Belle maison personnalisée directement sur les rives sablonneuses du lac Supérieur à Ontonagon, MI. À seulement 5 km du centre-ville et à 21 km en voiture de la base des montagnes Porcupine, où vous pourrez participer à une randonnée sans fin et à une exploration des cascades. Trois chambres le maître a un lit king size, deux chambres à l'étage une avec des lits superposés et un lit queen l'autre avec des lits superposés et un lit queen size. Cuisine entièrement équipée, barbecue à gaz, foyer et meubles de patio inclus. Accès à la plage du lac supérieur à quelques pas du pont avant. Grande allée du rond-point et accès à un garage attenant pour deux voitures. Blanchisserie sur place. Accès à toute la maison sauf une petite salle de stockage pour le nettoyage des fournitures qui est fermée à clé et le sous-sol inachevé

The house was set up perfect for our group of 5. More than enough room so everyone had their own space. The bear mount in the living room was a unique touch. Loved the windows looking out to Lake Superior!

This home is great. Good communication with host. This might be silly but you might want to consider bringing tin foil and Ziplock baggies if you use those items often. We did not find those items. Not a deal breaker by any means, just a heads up. Would recommend this home for sure.

Loved the big kitchen, huge deck and outside area. Everybody loved rock hunting on the beach.

We had a great time eating and drinking by the fire. Hiking the porkies during the day, and took a day trip to Houghton. The house was a welcome sight every time we came back to it. The view and the house were great, very spacious, we had 8 of us in the kitchen a lot and didn’t seem crowded. Jason was responsive and we appreciated the stay. Would stay here again

Perfect Covid getaway for our family at Christmas time. Jason even decorated the lake house with a Christmas tree. Would stay again!

Fabulous rental

This rental was Amazing! Tasteful decor, super clean, easy to find, private. The big lake as our scenery was the highlight. We had miles of sandy beach to explore. All that and pet friendly to top it off. We will be back to the Lake House again!

Would highly recommend. Beautiful sunsets, starry skies, plenty of space. Our family enjoyed our stay. We hiked the Porcupine Mountains, took a copper mine tour nearby and relaxed by the lake. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, amazing views, and everything you could ask for in your UP stay. Very conveniently located close to Porcupines for hiking.Kitchen well appointed with everything you need to cook, grocery store close in town for supplies. Everything was clean, beds and bedding very comfortable. Enough hangers in the closet and towels in the bathroom. Although we stayed with just 4 of us, home sleeps 10 very comfortably. Host is an outstanding communicator.Although this beautiful home has everything - things to bring to make your stay even better? Beach towels and extra beach chairs (to sit lakeside or fireside), bug spray, trekking poles for all the great nearby hiking, flashlight. As with all VRBOs, paper goods (toweling/tp/kleenex), laundry soap etc. Don’t pass this one up.

The Lake House is even more beautiful than the pictures depicted. We explored water falls and beaches from Ironwood to Copper Harbor, The Lake House made a perfect base, and a treat to come back to each day! Looking forward to our next visit!

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property right on Lake Superior. Convenient to the Porcupine Mountains and to Ontonagon but set back far enough to be quiet and isolated. Lots of room, good internet, and plenty of amenities. Host was very easy to work with and communicative. Highly recommend.

The Lake House- Amazing!!

Incredible , huge home directly on the shore of Lake Superior. Supplies and equipment were plentiful!! The owner even allowed us in an hour early! Very clean and perfect for our family that needed three separate bedrooms! We will be back! Thanks for the amazing memories!!

Great stay at the Lake House

This was our 2nd stay at the Lake House since Fall 2019. It is a wonderful home with plenty of space to relax and has great views of Lake Superior from every seat in the house. Jason is a great host and makes everything easy with the check-in / check-out process and is always quick to help with any questions. Really enjoyed our stay and wish it would have been longer. Hope to visit again one day. We highly recommend the Lake House as a spot to stay if you are vacationing in the Ontonagon area!

Amazing House and Location

Beautiful large home on Lake Superior with many amenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake view and lake access are wonderful. The rooms offer plenty of areas for activities. Attached garage was nice. We had a snowstorm and watched the scenery go from bare ground to snow-covered! The kitchen was very nice for a large group. A few more kitchen utensils, baking sheets and silverware would be a suggestion. Owner quickly answered any messages we sent! A great stay and would recommend!

Prettiest place on Earth

A beautiful house with even more beautiful view of Lake Superior. The sunsets are breathtaking. Bonfires by the beach complements the waves. Loved drinking coffee in the morning or sipping on a glass of wine in the evening while gazing into the endless horizon. Loved cooking and baking in that big kitchen. There were plenty of dishes and cookware. Would go back on a heartbeat!! Thank you!!

Parents Time Out

This trip was mainly to have a time out. Two sets of couples married for 15 plus years. Both couples have 4 kids... some are teenagers... we literally needed to have rest, relaxation and a parent time out! This place was amazing. We did not have the best weather when we went but we enjoyed sitting on the couch and watching the waves. It was just peaceful. The kitchen was amazing and we loved just hanging out at the counter chatting. The beds were comfortable and I loved that with the bad weather we could pull in the garage and unload right to the kitchen instead of getting soaked. A very amazing place, amazing view. Only suggestion would be if you go here bring a game to donate to the house. There is not a huge game selection that I found and the games I did find were missing pieces. There needs to be a dedicated game shelf with puzzles and assortment of games for all ages. We could have went and bought some games but it was late when we decided we wanted to play a game. We will definitely be coming back here again! We loved it!
