Beach Bliss

Our stay at the condo was wonderful. The view was fantastic from the 14th floor. The condo was roomy for the eight of us. It was beautifully decorated! We had one little hiccup with a clogged shower drain that was fixed the next day. I was impressed that I even received a call from Aqua to make sure the issue was resolved. Being on the 14th floor I was concerned about the elevator wait time. The elevators were fast, especially for us staying during peak season. We never had a long wait time. The pool areas were beautiful. All in all, the Aqua condo complex had everything we needed and we would love to stay there again should we ever visit Panama City Beach.

The only problem we had was some of the remotes to the tv's did not work properly. We did not watch much tv so that was ok with us.

Having 2 masters facing the beach is rare and this condo has them! There is lots of seating and a large dining room for entertaining. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could want with a large washer dryer unit. New patio furniture makes for great relaxing and overlooking the beach. As always, the staff is helpful and responsive to any questions or needs.

The condo was clean to my standards and I am very peculiar when it comes to this so cleaning service gets five stars! The view was amazing to sum it up a little slice of paradise! These two things alone will always bring me back to this condo. Three full bathrooms all were upgraded and nice and clean.Towels were fresh and clean no hairs embedded in them something you typically see in resorts and hotel's. Let's talk about the things that could use some improvement the furniture could be upgraded living room and bedrooms. Living room furniture sinks really low when sitting. The beds in the rooms are shaky the sheets were clean but a quilt or comforter would be nice sheets were really thin but clean and appeared new.There were some comforters on shelf but smelled like they had been packed up awhile.This condo could use some touch up paint as well! The management team was great upon arriving they advised me the sofabed was inoperable. I was given a discount on my stay and they fixed the problem the next day which was awsome five stars to them! Overall the things that was most important to me was five star rating cleanliness, no bugs and great customer service!

Aqua room 1402 was the greatest.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at many Condo’s on our vacations & Aqua room 1402 was the greatest Condo we have ever stayed at. It was beautiful, very spacious, the amenities were great. We got a chance to meet the owners & they were very nice. We have stayed along many beaches on our vacations & West Panama City Beach is the best. We have stayed at the Aqua for the last 6 years & fine there is no better place. Even on weeks of high occupancy the beach is not over crowded. Even though the parking garage is across the street, the inclosed climate controlled walkway is great to get back & forth. We can’t say enough about the Staff at the Aqua, they are just great. If anything pops up they take care of it quickly & keep you informed of the progress. The Staff makes you feel welcome & that they care about your stay. Special thanks for a job well done go out to the Front Desk Staff, Heather & Robin, The Maintenance Staff, Dennis & Chris, & to the Head of House Cleaning, Dana. They all made our stay a great one. The location is right next to a out door mall & pier that is in easy walking distance. There is every kind of store, shop, restaurant or entertainment area. Walking out on the pier is great & it’s lots of fun to look down in the clear water & see many types of aquatic fish. Also watching people catch fish or renting fishing equipment & do it yourself. Ok, don’t take our word for it, just book a stay & you won’t regret it.

Aqua Unit 1402 May 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and location were great. Could use a ramp/handicap access to the beach from the pool deck. Our unit, 1402, had many maintenance issues. The electrical issues were a major concern - plug plates not screwed in, blown fuses, some plugs just did not work, dishwasher was not screwed to the counter top so if you were not careful, it would tip onto your toes, the door from master to the patio did not latch at all and would sometimes blow open. These were the major issues. Kitchen utensils, pans etc. were gross! We bought our own from Walmart to cook. Also, security failed to resolve an issue we had one night. Called the front desk the next morning and was told there was nothing they could do since they did not manage the property where the guest played booming lout music until after 1 am.

We know we are in Florida and on a wonderful beach but the floors were sandy and we needed to vacuum and mop. We were disappointed that there were no smart TV’s and cable channels were very minimal. The staff was excellent in taking care of any concerns we had. Thanks Robin and Beverly for a wonderful time. We will be back next year!

Reviewer Comments: This was our second year staying at aqua because we love the location and atmosphere, but I was disappointed in the cleanliness of our room this year. I don't think the floor had ever been mopped and the living room rug was covered in stains. We had to wear shoes/socks inside the condo the whole week. Other than that we loved it.

Beach Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was amazing and exactly as described. Awesome view, very clean. However the resort was not as luxurious as described. Hallways and elevators had a bit of a rundown feel. Pool area outside was nice but inside left was kind of dark and dingy. The worst thing though was the elevator fiasco. Two elevators were broken so there were only two elevators operating for a 23 floor condo. It was truly ridiculous. Apparently the problem was parts but also rumor has it they’ve been out for a month. This left people waiting for hours and crowding into elevators. My wife has now tested positive for Covid and we are very careful so I’m pretty convinced she got it from the crowded body to body elevators. If you aren’t going to fix the elevators you should at least require masks.
