Great Stay

We loved everything about this property, the village location and the very easy access to lovely Cotswold locations. A wonderful week away which we do as three couples each year in May. The local community shop/cafe is fabulous and the property owner was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing stay in the Cotswolds

First time in the Cotswolds and we couldn’t have stayed at a better place, lovely and clean. Everything was perfect and communication was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

Group of 8 friends came for a long weekend, absolutely beautiful house in a lovely village, warm and comfortable, extremely well equipped. Very comfortable beds and fantastic showers! Village is really great, such friendly people and two nice pubs, fabulous community shop and cafe, will definitely stay again and would highly recommend

A wonderfully comfortable stay in this lovely village.

What a special Cotswolds property in this pretty and welcoming village. High spec, with every need thought about and catered for. Beautiful garden. We all enjoyed our time here at this exceptional property and would happily rebook. Hopefully avoid the stormy weather next time but the wood-burning stove made it cosy and comfortable. Excellent communication from the outset.

First class Cottage

The cottage was perfect - comfortable, clean, warm, well equipped with plenty of parking for 3 cars off the road, we all agreed it was the best cottage we have stayed in as a group of 5, thank you Oli and Jeremy.

Delightful cottage

Gardners Cottage was a perfect setting for our long weekend stay with friends and two dogs. The accommodation is five star and the village of Ilmington has two excellent pubs within walking distance. There is a lovely stroll around the village and the community café and shop are wonderful facilities. Lots to do close at hand for the more adventurous but we were happy to enjoy the cottage and the garden. Great service when a swarm of bees arrived and the team sorted everything out quickly.

Family weekend stay.

Gardeners cottage is beautiful and is of a very high standard. We have a wonderful family weekend there and our grandsons loved the garden and meeting the owner and his dog. We hope to return to this wonderful place in a quiet village with superb amenities.

Great place for a break away

Family gathering

A pre Christmas break

We had a brilliant stay at Gardners cottage. It was very comfortable throughout and had a very well equipped kitchen. A very welcoming environment. The village is very pretty with Two good pubs and a very handy village shop and coffee shop. We will definitely return!

Fabulous cottage in the most beautiful area.

We have just had the most amazing stay at gardeners cottage, its such a wonderful place. The house is equipped to a very high standard, and the kitchen has everything a cook needs and more ! The area is delightful, and walking distance to two great pubs, both serving good food. The local community shop has more in than Tesco !! And lovely friendly staff too. All in all a great place to relax and recharge.

Beautifully renovated cottage in an ideal location. Bedrooms all very comfortable and the kitchen was a perfect social space for our family reunion. The village shop and cafe just a short walk away are well worth a visit. Highly recommended - hope to book again in the future.

An ideal holiday home in a picture-perfect setting.

We were looking for a holiday home for a long weekend in the Cotswolds for four school friends (plus husbands). What a wonderful find Gardners Cottage turned out to be! The property was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. Ilmington itself is a beautiful village, with a friendly & well stocked community shop. We had lovely meals in the village pubs (the Red Lion & Howard Arms), both of which which are conveniently within walking distance of the house. We explored the gardens at HIdcote & enjoyed walks along local footpaths, taking in the wonderful views. Thank you for enabling us to have a such a great reunion.
