Our stay was amazing. It is a beautiful house and we were comfortable from the get go. Dan’s communication was detailed and thoughtful. The birds were fun to watch and we were treated to awesome sunsets. It is a great place to relax after a full day of exploring. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Zephyrus Cottage in Sullivan. The lakefront setting was beautiful and peaceful, and the location was perfect for exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, ME. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great vacation. The nightly astronomy show was amazing ! It was a pleasure to stay at the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

We loved this house and the location. After 8 years visiting this area, I think this is the nicest house where we've stayed. Some really nice details that other hosts overlook: stainless cookware, great spice selection, nice sheets, and quality toilet paper.

Lovely secluded property located in woods of Sullivan. Loved the peaceful setting on Flanders Pond. Amazing sunsets and star gazing, with beautiful water view from common area. The house is comfortable and has all the basic necessities, and then some.Had a fantastic week here! Explored Bar Harbor, and Acadia, as well as Schoodic Peninsula. Lots to do! Will need to come back!

Wonderful Stay

Had a great stay here! Loved the location being a bit of the beaten path, and away from the crowds in Bar Harbor or Ellsworth. The proximity to the Schoodic Peninsula was a nice treat, and we really enjoyed exploring Winter Harbor and the Scoodic side of Acadia National Park!

Very nice, well equipped house in a tranquil setting. Our family with older kids enjoyed our stay very much. The beds are comfortable and there is so much to do in the local area. Dan has provided a lovely retreat and tons of useful information on just about everything you need to know to enjoy your stay in Maine.

Maine Vacation

This house/cabin is well kept is a quiet area in the Acadia area. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake and the time to just unplug and relax.

We loved this place. It was perfect for Sunset pictures to cooking live lobsters -the Maine experience! Location was perfect as not far from Acadia or bar harbor. Dan was great

Great family trip to Acadia

Property was very clean and comfortable for my family of 5. Dan was very responsive. Property is about 30 minutes from Schoodic region and an hour from Bar Harbor… but all easy scenic drives. On a lake with lots of birds and wildlife in the area. We would stay again.

Family summer trip

The cottage was very comfortable. The view from the dock was beautiful, especially at sunset. We were able to get to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island, and then had a quiet home base to return to everyday. The Schoodic peninsula trails are close. We enjoyed lunch on the Wharf in Corea. I would definitely come back for another stay.
