Tampa Waterfront

We had a great time on this vacation! The communication with Christine and Walter was excellent, close to the airport (but never heard any planes), heated pool was a treat, bed was comfortable. The on site Big Bamboo Bayside served up delicious food and beverages! Beautiful sunset views from poolside or the beach side. We’d definitely come back again!

Sailport is Great

Enjoyed our stay, pool is heated and the food at the the Big Bamboo pool bar was very good. The only thing missing would be to have extra towels and sheets to allow us to change stuff since we stayed two weeks.

Tampa for YAGP

We were in town for a dance performance. The condo was quaint and stocked and cute and exactly what we needed for sleeping and eating while on the run. The location is convenient to stores and beaches and restaurants. And the resort itself was nice with a work out area, volley ball net, fire pits, pool and restaurant/bar. Everything we needed and more than we wanted was all right there!

Comfortable Short Stay

I had surgery in Tampa and this condo was 5 miles from the hospital. Good restaurants were close by. The unit is up one flight of stairs right at the elevator so very easy to get to. The giveback is that the view is not very good since you are so far back from the water. The owner gets a 10/10 for communication. The bed was super comfy! If I was to give one thing to change, it would be a more modern TV or better cable TV. We could not get Netflicks and reminded how bad TV can be. Other than that, great stay.

Resort heaven

This place was perfect. It has everything you need from the pool to the view to the bar/restaurant next to the pool. Great food and drinks!! The other side of the condo has a volleyball court, picnic area and great seating to watch the water. The condo itself is first class and very clean. We were welcomed with a wonderful bottle of red wine that was a plus for my birthday weekend!! The kids loved the deck of cards to entertain them at night. They even had a first aid kit that came in handy!! Christine does an excellent job making sure you have all the comfort of home! Thank you! We will be back very soon!!

Very Impressed

Loved my quick get away, the condo was accessible, right in the front. Be aware of late noises if you’re looking for a completely quiet spot, it was not bad at all but again I’m use to it. Only thing was the shower did not have hot water, it wasn’t freezing but it never got hot. We weren’t bothered by it because it was so hot outside, it was nice to have a refreshing shower. Overall amazing place to stay, next to everything, pool is small get there early, food at the bar is amazinggggg!!

Relaxing after a work week

My husband and I stayed at Sailport for a long weekend after I attended a conference in Tampa area. The facility has security and a 24 hour front desk. It was clean and well maintained. The beach bar was a welcome after an evening arrival. Light fare and cocktails made for a relaxed first night. There was a convenience shop in the reception area that also allowed us to pick up a few things for the condo. The pool area was clean and with a large attached sun deck gave us lots of room. The sand volley ball court and fire pit were a surprise and added to the experience. The facility was U shaped and gave us a feeling of privacy in a otherwise congested area. A short hop on the Causeway and Clearwater beaches were about 12 miles away. Resort personnel were are friendly and accommodating.

The room was as it was described. The Hostess left a bottle of wine, but I declined due to some medication I was taking. Very thoughtful gesture. I have stayed at the resort 4 x and with this particular Host 2 x. I prefer more of a view than what I had. They were already booked. Communication was perfect. The actual resort had some hurricane damage. The restaurant was excellent and I enjoyed seeing the lady waitress who has worked there for a long time. Very attentive and friendly. Definitely will be back. I would say only 1 thing. The resort itself should waive the resort fee until the property is fully operational. Beach deck area & the beach area were the volleyball and fire pits were at one time. pool heater and elevator not working.

Great views!

Nice views of the beautiful Tampa bay sunset each evening. Loved listening to all the beautiful bird life settling in the palm trees. The wildlife in the bay is amazing. TVs & wifi were great. Loved the Keurig machine & toaster for the mornings -spent a lot of time on the balcony. Biggest drawback was that the bedroom window & front door was right next to a busy hallway. Not a lot of quiet in the mornings if you wanted to sleep in. Bed was super comfy & we appreciated having a separate bedroom when I ended up coming down with a terrible cold. I could hit the sack early & hubby could still watch ESPN without me in the living room:) We didn't have any issues during our stay so we didn't need to contact the owners. All correspondence pre & post stay were great. Would stay again if heading back to Tampa. Super close to the airport!

2 Nights out in Tampa!

We enjoyed staying at this property while visiting Tampa and going to the Tampa Bucks game. It was very clean and cozy and quite close to the stadium and airport. We may rent the property again sometime! A good value.

Clean condo. Pullout bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. We stayed for a weekend so we could deal with it for two nights. Easy to get too. The convince store on site and restaurant were super handy.

Great place and great value.

Great place for a small family or a couple. Close to the pool and center elevator. Resort setting with some great features. Some noise due to proximity to elevator and office, but it didn’t seem to be excessively early or late, so it didn’t bother us. It seems to be mostly families and adults. Not a noisy party crowd. Would recommend!

Great Place & Location!

I was down in Tampa for the Super Bowl and stayed here with a friend. We had a great time being close to a few bars and restaurants and also having a heated pool with a poolside bar. Easy Uber to downtown. The place was clean and was perfect for what we were looking for. Would absolutely return!

Getaway

It was a nice place for a short get away. Coffee pot did not work, but the owner left us get one out of another unit. We brought left over pizza home one evening and I was going to heat up in the oven, but no pan, so put in microwave and ate soggy pizza. Needs to be more stocked with kitchen items. The bottle of wine was nice, but no corkscrew. Went to the office and they left us borrow theirs. The pool area and little cafe was nice.

C+ stay

This condo(202) is right by the staircase, lift and reception office for the Sailport resort and hence a little noisy if one stays in the bedroom. Size wise it’s ok for 2 people, but would be a stretch for more( traffic wise, luggages, closet space etc). What we liked: Clean and the fact there was a little beach bar serving food & drinks. Night stands on both sides of the bed, plenty of wall outlets ‱ internet connection satisfactory , but we experienced short interruptions in the cloudy days ‱ email with check in instructions was clear , almost complete and sent well in advance We weren’t impressed by: ‱ lack of drapes/ mini blinds for privacy (heavy curtains only did not allow light in); no screens ‱ A little noisy ‱ Toilet moving ( it was fixed promptly at our request) ‱ there was a welcome bottle of wine (thank you), but no bottle opener ‱ No sanitizer ‱ No hooks in the bath or around( for hanging clothes) ‱ 1/4 full bottle soap in the bath, previously used dishwasher sponge, shower gel, shampoo dispenser not refilled ‱ No garbage bags, no instructions where can throw it away. ‱ no window in the bedroom to refresh /circulate the air, the large mini-blind and curtain shown in the pic hide a fake window to the large corridor ‱ squeaky bed ‱ balcony View is a stretch ,not like in the photo ‱ pool and volleyball beach are small ‱ owner communication most times was slow( with the exception of the toilet problem mentioned above) Waiting for days for owner to respond to emails; check out expectations not set ‱ location relatively far from a swimming beach and /or with beach rentals; also 15 min (driving) from nearest Walgreens,CVS or supermarket.
