Unique Ives Woods Home ~ Distance Ă  pied de la grande maison

Notre maison a Ă©tĂ© construite en 1921 pour le prĂ©sident de l'U of M. C'est une belle propriĂ©tĂ© nichĂ©e dans les bois au large d'une voie Ă  paroi en pierre. Nous avons de grands espaces intĂ©rieurs et extĂ©rieurs pour la collecte en famille ou entre amis. TrĂšs bien situĂ© pour les week-ends de football. Promenez-vous dans notre quartier calme bordĂ© d’arbres jusqu’à la grande maison.

Nous proposons également notre maison pour d'autres événements spéciaux tels que les vacances et les formations. Nous sommes heureux de discuter des locations à plus long terme si nécessaire

We were in town for a concert at the Big House and needed a place that could sleep 6 and was close enough we could walk after the show. This house was perfect for us. It is a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood and was a little more than a mile walk. Highly recommended if you need a place for a family to stay. The owners were extremely friendly and communicative.

Charming house with plenty of spread out spaces for family reunion conversations. The spaces include places for adults and children to do their own thing. Easy access of UM campus and downtown Ann Arbor. In fact, easy access to the best parts of the entire city.

Amazing home in beautiful neighborhood

Beautiful classic residence in a lovely part of Ann Arbor. Plenty of room for entertaining, including spacious outdoor seating areas, gardens, and lawns. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous property

Visited Ann Arbor to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from law school. Were delighted to be able to book this house—it was stunning, and also so roomy for our three other teens. Beautifully furnished, comfortable, with everything we needed. Great location to get to everything we needed easily. Owners were totally accessible and provided great check in & check out instructions.

Beautiful but old home in excellent location/neighborhood. Unfortunately there was a bird flying around inside the house when we got there. It had been there awhile. House was not as clean as it should have been. Evidence of mice and ants in several places. But the heating and hot water/pressure was great. We managed but were surprised it did not meet our expectations.

Awesome place!

We loved our stay for a family wedding. The grounds were awesome for outdoor dining and the kitchen was well appointed as well. The owner was very responsible since as well!

Elegant home, great location

We certainly enjoyed staying in this beautiful, historic home. It is easy walking distance to campus, restaurants and shopping. Our group of friends like to cook when we get together, and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved our visit to A2!

Picturesque Reunion Weekend

The Ives Woods home was stunning and comfortably hosted or group of 8. We were in town for a sorority reunion and football game. The house and location truly made it the perfect fall weekend in Michigan. The home itself and location greatly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for any groups taking a trip to Ann Arbor. Extraordinary experience in Ann Arbor

What a beautiful location!! We love the wooded area and welcoming neighborhood. While we felt completely nestled away from it all when we were in the home or the gorgeous backyard, we were just steps away from lovely walks, other beautiful homes, and easy access to the rest of Ann Arbor. The hosts were super responsive, and the spot was ideal!

Summary is nice neighborhood and house size and close to Ann Arbor activities. The house needs updating, declutterring, another real size bathroom and a deep cleaning.

Perfect short stay for wedding weekend

We stayed at this lovely home for a weekend in August 2021 for a wedding. It is indeed a historic home, so you have to expect and appreciate some vintage charm! It has been nicely updated and taken care of. Lots of space for the family to hang out and relax, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Kids loved the big woodsy yard and the sunroom that was stocked with books and games. Very nice neighborhood a short drive from downtown AA.

This is hands down the best luxury rental in Ann Arbor. House & pictures speak for themselves & it is just a fantastic set up. Last time we stayed is was a cold and gray March but this visit in October was just beautiful & we got to enjoy the outside too. John & Tess are great hosts & be sure to shop at V2V, as you will love Tess' boutique! Thank you Dillons

A wonderful place to gather with family and friends

We stayed here with extended family and friends for our daughter's medical school graduation. The house is amazing. It's got the charm and comfort of a grand old house with all the amenities one would want. There are lots of different rooms to gather in. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. My grandson loved the basketball net and ping pong table. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely outdoor patio. Tes was a great host, checking in on us periodically and quickly responding to any questions.

The front door lock doesn’t work and you can. It lock the house up at all. Many of the lights were.

Wonderful family gathering place

Our family gathered for a weekend of memorials for my parents who had recently passed away. 10 of us slept at the house but there were about 15 more who joined us for drinks and meals. The house has many living rooms and outdoor spaces that create a great flow and are very conducive to conversation. The house has been beautifully restored and was fully stocked with all of the dishes, wine glasses, sheets and towels that we needed. We were too busy to take full advantage of the ping pong and pool table. It was a memorable weekend for our extended family in a beautiful house .

Great for outdoor entertaining

SO many living spaces to enjoy, glassed in sunrooms, pool table room, cosy TV room, spacious living room. All relaxed and comfortable, and really stylish. The outdoor space was terrific for us to host a BBQ with daughter and her roommates post graduation. We were able to find all manner of serving implements for all the food in the well-stocked kitchen. House has the most enormous refridgerator I've ever seen. Like most rentals, the (quite high quality) kitchen knives were not quite to our standards of sharpness (Perhaps make a knife sharpener available?). Tes checked in to ensure our arrival and made herself available for any questions during our stay. Overall a great experience.
