"Strand Hus" en danois pour "Beach House". Cette maison de style danois moderne Ă  deux niveaux, 2 chambres, 2 1/2 salles de bain est perchĂ©e sur l'ocĂ©an. Toutes les chambres bĂ©nĂ©ficient d'une vue panoramique imprenable sur l'ocĂ©an. Si vous apprĂ©ciez l'intimitĂ©, c'est votre endroit pour vous dĂ©tendre, lire, vous retirer ou tout simplement "veg out". Laveuse / sĂ©cheuse, cuisine moderne et stationnement inclus. À quelques pas de la plage.
Restaurants, caves et magasins à proximité. Ne peut accueillir que 4 adultes, pas d'animaux, non fumeur, pas d'enfants de moins de 12 ans. Ceci est une maison sans chaussures, veuillez garder vos chaussures à la porte d'entrée.

We absolutely love the house. The driveway is very steep and you have to be able to walk down to the property. Parking might be an issue for some people. We were fine. Fell in love with being so close to the water and listening to the ocean. Convenient to Summerland and their restaurants and shops. Easily walked there. There's a lovely park next door to the property

Simply Stunning Property

This home is just perfection. So secluded, and the photos do not do justice to the experience of being surrounded by the water on all sides. It was an amazing spot to stay during our elopement in Santa Barbara.

Spectacular Beach House

This property is beautiful and one of the nicest rentals ever. Tastefully decorated. The only way to get closer to the water is on a boat.

Happy Anniversary

Very good location with well appointed living space. Beautiful ocean views and great sunsets. Kitchen has everything we needed and more. Shelly, the manager, was very nice and helpful.

Second visit

This will be my favorite place to stay when visiting Santa Barbara forever. Dealing with Shelley the manager is so easy the house as well stocked and perfectly maintained.

I highly recommend staying here! It was so luxurious, clean, quiet, secluded, modern, and beautiful. Communication with the property manager was seamless. I can't wait to go back!

The photos of the property show an actual accessible beach, that was walkable and expansive. The actuality was that there is NO beach AT ALL so no possibility of fabulous walks on the beach. Combination of no AC, and windows HAD to be kept open for air, and the very loud waves that literally crash on the sea wall directly under the house made sleeping challenging. There is NO parking in front of the property and a VERY steep driveway that we were not made aware of and it was painful for my husband who had recently had a hip replacement and in need of a second one. We were also literally rushed out @ 10:00 a.m. which is so very early considering the check in time. I informed the owner and she was very dismissive. beautiful area, but not accurately listed, and should be updated with accurate photos and description.

Gorgeous Property, Stunning Location

We had a lovely few days at this gorgeous beach house. The location is fantastic, right over the water. It's a stunning setting. We watched dolphins and a very reliable seal (almost always in the same place in our 'ocean front yard'. The house is beautiful - nicely decorated, very well appointed, and private. Shelly was responsive and helpful. We hope to rent the Strand Hus again sometime soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Can’t get any better than having the ocean right at your back door. Home has everything you need(appliances, blankets, shampoo/soap,ect). As others have noted, there is a steep driveway going down to the house and steps down to the beach. But we had a very relaxing time and enjoyed sleeping to the sound of the ocean

Fabulous

30th Anniversary get away weekend. What a great place!!! My wife and I enjoyed our time. Ocean sounds, views and a bonus with the birds nesting in tree right outside the front door. Heated floors were a nice bonus. All the amenities add to the overall atmosphere. Visit Summerland you won’t be disappointed. We would definitely stay again. Communication was very easy and the little reminders around space are helpful.

Summerland Hideaway

This property (Unit A) is a pure aesthetic experience of the pacific ocean. We stayed in good weather and were mesmerized by the early morning fog, moonlit water, golden afternoon light. The architecture provides beautiful simplicity. You couldn't pay for better seats at a fancy restaurant so you might was well eat in. I want everyone I know and care about to have some time to relax there. The cedar shake clad midcentury style property is tucked out of site down a long steep hill.

Beautiful property

This house is beautiful. The interior and deck are really amazing and unique and truly delightful. A great place to stay! A couple of considerations for those who come after us. Parking for the property is up a very steep hill. Normally I wouldn’t be concerned but have an upcoming knee surgery and it was a little interesting getting in and out. Also, the house is above a seawall and the surf can be quite loud, particularly with the windows open (which was a bit of a requirement as there is no AC). That being said I have no actual complaints about the house. It is one of the coolest oceanfront houses I’ve ever been in and we loved it. It was perfect for what we needed and I’d definitely recommend it.

Great- except...

Clean and modern beach condo. Absolutely right on the ocean with waves crashing beneath you! I really liked it. If we could change anything, it would be to upgrade the pillows- they're a little ancient. The fire alarm did go off from 3 AM night one night for no fire reason- we ended up climbing up to unplug the device and setting it outside until we departed the next day. The manager was very kind, but the owner didn't care or offer an apology. This made me want to stay in a hotel the next time since this was over $1k a night to stay here.

Beautiful Ocean Views and sounds

The house was really nice. The kitchen was not equipped for cooking all meals. Knives are dull, the oven is small and two electric burners. We were fine not wearing shoes since we don't in our own homes, but the cleanig crew did not clean the floors well. Debris in corners and was not mopped. The bottoms of our feet were really dirty after 10 minutes in the house. I had to go out and buy slippers to wear in the house.

STUNNING ,RELAXING, And AMAZING

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary, Amazing 5 days! Go, Book, and Enjoy . Shelly the manager of the property is wonderful! Walk the beach daily. Go to Tinkers for a burger, Red Kettle for morning coffee! We walked to both! Close drive to Grocery, Starbucks, shopping, just 45 minutes to winery’s ( Firestone, Sunstone,etc) . Have a drink at Rosewood Miramar which is also a short drive up the street , but hurry back to this amazing home, to hear and see the ocean .You will not want to be gone long! Doors - windows open to peace and a view that is rare to find , you liteally feel like your in the ocean! ! Secluded , private and PERFECT! This house has it ALL! We plan to come back yearly! Thank you for an amazing much needed vacation ! You may see dolphins or a occasional celebrity in town ( we witnessed both) Until we book again
