birthday. The cottage is very well equipped and in an excellent position. We were all very sad to leave and we had the most beautiful weather which enabled us to sit in the garden which is beautiful.
