Chateau Merlot est une maison de vacances spacieuse et confortable idĂ©ale pour plusieurs familles ou de grands groupes. Il offre 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains au niveau principal et 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain au niveau infĂ©rieur. Le niveau principal est Ă  couper le souffle avec des fenĂȘtres du sol au plafond et une cuisine ouverte, salle Ă  manger et salon, 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains pleine grandeur. Le salon dispose d'une magnifique cheminĂ©e en briques en bois, des siĂšges confortables et un ensemble de portes-fenĂȘtres qui s'ouvrent sur le vaste palier enveloppant avec une grille Ă  gaz et un ensemble de patio. Le niveau infĂ©rieur a une salle familiale spacieuse avec une cheminĂ©e Ă  gaz qui ouvre sur une autre cuisine complĂšte. Le niveau infĂ©rieur dispose Ă©galement d'une laveuse et sĂ©cheuse, une salle de bain Ă  remous, baby-foot, 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain complĂšte et un grand vestiaire de la salle de sĂ©jour parfaite pour enlever tout ce matĂ©riel de ski / snowboard. Cette unitĂ© a l'air central et une zone extĂ©rieure de foyer. WIFI est disponible partout et les chiens ne sont pas autorisĂ©s. Le ChĂąteau Merlot est situĂ© Ă  4 pĂątĂ©s de maisons du lodge de ski principal.

We had a very nice week with family. Great location, with many things to do within an hour drive. We enjoyed several nights by the fire and breakfasts on the deck. Very close to Ironwood making it easy to get supplies when we needed.

Great Place for famiies or group of Friends

We had a fantastic stay at Chateau Merlot. Absolutely Loved having a large space for our group to hang out with a REAL Fireplace, sauna was way better than we anticipated. It was the perfect place to relax after skiing at big powderhorn.

Another Great Weekend!

This was the third winter we've had a group up to BPLA for a ski weekend, all three places we've stayed so far have been great but Chateau Merlot definitely takes the cake! Very cozy, lots of space for our group to unwind after a day on the slopes. The sauna was phenomenal!

Great Labor Day Weekend!

I give Chateau Merlot 5 stars, and you will see real stars at night sitting at the bon fire! We lucked out with the weather, but if we had to stay in the place was clean and has such a friendly atmosphere.. My friends and I are planning to come back next year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Great friends weekend

We had a great weekend with a group of friends. There were 9 of us, but could have comfortably fit more people. The kitchens were fully stocked and had all we needed for the weekend. We would highly recommend this house and hope to come back again next year!

Girls Trip

Chateau Merlot This chateau is amazing and exactly as described. Very spacious yet cozy. We’re repeat renters. We stayed 5 days. It’s summertime and had perfect weather. We enjoyed the wonderful deck every day. Enough tables and chairs for our whole group to sit & relax, play games, share meals, fresh air and just enjoy nature! Great view from inside. It’s very accommodating, clean and comfortable. Open concept for the kitchen, dining area and living room. Great for keeping the conversations going. Kitchen was fully stocked, had everything we needed for cooking, serving and eating. Main level has 3 bedrooms, comfy beds and 2 full bathrooms lessen any wait time. Only regret was not making time to use the new sauna. Although July isn’t skiing season, there were many activities available to us. The chateau is also not far from Lake Superior and many breathtaking waterfalls. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Family Ski Trip

We came to the UP to ski but unfortunately there was very little snow on the ski hills. But no worries there was plenty to do between exploring the many waterfalls just down the road to gathering around the fireplace at the Chateau to play games and watch movies. The house has so much space that our group of 12 was never crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and cookware. But the amount of cookware & bowls could be down sized and better organized. The only issues we encountered were the extra plates we grabbed from the downstairs kitchen were dirty and we couldn’t get the tv to work beyond spectrum channels. Better Instructions would be helpful. We ended up just casting to use the apps off an iPhone to watch movies. We were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas tree & great decorations!! Loved our time here! We will be back! P.S the laminated guide for the area was fantastic!

Nice location to relax

Peaceful and in a wooded area. There was no kettle to boil water for hot chocolate/tea. Enjoyed being able to eat outside on the deck when the weather was nice.
