Houghton is home to the historic Houghton Hall and Gardens, a lovely place to spend an afternoon exploring the grounds and learning more about the local area. If you fancy a meal out, head over to the Dukes Head Chinese restaurant, or one of the local pubs, including The Crown Inn, and the Rose and Crown Harpley. Close by attractions include the RAF Sculthorpe Heritage Centre, Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve, Sandringham Estate, and the impressive ruins of Castle Rising. Fakenham is a close by location offering a selection of shops, pubs, and eateries, so guests can enjoy a meal out and stock up on essentials.
