Great view. Convenient walking distance close to shops and Marina. Get the all inclusive bracelet that the hotel offers for a very reasonable price. It is not all you can eat and drink but a nightly shows along with poolside activities. Thanks Rosaria. It was a pleasure.

Tesoro/Ixtapa condo in beach

This is the second time we stayed at this condo. Very comfortable and clean. A/c works great. View of beach and ocean is great. Easy communication and checkin with hostess. The only drawbacks are: 1) humming noise on balcony from nearby a/c unit, and 2) frying pans are not too good - need to be careful not to burn your eggs! Overall we really enjoy our stay here!

Live Ixtapa

Property is good. All amenities are good and we enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with air conditioner noise and Rosario and Rita fixed it in a very timely and Professional manner. Front decks are a bit disappointing because of the noise of air conditioning unit int e building next door

Condo stay at tesoro

Loved this place and would go back! Great location walking distance to restaurants and small grocery store. Great ocean view. VERY comfortable bed. Comfortable sofas. A/C worked great. Kitchen well equipped. Great communication with the owner. All questions answered quickly. The only downside is that a nearby loud machine makes sitting outside on the balcony a little less pleasant. Thankfully you can’t hear the noisy machine inside the condo when the sliding glass doors are closed.

Good place for a week or two

The condominium is just as shown. See reviews for Hotel Tersaro for info about the building, pool, amenities. Pros: Superb onsite person; Rita. High pressure hot water. The two best restaurants in Ixtapa are outside the door (Bogarts, Soliado) Located in middle of the best beach. Easy, fun, combi ride to Zihuatanejo, Soriana, La Ropa, and Malicon. Cons: Noise. Not the owner's fault. Air conditioner racket from resort next door and beach weddings. It startled us at first but I guess you get used to it. Overall, we're pleased with this vacation.

Nice view and good location.

Pros: Great location. Easy walking to shopping and lots of restaurants! Our favorite breakfast place was The Generals. Loved the walking paths. Weather was perfect. Great beach for walking. Cons: The condo could use some updating as well as new balcony chairs. I did not like all the steps going up and down to the pool, and did not like pool chairs being saved by 7:00 am, even though there was a sign saying that was not allowed. Also, I’am 5 and a half feet, and I had to stand on my tip toes as soon as I entered the pool. If we were to go to Ixtapa again, we would look for a condo in another resort, not Tesoro.

Will never stay there again

Very moldy shower curtains, rusty and very dusty fans, old and rusty shower fans and shower soap holders. Futon couch not comfortable feels like your going to fall back. Couches are covered with moving blankets. No water dispenser just a 5 gallon bottle water. Table not stable and tips over when you put your elbows on it. Only gives you minimal paper supply. Had to leave early due to bug bites from the bed. Will never recommend this place. Condo needs to updated.

Terrible location of condo

This unit is located on the fifth floor in between several other “condos”which are actually resorts. our balcony directly to the left is a hotel that has six air compressors air conditioners, and despite the fact that we were five floors up, it felt like these air compressors were sitting on our patio, making our patio virtually unuseable because of the noise from these units, in our unit, the range hood didn’t work, of the ceilings fans in the living room, didn’t work, and there was no air conditioner in the second bedroom. There was mould and debris on the air return units. All the furniture is dented, missing, paint chipped. The unit showed a sofa loveseat in the living room, and it had a sofa and a futon making the futon Uncomfortable to sit on with no side arms. Our 14 day stay did not include any housekeeping the water that we received wasn’t already opened container from other guests.

Do NOT book this unit

Do not stay here. This property description is completely misleading. Everything about the unit is tired, dilapidated or just plain worn out. The furniture is covered with black, quilted blankets (like the kind movers use), the bathrooms BOTH need to be gutted and completely renovated, some of the electrical components are compromised. I turned off a bed side lamp and received a shock that left a burn mark on my finger. The other bedroom ceiling fan makes ALOT of noise and wobbles, and the entire place needs a new coat of paint. We booked for 9 days and stayed ONE. Couldn't reach anyone at VRBO (except by text) as our phones didn't work in Mexico. Ended up having a conversation on VRBO CHAT, but they really weren't equipped to deal with it and referred us to the international customer service line. When we tried calling that, we just got a message in Spanish saying they could not connect our call. So now I'm home and dealing with it. I waited to post this review to see if VRBO was going to stand behind the usual quality rentals we've all come to expect, but I have not had a response to my lengthy conversation and email on March 11th. I am not trying to be vindictive here, I just don't want you to pin your hopes and hard-earned vacation time on this unit, as you will be profoundly disappointed.

Love the view and location!

This place is in need of some updating but provides what you need for a fun vacation. One recommendation I would make is to have a folder with information about the condo. From the internet password to tv to laundry we had to figure everything out for ourselves.

Excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay at Tesoro, the location is great, right on the beach and walking distance to everything you may need. Rosaria was an excellent communicator, we had a couple small issues that she resolved instantly. I would highly recommend this property.

Nice time in Ixtapa

The unit has very comfortable furnishings, was clean, has a nice layout, but more guest non-refridgerated food storage space would be nice. We had a great time at this resort.

Condo had a beautiful ocean view from the deck.

The owner was great to deal with. Whatever questions we had she responded immediately. The condo was well equipped and clean. Tesoro hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The weekends were very busy at the pool but the beach is the best place to be. We wished there was wifi in the condo but at least you could get it in the hotel lobby. We love Ixtapa and we sure are going to miss daily walks on the beach. The condo is situated where you can walk almost anywhere in the town.
