Our property in Deia, “Son Jazmin”, is a unique detached villa with a private heated swimming pool. (pool heating included from April to first Saturday in November) Set in an idyllic elevated location with spectacular sea and mountain views, yet within walking distance of the centre of Deia. Featuring beautifully furnished accommodation, exposed beams, air conditioned bedrooms, oil fired central heating and a cosy log burner for the winter months.
Electronic gates (controlled by remote) lead to the driveway and large garage with parking for a second car.
The comfortable living area is on the first floor with satellite LG Flat Screen TV. Freeview channels, free WI-FI and a Bose Sound Touch 20 Bluetooth Music System you can connect to your phone and play your own choice of music. A fully fitted kitchen featuring Miele built-in appliances Silestone worktops, Bosh American style fridge freezer with chilled filtered water and ice maker, island unit with induction hob and views out to the Mediterranean. There is also a cloak room and coats cupboard.
The air conditioned triple aspect master suite occupies the entire top floor, furnished with a super king 4 poster bed, fabulous sea views, en-suite wardrobe/dressing area, luxury bathroom & large private patio overlooking the sea and sunsets. On the ground floor there are two further air conditioned super king bedrooms (one can be a twin on request) they share the second luxury travertine shower room. There is also a separate utility room with Miele washing machine & dryer, iron and ironing board.
Outside there are many seaview patio areas furnished for relaxing and al fresco & BBQ dining.
Steps lead up to the 30' swimming pool with a sophisticated salt purification system, far gentler to your skin, hair, eyes and swimsuit and provides an experience that's more like swimming in a lake than a chlorinated pool. Very private with stunning sea and mountain views, surrounded by flowerbeds and sun bathing areas with teak sun loungers and parasols. A perfect romantic spot to relax and unwind!

Stunningly beautiful villa

The villa is every good as it looks in the pictures. Outside is just amazing with the pool and various seating areas and sea views. Inside it is fitted out with first class furniture and fittings/appliances. No criticisms whatsoever and we loved the place.

Family Getaway

We had the most gorgeous week at Son Jazmin in August this year. The villa is in the perfect location for walking into Deia and sightseeing nearby at Valdemossa, Sóller & Fornalutx. The house has the most amazing views from the numerous terraces and a lovely pool which our children loved. The property is homely and very well stocked with all you could need. All contact with the owners/reps was excellent and ensured a comfortable stay. We will definitely be visiting again in the future! Thank you so much.

Wonderful return to Deia

This property was exactly as described - comfortable, well appointed, just wonderful! We stayed in Deia before but had not experienced the sunsets we were able to enjoy this year - being higher, had breathtaking views of the Mediterranean - we were spoiled with 2 weeks full of wonder! Thank you Heather for being such a thoughtful host - surprising us with flowers and champagne on our wedding anniversary day! - we hope to be back one day.

Wonderful Week

Last week we returned to Son Jazmin villa. The property was, as always, immaculate. This was our 4th visit and we cannot say enough about the villa. Heather has thought of everything. Deia is just a short walk from the villa and there are several wonderful walking trails close by. We will return again and again!!!

My family had an amazing week at Son Jazmin! We were 5 adults(my husband, sister, and parents) and our 2-month old daughter. The bedrooms are comfortable with AC and have great closet space to unpack. We also enjoyed the many seating areas inside and outside of the home. The pool was the perfect temperature and the lounge chairs were great, we honestly never wanted to leave the house! The location is amazing with an ocean view but still easily walkable on a nice sidewalk into Deià to eat at the many restaurants- we loved Nama. We also bought groceries at the two supermarkets in town and were able to cook at the house in the lovely kitchen that had everything we needed. We visited the nearby towns of Valdemossa and Soller, both 20min away by car, and did a longer trip to Formentor for the beautiful sandy beach and views of the coast. Llum I Sal at the four seasons was great for lunch, too. Overall we had a nice relaxing trip and would love to come back and stay at Son Jazmin again, it’s definitely one of our favorite homes we’ve rented and couldn’t ask for anything more!

Fabulous villa in a beautiful location

Over the past few years Son Jazmin has become a wonderful holiday home for our family of four including two young teenagers. We absolutely love our holidays here in this beautiful setting. The villa is stunning and very comfortable. The kids stay in the two rooms downstairs and we enjoy the beautiful view from the master bedroom upstairs. The villa has a large, private and nicely heated pool, varied terraces for every occasion and time of day, great beds, top end kitchen and most of all wonderful views and fantastic sunsets. The location couldn't be better - very peaceful but still close to everything. There is a short walk to Deia village along a lighted boardwalk - and a 20 min. hike to the small beach with a great restaurant for lunch. We never use the car. Deia has many great restaurants and a small but well-stocked supermarket. Heather is lovely to work with and the property managers are both friendly and efficient. We strongly recommend this superb holiday home on Mallorca, and we look very much forward to returning twice next year.

Son Jazmin

We have been coming to Son Jazmin now for 6 years and have just returned from our most recent visit. This is the loveliest villa we have stayed in by some way, and on several counts. It is set in the lovely village of Deia which is within easy walking reach of the villa and offers plenty of places to eat and drink from cheap and cheerful to restaurants of the highest calibre and a fabulous restaurant down on the beach which is a bit more of a walk but worth it for the breathtaking views. As for the villa itself, the owners not only maintain it beautfully, but there is something new to enjoy every year - some sort of improvement or addition. The views are spectacular - a wonderful mixture of sea and mountains - and every night there is a different but always stunning sunset. It feels like someone's home rather than a holiday rental and it is comprehesively equipped. The owners are very sensitive to feedback and if there has ever been a problem or if we felt things could be improved by an extra piece of equipment in the kitchen or somesuch they are quick and positive in their response. The beds here are more comfortable than ours at home and it is thanks to Son Jazmin that we now have a topper at home! We hope to be returning for as long as the delightful and friendly owners allow us!

A stunning villa! It was even better than I hoped it would be, a dream home with amazing views!

We booked this villa for a special birthday treat. We were hoping for a week of sun, relaxation, good food & wine in lovely surroundings. Precious family time. We got all the above! I can’t stress enough how perfect the villa was. Spotlessly clean & had everything you could need. The welcome hamper a great touch & the champagne chilling waiting for your arrival just the perfect way to start your holiday! The view from the bed in the master bedroom WOW! The beautiful sunsets we sat & watched in the evenings, so special. There’s always somewhere amazing to sit whether in or out of the sun with all the different terraces. The pool was awesome, perfect temperature & again spotlessly clean. We loved it❤️ I enjoyed lying by the pool watching the boats go by with the binoculars (we found in the cupboard by the WC in the living area ) So glad we booked this place! Deìa itself is very beautiful. I completely fell in love with it. Only a short walk from the villa (we hadn’t hired a car) We ate out every day & each restaurant was great. The bakery was delicious too. Really impressed with the shop, well stocked with everything you need & good stuff too. Heather was great & easy to contact if needed beforehand. Maya who showed us round the villa was so lovely, very helpful & on hand if you needed anything. Thank you Son Jazmin for amazing memories ☀️❤️👌🏻

Perfect Place to Unplug!

We cannot express how nice this villa is. We stayed at SonJazmine a few years ago and had to return. The views, the villa, the weather all make it the perfect location to relax and unwind. Heather keeps the villa in pristine fashion. Everything you need is there. Close proximity to town, great restaurants, wonderful hiking trails all make this a place we will return to again and again.

Absolute Wow!!

We have stayed in many overseas rentals over the years and can honestly say that Son Jazmin was by far way the best so far! When arriving we were met by Mya who gave us a detailed walk through of the villa and also some great advise on the places to see and eat throughout our stay. The quality of the bedding, towels and appliances were just so good which is something that you don't always get when renting homes abroad. The pool, garden and views were just something else too and so missing since returning home on Saturday. Thanks to Heather and the team from making this one to remember, we'll be back next year for sure! :)

Perfect house in a perfect location

Son Jazmin is a very well appointed and beautifully decorated house with delightful views from every angle. So nice to have wide tranquill sea views but be less than a 15 minute walk into beautiful Deia with its fine selection of restaurants. A week feels too brief.

Schöner gehts nicht!

Unsere Wahl für unseren Urlaub hätte garnicht besser sein können. Das Haus , die Lage , die Einrichtung, der Blick, die Ruhe waren wunderbar. Auf Probleme wurde reagiert und diese behoben. Wir fühlten uns sehr, sehr wohl und der Abschied fiel so richtig schwer.

Son Jazmin certainly surpassed our expectations and we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing and memorable week - so much so that we have since rebooked for 2019. Thank you heather for allowing us to stay in your very stylish, spacious and luxurious villa - perfect for two couples or an extended family. We appreciated all the work, design, décor and attention to detail that has gone in to Son Jazmin. Everything was top-notch and just so comfortable. We loved all the various outside terraces, the sea and mountain views, the spring planting and the beautiful heated pool. To be able to swim surrounded by such stunning scenery during the first week in April, was just bliss. The top terrace around the pool is also a real sun trap and just so private with only the donkey to watch us. As for charming Deia, the village shop has everything you might need and the number and variety of restaurants within walking distance is excellent. We tried many during our stay, with Sebastian's being our favourite. Do not miss having lunch at Café Miro, La Residencia. It is a must just to experience the wonderful setting, gardens and views. We did not need a car and explored further afield by catching the excellent local bus. The bus stop is just a few minutes walk away at the bottom of the hill and costs less than 2 euros to visit Valdemossa and Soller. We also caught the tram from Soller to Port de Soller which is a fun and easy thing to do and would have caught the little train to Palma if there had been more time. Lastly, booking with Heather was quick, friendly, and efficient. She even organised our taxi transfers to and from the airport, which also helped to make our stay totally stress free. The cleaners did an excellent job and the local housekeeper met us on arrival and was extremely helpful, informative, and only a text message away. We highly recommend Son Jazmin and the beautiful Deia area. A wonderful find and we can't wait to return.

Sublime....

Sheltered by the rugged mountains behind, and the spectacular sea views in front, Son Jazmin is in a stunning and peaceful location. The villa is beautiful on the outside, with terraces on different levels from which to savour the glorious views. The accommodation inside is luxurious and spacious, and with the finest bed-linen and towels. We appreciated the wood-burning stove and central heating on chilly evenings. The dream kitchen is so well-equipped, including a Nespresso machine – thank you! We did plenty of walking in and around Deia, including up to the church and down to the beach. The whole area here is magical, like stepping way back into the past. We bought loaves of rustica bread (as good as in France), every day, from the local well stocked mini-market in Deia village. They sell freshly made exquisite pies and pizzas as well. The restaurant Es Raco d’es Teix (also known as Josef’s) is recommended; we had their 6 course lunch – the food here matched many fine Paris restaurants. Our week here in November was so special that we have booked to come again in April and we are counting the days until our return....

Seriously impressive

We were very impressed with the description and photographs of Son Jazmin and they certainly lived up to their billing. The villa is tastefully and stylishly furnished with stunning views from its many terraces. The views of the mountains from the lovely pool area are almost as enthralling as the sea views at the front. The property manager is very helpful and but a text message away. The walk to the village is approximately 20 minutes and importantly is very safe along a lighted path and boardwalk. It was lovely to be able to walk back under the stars from dinner. This was, without doubt, one of the nicest villas we have ever stayed in.

A slice of heaven

There was only one problem with Son Jazmin – too many decisions. Which patio shall we use this evening to watch the blazing sun vanish over the Mediterranean horizon? Where shall we eat tonight? – somewhere swish and spoilt for choice in Deia like Josef's (Es Raco d'teix), Sebastian's, or Nama… or maybe a stroll down to the cove, where Robert Graves used to swim, and something a bit more casual but equally delicious at C'as Patro March, where they filmed scenes for The Night Manager apparently. Or what about a day out – will it be a stroll along Soller marina and an al fresco lunch or what seems like a journey to the bottom of the sea in Palma’s huge and extraordinary fish market. Seriously, this is a slice of heaven, a luxury villa, perched on a Deia hillside, with beautiful secluded gardens and terracing but opening out with a spectacular sea view. Stylish and spotless, it felt like your every need had been anticipated and delivered. We loved this place.

Beautiful and Perfect

This was our second stay at Son Jazmin and, like the first, it was perfect. Son Jazmin has a relaxed, rustic feel, with all the modern conveniences. The location is excellent. There are three patios, each with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. In the morning the sky is pink and the water is blue, better than an Impressionistic painting. We’ve stayed at La Residencia and rented other houses in Deia, but nothing compares with Son Jazmin. We can’t wait to return. Finally, the owners are responsive and accommodating, and the local managers are friendly and helpful.

High Hopes & Expectations - Exceeded!

The villa is set in a beautiful, tranquil location between the sea and the mountains, the sunsets are amazing! The layout and the facilities are everything you could need for relaxing stay, to the point that we didn’t need – or rather want - to leave the villa. Booking with the owner (Heather) is fast, efficient & friendly. We had high hopes and expectations for our stay at Son Jazmin and we were not disappointed! Highly recommended.

The Best Villa in Deia.

I'm very reluctant to write this review because I would quite like to keep Son Jazmin to myself! I have been very fortunate to stay in some beautiful destinations all over the world and I have to say that this Villa is up there with the best. I am a glass half empty sort of a girl and I can usually find something to complain about or criticise but this place is perfect in every way. The photos of the Villa don't really do it justice, it is even more beautiful than it looks. The owners Heather and Terry maintain the property so well, it's like staying at one of the best 5 star hotels but with better views. I did not want to leave. Lizzie D

When we found Son Jazmin we found Paradise!!

Son Jazmin is totally faultless from the property - the views - the area - we arrived and felt like we were in another world , each time we go back it always feels like the first time , we are in total awe of the luxurious villa and the beauty that surrounds it , we feel honoured to get the opportunity to stay in such a magnificent home. Great house in a dreamlike setting

Really stunning location in Deia, with the sea in front and mountains behind. The house is well appointed with nice big rooms and plenty of outdoor space for lounging. We were there in spring and everything smelled of jasmine and orange blossoms. Our son enjoyed the heated pool and we fed donkeys and sheep over the backyard fence. Short walk to the village. We especially enjoyed driving along the coastal roads, exploring nearby Soller, and hiking down to the beach. Highly recommended!

The most beautiful property we have ever stayed in

It is impossible to fault Son Jazmin. This property is absolute heaven. The owners have gone to so much effort to make it absolutely top notch. No corners have been cut, no expense spared - from the incredible bedding, White Company products in each bathroom, a fantastic top end kitchen to endless delightful open spaces to relax and take in the magnificent view. Truly, it's heaven on earth. When we first walked into the property, it literally took our breath away. The moment you arrive, you feel relaxed, on cloud nine and completely at home. It was very difficult to say goodbye to Son Jazmin after our two week holiday and I know that we will return time and time again. You never tire of the sun setting on the sea directly in front of the house each night. So special and magical. We feel like we struck gold discovering Son Jazmin.

We fell in love with Deia the very first time we visited staying in La Residencia Hotel many years ago. We loved the beauty of the village, the people and the choice of restaurants.
We then went on a mission to find a property we could return to every year.

We had a must have criteria when we were searching for a house in Deia many years ago.
Sea and sunset views, on the sunny side of Deia, within walking distance of the village, not overlooked and with a swimming pool. We eventually found our dream property and have never looked back since.
