Professionally designed new unit at Kiahuna plantation with A/C.

This was not even our original booking .Guest booked with friend of ours that could not accommodate this stay and asked us for favor to discount 30% our rate and let this guest check in without even payment being made due to delay on VRBO refund on original booking . We allowed that and received payment several days after guest checked in just to ensure his family vacation plans were not messed up. Unit that was booked is way below our category and none of Kiahuna condos have A/C so we are not sure what guest expected when he originally booked .

I am glad you had good time . We used to keep boogie board and snorkeling gears with beach chairs on one unit and it was very hard to keep unit clean . Also renters were leaving broken boards and dirty chairs what caused another guests to complain . We do not live full time on Kauai that we can inspect between guests and it was very hard to keep everyone pleased so we decided most important is to keep unit very clean . I am so sorry that you had bad experience . We can't control other guests but if they were noisy or smoking ( its a smoke free resort ) you should call front desk and bring that to their attention . Its first time that anyone complained but I do believe some guests are loud and over board with partying . Again you should let front desk know and they would take care of that . Also they did not let us know that you left early . They manage over 300 units and I will bring to their attention its important to pass any feedback . They manage 3 units for us and so far you are first guest with bad experience . I did send you url from Kauai visitor web site with tips . I do not live on Kauai and I am visitor myself , that web site is pretty useful to other guests if they are coming first time . Our unit is voted as nicest in Kiahuna plantation on multiple realtor tours and I am very sorry you could not enjoy due to issues with other guests . Some people don't understand that they should let others enjoy and its something that I will address with management . We stay away of giving too much instructions simple due condo being in condo hotel resort and at time you are checking in front desk gives you all necessary information's. Our response time is usually instantly when we receive email with actual question . You should also let us know that you are leaving early and you are having any kind of issues . We know very well everyone at that resort and if we knew we would call them directly to be sure anyone who is not complaining with house rules is taken off the property .
