This property was amazing and my family loved it! It's beautiful and let's you have that rainforest nature feel, but still so close to the city. The host was great and very responsive to any questions. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The property was beautiful. It truly offered indoor/outdoor living. We felt like we were in the rain forest. The host was very responsive and helpful with coordinating excursions. The property grounds keeper even helped us squeeze sugar cane for natural sugar cane juice.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was right in town but felt secluded. The pool was so nice. We could see monkeys from the pool deck. We also saw frogs, parrots, toucans, hummingbirds. The bedrooms are sparse, but just fine for sleeping and bathing. Everyone had their own bathroom. The living area and kitchen are entirely outdoors on the covered patio, which was a cool experience. There were only 5 of us this time, but this property could comfortably hold 10-14 people, so great for an extended family or group of friends. We hope to come back soon!

Great location, easy to get to our tours. Rebecca communicates right away and helped up with whatever arrangements we needed. House was fun for our group of 10 family members, together space but private space too. Huge benefit to have a washer/dryer as well.

Wow!! This is the coolest vrbo I've ever stayed at! It's like having a hotel/compound entirely to yourself! When you're in the common areas, you feel a bit like you're in a treehouse with all the foliage around. The rooms were all spacious with good A/C. We loved the sweet animals on the property as well :) This place is an exceptional value as well -- I would recommend it to any group!

Amazing Property!! Couldn't ask for a better location to La Fortuna (5 minute drive) and proximity to tours and river activities. Beautiful pool, saw lizards, birds, and monkeys from the pool. Property is unique with all living spaces being outside with the exception of bedrooms. They do a great job of keeping bugs away. Highly recommend you stay here.

Magical stay in the rainforest

The house was amazing, way better than what it looks like online. The hosts were very accommodating and took really good care of all of our needs. The location is great, really close to everything you would want to see in the area but very private. It was the perfect home for our family.

Absolutely stunning place!

We loved our stay at Arenal River Place. The house is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. The river provides a tranquil sound bath the whole time. The pool was delightful and a great size. Three nights was too short.

Me alegra muchísimo leer tu reseña 😊.

We loved every minute of our stay. The house seems like a wonderful tree house next to a beautiful river. We liked the casual vibe. The kids loved the pool and all the wildlife. The location was very convenient, yet very peaceful. Perhaps the best part was Rebeca. She couldn’t have been more gracious and patient. If we are lucky enough to come back to La Fortuna, we will stay at this house again.

Absolutely an immaculate place. Location, the cleanliness, the whole outdoor closeness to the river . Hearing the nearby animals at night. The sound of the river. The rain falling on the roof of our rooms. Everything was exceptional. The Host was perfect! Her communication was outstanding. Perfect for group of family and or friends. We celebrated with a private chef dinner right on site! Swimming pool was relaxing after a long day of excursions. Would recommend to everyone.

Very very cool house. A little difficult to navigate finding the house (originally sent wrong address) and finding the keys for the rooms (each bedroom has an individual key). Host was able to answer all questions promptly.

This place is even bigger than the pictures make it look! The kitchen and bar are on the first floor. Plus, the river flows right along the property, just a few steps away, which makes for some amazing, peaceful sleeping with the sounds of the river and nature. We were so happy to have a washer and dryer, especially since we ended up doing laundry every day.The directions the host sent were spot-on. They were easy to follow and helped us get the keys quickly. We use Google Maps to find the place. The showers were huge, with great water pressure and hot water. The property was in a fantastic spot. It was far enough from town that we felt like we were in the country, living in a treehouse, but close enough that we didn’t have to worry about driving back if we forgot something. The host was super responsive if we had any questions or concerns.I’d definitely stay here again if we ever come back to La Fortuna.

Would not recommend. Property in disrepair - we had the toilet fixed three times and were only there 6 nights. Property was dirty and didn't want to use the kitchen. Trash never removed or anyplace to put it. Master bedroom had no furniture, so you put everything on the floor. Property is shared by others and felt unsafe; because the gate was always unlocked in a challenging neighborhood. This property is basically a campsite with an adjoining farm; so you get the sounds and smell of the farm throughout the day. Not someplace you want to take your wife/family - especially for the price.

The property is rented to a single guest, so it is not shared, all rooms have bedside tables, lamps and closet, I do not know why you lie saying that the rooms have no furniture, although they were 4 people, they had at their disposal 4 bathrooms, if one of them gave problems there were others that they could use, the problem was in the internal part of the toilet, every time you indicated me it was immediately sent to repair, I find it very unfair to lie in your review only in order to damage an accommodation, I do not recommend this guest to any host as it can lie about the accommodation.
