The perfect place to stay for a weekend at Rhinebeck! The house was comfortably furnished, very clean and tidy; the host is friendly and check-in/out easy as can be. Highly recommend!

Visit to Historical sites.

Such a great place to stay and explore the area. Perfect setup for us. It rained often and we were able to take advantage of the home in the evening to relax and watch a few movies. Really enjoyed the stay. Would visit again! Great home and host.

The only thing that was missing, in my opinion, is a table to eat at together or play cards, which our group likes to do. The house is small, though, so I understand how that would congest the area. It was well stocked with all cooking needs and was very clean. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Great location and comfortable home

This home is spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including a Keurig coffee maker. We also appreciated the washer / dryer. The toiletries available in the bathroom were a nice touch. We loved the location also. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. It is a short walk to the small town of Hurley and to the rail trail.

Rhinebeck Getaway

Rented this house for a weekend at Rhinebeck with a girlfriend. It was very clean and well appointed. We had a bit of a glitch with the heat on the first night, and the owner was easy to reach and got it fixed for the second night. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Very cozy, quiet and private getaway as described. Comfy couches and pristine appliances. Loved the stools at the counter and the counter itself. Only suggestion would be detailed printed instructions for TV use.

Cozy country cottage

Very comfortable place to stay. Quiet country setting with a nice yard. Jim is a good host. The house was SPOTLESS. The only negative was a (musty) odor, as is common in a lot of old country cottages. We always bring a candle warmer with us when traveling, so it covered any odors

Hurley stay

Very nice house and location. We read a lot, and living room did not have adequate reading lamps. The one lamp available worked but the lighting piece was not fitted into the holder. Also suggest safety bar in tub. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very impressed overall. Extremely comfortable and clean place to stay. Well equipped with everything needed. One recommendation….better directions are needed on operating the TV. Couldn’t figure out how to operate via internet and could only get reruns. Other than that, I highly recommend this property.

Exploring the Hudson Valley

The location of the house was perfect for exploring the area. Easy access to major routes. The farthest we had to travel was 30 miles.The house was nicely remodeled with an open floor plan. It was smartly decorated. The furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen was well appointed if you wanted to do some cooking. Directions for using the thermostat and TV are definitely needed. We travel a great deal and this gave us a run for our money. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Sweet Home Away from Home

We have rented many homes in many locations via VRBO. This home was located in a quiet neighborhood not far from other locations (Woodstock, Kingston, Stone Ridge, Rhinebeck, Omega Institute,.....). We slept well. Home had everything we needed. It would be helpful to have a "house manual" that covered basis things; for example, is there recycling? garbage cans? However, we did just fine for the 6 nights we stayed. We will definitely return. Thank you, Jim.

Quiet location

This quiet property is on a cul-de-sac and nicely rennovated. The yard and landscaping were overgrown.The kitchen is well equipped, but there is no pantry (outside salt and pepper) so be prepared to shop if you want to cook. We had issues with internet and getting the TV to work a couple evenings. If you're looking for a small bungalow and aren't planning to spend time in the yard - it's the place for you.

I apologize very much for the Internet we had some major storms actually a tornado not too far from there that took down some wires and spectrum was very very busy so they didn’t get to fix the wire right away but the Internet is fixed as of now that’s basically the same problem with the gardener he was taking care of a lot of tree damage and missed us for a week and a half I apologize again

Great Choice

Cozy 2 bed, 1 bath. Sparkling clean, very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee machine. Owner left some coffee pods and sugar. Cooking oils, foil etc were available and very much appreciated. Quiet neighborhood near to many destinations such as Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Kingston and Saugerties. There's no indoor dining area except for 2 bar stools at a peninsula. There is a concrete pad out back with a table and 4 chairs, view in backyard is expansive and lovely but hard to determine where the owners property ended. All in all met our needs and was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect Couple Getaway (or small family)

The property was immaculate with terrific fit and finish. Fast Internet at 200 down 15 up. Clean, neat, extra of all the essentials and plenty of you're looking to cook for yourself. Great A/C to beat the heat and right in the middle of great areas to hike and tour like Woodstock, Sagerties, and Rhinebeck. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint and Quiet

This home is on an extremely quiet street just 10-15 minutes from the sights of Kingston. It is also a short drive to Rhinebeck and other towns. The homeowner paid careful attention to detail in designing this rental home. The mattress, sheets, duvet and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom has a strong shower head and shelf to place personal items. The kitchen has granite countertops and is stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. It is a quiet retreat after a day of touring.
