Enjoyed our stay

Very nice place. The location is great and the grounds are very well maintained, and the staff is very friendly. The only thing they need is more luggage carts and more parking.

We agree that parking can be scarce with the condos in town. However, this condo like all condos on the peninsula provide one assigned parking space underground. Then, you may bring one additional vehicle for the above ground parking lot however, this lot is first-come-first-serve. This is generous compared to parking in most major and beach-side cities. As a tip, we always recommend parking the vehicle you plan on using the most in the assigned spot that way you know you have a spot to return to. We notify guests of this situation in the description of the unit before you book, in the rental agreement, in an automated email sent 2 weeks prior to arrival, and in the check-in instructions sent a week prior to arrival notify you of this so that you may plan accordingly.

Great location

The location of this condo is perfect. It’s on the south end of a1a away for most of the traffic where it’s more enjoyable on the beach and if you’re leaving to go somewhere else. It’s a beautiful place to stay.

Great place

Loved condo and location. Condo is big, accommodated family of 6 easily. Teenage grandkids went from beach to pool to game room for pool all day long! Would definitely recommend and will stay there again. I loved the master bedroom was oceanfront with door open all the time to beach noises. Also could enjoy the ocean from balcony without baking in the sun 🌞Great sunrises

My stay

I have stayed at Sanibel about four or 5 times now. But didn't know they were closing that part of the beach for construction June 2nd. Sanibel did have a golf cart to take you to the beach and come back after you but no restroom access. Thanks to the two guys that helped! Now they have two carts. I love staying there because it is a quiet place (except for the big trucks going back and forth on the beach) and convenient to places, we like to eat and shop. Aunt Catfish is a great place to eat!!

Remotely working

My experience was extremely pleasant. Happened to check in when Daytona 500 was going on, and bike week. Which were both a nice surprise and lively. I would recommend this condo, right next to a drive free beach which is great. Daytona Beach itself, good for recreational but I prefer the white soft sand.

One of the best VRBO's we have stayed at

I love when the property is actually as pictured. Location is great, as we aren't fond of the drive-on side of the beach, so it's a short walk to cross over to the no-drive side. Most important.....responsiveness of the management company. We had some silly issues, but important none the less. Everything was responded to and/or taken care of in 20 minutes or less. We have been renting condos in South Daytona for over 10 years now and this is one of the best!!!

Great Condo plenty of room for a large family

Great condo Great location Beach front Easy access to beach and pool Not to close to boardwalk so it quiet If I had to complain about anything it would be the parking situation. Not enough parking. If it weren’t for my husbands temporary handicap tag we wouldn’t have been able to park our 2 vehicle. That doesn’t change my mind about this condo though we will book it for again next year.

Great Condo!!

Loved the condo!! Condo was very clean. Great view of the beach from the1st floor balcony. Easy access to the beach. We got to experience the fire alarm system the first night there around 2:00 am. Had great speakers in the room telling us to evacuate the building. (Just a computer glitch) Not complaining just letting everyone know that this is a safe place to be in case of a real emergency. The only thing negative was 20" TVs in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent Facility in Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at the Sanibel was great. The facility was clean and well equipped, as was Unit 105. The pool and pool deck were absolute perfection everyday. The Staff was very friendly and most accommodating. This is a great location that is kid friendly, adjacent to the No-Drive Beach, great surroundings, and very quiet and restful at night. The only issue you might have is if you have a second vehicle with parking space in the outdoor lot at the front of the building. All being said, Sanibel should definitely be considered for a family vacation in the Daytona Beach Area.

Disappointed

The place was dirty, the living room furniture sucked, the pictures showed the pool was finished NOT. Had to buy my own vacuum sweeper ( the one in condo was junk) very little if any cleaning supplies), lighting in condo sucks ( couldn't read anything after dark) very little water pressure in the showers( need cleaned. Dog hair everywhere. For the money spent to rent this and what we got I will never rent this again. Worse place I ever stayed in 40 years of coming to Daytona

We were both surprised and confused to read your review. To begin with the pool, we are completely honest and upfront about the pool being closed and we even send guests automated email after booking reminding them of this and asking them to confirm they are aware, which you did. We also sent our our welcome message the morning after your arrival when you said everything was great. You didn't report any sort of cleaning or maintenance issues. This condo is not even pet-friendly so there's no possibility of pet hair. This condo has been a rental for over 10 years and no one has ever complained about the lighting or water pressure. Most of the furniture was just replaced a year ago so it's all relatively new. All other guests have left positive reviews and really enjoyed the property. We are just wondering if you are confusing this unit with another you rented in town during your stay because nothing matches what this property is and it doesn't match the communication you had with us throughout your stay. For other guests reading this review, please know nothing here is really matching up with this property and we encourage you to read the many, many other 5 star reviews from guests on this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family vacationed in Daytona in June 2019. This was a perfect condo for us. We had 6 adults. This is a very large condo with plenty of room. Decorated and equipped great. If I had to make one complaint it would be the parking. When I rented I was told I would have 2 parking spaces one underneath in the garage and one up top in the parking lot. Nope that wasn't the case. No parking up top had we not had my husbands temporary handicap tag we would not have been able to park our second vehicle that was a little frustrating on the day we arrived. BUT with that being said we are going again next summer and staying in the same condo.Jennifer at he management company was awesome to work with very accommodating.
