Niché sur la rive sud du lac Supérieur, Jarven Hytti est une expérience de luxe. Le cadre privé offre une vue magnifique sur le lac et sa plage d'agate de sable rose. Ce n'est pas votre cabine typique des bois du nord, la maison de plage finlandaise d'inspiration architecturale est spectaculaire. Il peut accueillir confortablement 8 personnes. Et, les deux salles de bains modernes et soignées accueillent confortablement ses invités. Une cuisine moderne et entiÚrement équipée, une grande salle familiale avec une cheminée en pierre, des chambres confortables et une cheminée sur le pont ajoutent à la maison de vacances confortable et fonctionnelle. Les draps de luxe et les iris lacustres nains complÚtent un cadre de séjour vraiment merveilleux. This is the cleanest, most well stocked house we’ve ever stayed in! It was like being welcome at a dear friend’s home where you need to ask for nothing as it’s so thoughtfully ready for you. All of the essentials were there and much more. Heidi even left us with home made french crepes for breakfast, sourdough choco-chip cookies and fresh cream for the great coffee provided! Our table was set for breakfast and the house was decorated for Christmas, even a & mistletoe! We had a white Christmas and hiked up and down the frozen beach with our doggie loving it. We even trudged thru snow in the porkies and on trails along spectacular icy waterfalls. Thank you, Ivan and thank you, Heidi, for a most memorable Christmas for all our family. We hope to return again for more of your hospitality and the beauty of Lake Superior and the UP of Michigan!

Amazing, beautiful stay. Was so close to everything we wanted to do at Porcupine and the scenery coming off the beach patio was the cherry on top. After busy days, to be able to come back, relax, kick up the fire place with comfort and all the things we needed. Thank you so much and we would absolutely come back if ever in the area again!

Extraordinary property. Beautifully designed and maintained. Location perfect for exploring Porcupine Mt State Park. Lovely beach for swimming and rock hounding. (For you geology buffs, we saw examples Omars and Oolitic jasper- glacial erratics from Hudson Bay’s Belcher islands.)We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor fireplaces but would have appreciated brief instructions re: need to ignite pilot lights which we did eventually figure out. Thank you for sharing this amazing home!

This place is fantastic! Just steps from the beach. The pictures look like its on a hill, but it's just a short stairway then a broadwalk to beach and deck area. We used the fireplace and loved that our pooch could accompany us. The water is so clean! Walked the beach daily.

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO more than any other that we've ever stayed at. The house was immaculate, as well as the decks, both on the house and at the beach. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on the cool days and evenings. We spent the week beachcombing for rocks and driftwood, exploring the Porky's, Agate and Bond Falls, and highly recommend touring the Ontonagon lighthouse. Perfect To Get Away With Friends!

What a great property! I have been visiting the Ontonagon area for 20 years (RV, Resorts, cabins, homes) this was my very favorite. Comfortable, well appointed, boardwalk to Lake Superior lakefront patio and firepit. Indoor & outdoor fireplaces for a cozy read on a rainy day Homemade treats for humans & my dog, Sony!

This was our second time staying and we loved it just as much. The house is so thoughtfully designed and comfortable. It is clean with all the amenities needed. We love walking along the sandy beach, meals on the deck, and enjoying fires and stargazing by the lake. The house is convenient for the Porkies, waterfalls, and other sights in the area. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again!

Everything and more!

We got a later start to our day then we had hoped for so we knew we would be arriving well after the check in time. Check in was a breeze though! We had fresh homemade blueberry crepes waiting for us in the fridge to just reheat, which was a great since we didn't have a chance to do much shopping yet. We ate them for breakfast the next morning in front of the outdoor fireplace and they were delicious! They also made some sweet potato treats for our pup that he loooved! The walk to the beach was not far away from the property and filled with flowers and trees giving off the most beautifully fresh smells. The deck and firepit were at the top of the rocks going down into the beach area breaking the area up nicely incase you didn't want to get splashed, and just hangout by the firepit. Falling asleep to the waves was a huge bonus too! This was exactly what we were looking for and more. I suggest doing any grocery shopping before you get into the area because the closest store had some pretty bad reviews and the only other close option was the dollar general. Their selection wasn't bad and came in handy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and have already suggested the property to some friends looking for a relaxing trip.

This was such a relaxing and enjoyable setting. Our boys and dog loved being right in the lake. The home was totally stocked with everything needed, very clean, comfortable beds too! The host was amazing. They made us homemade blueberry crepes, homemade cookies, and even homemade dog treats!

Amazing stay!

Beautiful and spotless cabin with an awesome location. Really enjoyed the sound of the waves of Lake Superior, the birds in the morning, and relaxing at the beach! Internet was great, which allowed me to work remotely as needed and still enjoy the remote U.P. countryside!
