Great location. Love the beach and hot tub. We’ve stayed here before and will again. Easy access to Yachats and Waldorf and Newport for eating and activities.

The home itself is very comfortable and the views from the deck are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. Reynolds Creek is a few steps away and is just beautiful. Breathtaking sunrise and sunset views makes it feel like you are alone in paradise, no exaggeration.The shared driveway access makes it feel less private but only until you get inside and then you see you are surrounded by the marvelous hedges housing birds and bunnies.The home could use a new set of pots and pans, but we managed and it didn’t detract from the fact that we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

The location is perfect and the beach access was wonderful and easy for seniors to use. The kitchen pots and pans could use replacing but we managed just fine. The things that were less pleasant were not forseeable and certainly not controllable by the management. The home next door is also a rental and shares the entrance from the highway. The guests there could have been a bit quieter but it didn’t ruin our stay. The home to the left is having work done and again, distracting, but won’t ruin the experience. This is a lovely, pet friendly home, very, very comfortable. The decks are perfect for enjoying the sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee and the beach area is breathtaking.

Perfect Oceanside Getaway

This is our second time staying at this oceanside home. The location is perfect for us—steps away from a quiet beach, yet a few minutes easy drive to the Green Salmon coffee/tea house and many other restaurants, stores and shops, not to mention all the trails and parks to explore. With 2 bedrooms, both with adjoining bathrooms, we were more than comfortable after an evening of stargazing from the hot tub. We look forward to our next visit!

Easy access to beautiful beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this place for a few reasons. It was very clean and was stocked better than most places we stayed. Not because it had so much stuff, but because it had fewer things but they covered a wide range of needs and were organized so well. Most places have doubles and triples of things you don’t need and you have to look through every drawer to find what you do need. The path to the beach was well maintained and safe. The beds actually had very good mattresses. If you cracked a window the oceans roar was wonderful. The living room furniture was comfortable enough but in need of cleaning. There is no fireplace which for me is disappointing and the property sits on Highway 101 so you can hear traffic. It has a lovely deck, good barbecue. Kitchen appliances need updating. We’re going back this summer, so I guess that’s the biggest positive. And Ocean Odyssey is one of the best coastal agencies we’ve ever dealt with.

This is a two bedroom home with a small kitchen and great access to a huge beach. The only downside which is a small downside is there were stickers in the backyard on the way to the path to the beach. So we had to carry our dog from the deck to the path. Luckily, our Dad dog is 16 pounds. That truly is a small price to pay for such a nice proximity to the beach.

Waldport beach house

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this rental. The beach access was the best we have had after many trips to the Central Oregon Coast. Long beautiful beach. The house had everything we needed, including the hot tub. The rental company was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Only good thing was the view/beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will keep this simple as it is a limited space. DO NOT STAY HERE if you care about any of the following things:- Ease of Use: No details about how things work- light switches control phone, internet, TV - not lights. It's all a guessing game. It was actually very concerning as it seems the wiring is a mess.- Cleanliness: Home was Dirty! Shower curtain mold, skylight covered in poop, Dust Everywhere, cobwebs, flooding toilet, etc.- Kitchen amenities: NO TOASTER??? Weird, right? Oven filthy, chipped dishes, not organized at all.- Comfort: couches not comfortable, limited seating (not for 6 people), furniture filthy, patio chairs were gross, I have seen better towels for $3 at Goodwill - the ones at this home were rags. - Extras: Hot tub shut off and we couldn't use it - property management came and fixed but it never got over 95 degrees.I have rented homes on the coast for 8 years now and this is by far the worst. I loved the view and beach, but that didn't make up for the house. It was a mess and VERY disappointing. If all you care about is the view and the beach, fine. But don't think the home will be comfortable or clean. I'm not a snob and I don't care about size of home or anything, but I expect cleanliness and comfort and should be able to turn on the TV without an instruction manual. These things do not exists here. So many other options out there. Ocean Odyssey was great in helping us, but this home is a disaster and shouldn't be a rental. I wouldn't let my family stay here for free.

We enjoyed walking directly out to the beach, with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Tillicum beach is not crowded. In fact, you may often have the whole beach to yourself! A wonderful place to walk and unwind. We loved it!
