Maison de campagne rustique dans le sud de Lancaster avec une piscine commune.

Cette maison de campagne est nichĂ©e au cƓur du pays Amish, dans le magnifique comtĂ© de Lancaster, dans le sud de la Pennsylvanie. La propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e dans une ferme sur une route de campagne tranquille, excellente pour marcher / faire du vĂ©lo sur certaines des plus belles terres agricoles du comtĂ© de lancaster. Nous sommes situĂ©s Ă  20 minutes de la plupart des principales attractions de la rĂ©gion, des points de vente, du parc d'attractions Dutch Wonderland, du thĂ©Ăątre Sight and Sound. Une heure de Hershey en Pennsylvanie. et Philadelphie.
À 10 minutes de route, vous trouverez un parc aux loups propice Ă  la randonnĂ©e et Ă  la marche et au parcours de golf mocassin Run.

Notre maison du XIXe siÚcle comprend une cuisine entiÚrement équipée, un salon et une salle à manger. La plus grande de ses deux chambres a deux lits queen. Le plus petit a un lit queen size. nous avons également un matelas pneumatique disponible. Nous fournissons les draps pour un maximum de 8 personnes. 3 salles de bains dont une avec baignoire sur pattes, les 2 autres avec douche.


Pour une escapade tranquille à la campagne, le Miriam's Guest House est un lieu de retraite idéal pour votre famille ou votre petit groupe. Profitez d'une journée d'été ensoleillée pour vous détendre sur le porche, détendez-vous dans la piscine à la disposition de nos hÎtes, également partagée par les propriétaires. aire de jeux pour les enfants, grillades sur la terrasse, soirées agréables autour du feu de camp. Pendant les mois d'hiver et les soirées fraßches, détendez-vous au coin du feu. N'hésitez pas à dire bonjour aux nombreux animaux de notre ferme, nous avons un cheval, Jenny, l'ùne amical qui erre parfois dans les lieux, floue le chat qui vient au porche pour une visite. Et notre derniÚre addition, Ethel, une vache écossaise Highlander.



Prenez vos fruits et légumes frais cultivés chez vous dans les kiosques à fruits et légumes voisins et venez faire vos courses dans notre magasin local Amish, à l'épicerie sunrise. Situé à 1/4 mile de nous.

Il y a aussi une machine à café Kerig (avec une cafetiÚre ordinaire) dans la cuisine, il vous suffit de fournir les kcups.

This property is so relaxing and scenic. The farmhouse is luxuriously renovated but feels like stepping back in time all at once. Our family adores seeing the animals on the farm, the peace and quiet, and enjoying family time in the comfy living spaces. We will be back!

The farmhouse was clean, cozy and perfect. As soon as we had arrived Jenny, the donkey, greeted us. The decor and furnture were beautiful and soo comfortable in the house. The grounds are well kepted and the views are breathtaking. If you are an animal lover, this is the place for you. We enjoyed seeing Chloe, Jenny, Ethel, and all of the ponnies. Mim was a fabulous host checking if we needed help with anything. It was just 20 -30 minutes to drive to shopping and food areas. We are already planning to return.

Excellent host!!! Reached out several times to make sure everything was going great. Only thing I would say is if someone in your party has trouble with stairs this location may not be for you. Both bedrooms are upstairs. We loved the property!!! Very quiet area. Would definitely stay again!!

Our stay was perfect! The peacefulness of the location was great. I loved having coffee in the morning on the patio watching the farm animals and hearing the birds chirping. Nights by the fire pit were a nice way to unwind. Our hosts were wonderful!Thank you for sharing this house with us!!

We spent 5 days at this home. It fit our family of 8 very well. The setting is beautiful and away from the busyness of the city. Making our own food in the kitchen was enjoyable. Everything we needed was available. We recommend this VRBO!!

Omar & Mim are exceptional & inviting hosts!! The animals on the property were the icing on the cake!! Very clean and homey feeling house. Would recommend 100%!!! However if you don’t do well with stairs this is not the rental for you.

This location is not a 10 it’s a 12! Cannot say enough good things about it! The photos are exactly how the house looks, perfect. Gorgeous farmhouse on immaculate property in a peaceful setting with amazing local scenery. Visiting the farm animals on the property and the friendly dogs alone were worth it - Zoey the dalmatian coming to visit us every day was a highlight! Hearing horse and buggies going by, cows and horses everywhere and Amish farms close by was truly amazing. I can’t imagine you could get a better Amish experience. You will see more animals and horse and buggies than cars.The property is close enough to local attractions but still away from all the noise! We took in all the local sites as well as Hershey and Philadelphia, both each an hour away. The house has all the modern amenities while still proving an old farmhouse feel. We are a family of four and had plenty of room. We have stayed in many homes through VRBO, and this was by far the best for comfort, cleanliness and charm. It has everything you need, especially in the kitchen. Omar and Mim are wonderful and very welcoming. I enjoyed talking with Omar about the farm. While they live nearby, they generally keep to themselves, unless you need them. They went above and beyond as hosts and their recommendations were very helpful. We did not want to leave. Thank you!

4th Year in a Row!

We love staying at Mim and Omar’s farmhouse - this is our 4th summer doing so. It’s perfect for our family of 6 (2 little kids, 2 parents and 2 grandparents)! Not too far from all the attractions, but much more space than a hotel and it is beautiful. Always clean, always new renovations each year, and Mim is the best. Highly recommend!!

Quiet retreat

Mother’s Day weekend retreat with my daughter, mother and mother in law. The four of us were very comfortable and had plenty of space indoor and outdoor to enjoy ourselves. The weather was perfect for sitting outside on the balcony or the below courtyard patio. Gardens and farm were a pleasant view and we enjoyed watching the young mules play as well as the donkey, pony, dogs and of course the highland cow. We spent the day shopping around the various markets and shops, spent the evenings at local eateries and enjoyed quiet nights talking and spending quality time together. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Sight and sound weekend

We stayed for a weekend getaway. 4 adults and 3 kiddos and we had plenty of space. The experience was absolutely Perfect and more than I had even expected. The property, animals and swing set kept the kids so busy we didn’t even end up leaving the house on our off day. The property was clean and updated while still keeping the charm of the original home. The host was quick in response and very helpful along the way when we had some questions. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit the area. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful cozy restored old farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay very much for a girls getaway. Not far from all the shopping and activities in Lancaster area. Cozy, peaceful place to stay. Enjoyed a fire in the fireplace. Plenty of space for 4 friends to relax. Highly recommend.

We had such a pleasant experience here. Beautiful, clean property, so well kept. Had so much charm and character and wonderful decorating. We had everything we needed and got a wonderful rest. Beds were very comfortable. We definitely plan to return!

Our trip to the Lancaster area wouldnt have been as great without this amazing place to stay. Our host was great and the property was beautiful. Lots of time and places to take a deep breath and relax. We went to Sight and Sound which wasnt far from the farm and also went to a concert in Baltimore one night just over an hour away. It was great to meet our new farm friends and give them treats (ask permission). If you are looking for a home base in the Lancaster area, this is it. Kids would really enjoy the location. Lots of games available and special loft areas for them to sleep.. Top notch!

Great hostest

My family very much enjoyed our visit to Lancaster. Miriam was a wonderful host, we enjoyed meeting both her and her family. The house was very clean with most anything you might need. Very comfortable beds with made for a good nights rest for the next days adventures. We also enjoyed meeting and feeding Ethel the Scottish Highlander cow, Sandy the pony and Jenny the donkey. Miriam was very helpful with sharing her knowledge of the area with suggestions of places to visit, eat and just places to ride and view the beautiful countryside.
