THE UNIQUENESS OF STAYING IN A HISTORICAL MONUMENT (100 m² – 1076 sq ft)

A truly unique experience. This amazing apartment within the Palais Royal is a real treat. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre and a few steps from Opera. A prime location in the very heart of historical Paris. Through time, it’s inhabitants include prominent figures such as Cardinal Richelieu, King Louis XIII,Louis XIV and the Bonaparte family.

An extraordinary place to stay with it’s unmatched view from the apartment windows overlooking the charming gardens and fountain of Palais Royal. This superb apartment has a great and layout with two spacious bedrooms with splittable king size beds and two bathrooms, one of which has a separate WC, a grand living room and a fully equipped kitchen and dinning area. The apartment has been modernized to give maximum comfort and to make your stay memorable.

This apartment is also a perfect spot to organise fashion and jewelry showrooms as it is in the heart of Fashion week’s most thriving events! Subject to specific rates so don’t hesitate to contact us for a quote.

MINIMUM STAY: We do have a one week rental policy, so the weekly rate applies even for shorter stays if the apartment is available for one full week. We can only prorate the nights if the apartment is available for fewer nights between other bookings OR ACCEPT A SHORTER STAY IF REQUESTED AT THE LAST MINUTE. So don't hesitate to check with us, we usually have last minute deals where we can accept a shorter stay without applying the minimum week policy.


Important Notice

The French government has announced they will be banning all AC systems that run on water by October 1st 2025 as it is obviously a huge waste of water and we all have to act on this environmental problem the best we can.
Therefore, as nearly all of our installations are concerned with this new law, We will be stopping the use of such units (to this day they were the only systems we are able to install in old Parisian buildings.) by its legal date. In regards to our guests' comfort, we will provide portable mobile AC units, fans, and air coolers depending on the configurations of the apartment.

Pleasant location in the heart of Paris

Good location overlooking the gardens of the Palais Royal. So much to do in the area, and close to several metro lines. Property manager did an excellent job keeping in touch during our stay. We did have to deal with period noise from our neighbors, especially on weekend late evenings.

Really nice apartment unfortunately the stay was ruined by the absolute rudeness of property manager Clara Never have I been spoken to in that way by anyone before let alone someone I was paying an exorbitant amount to use their service

Hi Grace Please do give the details as I have never spoken to you directly as you well know. My main contact was your mother-in-law Sonya who arrived first and whom I met for the check-in. Check in that I waited for 4 hours since she never notified us of her flight change. She started ordering me around through text messages all the way from the airport to the apartment and then once she arrived she seemed to be completely high and disorientated. She wouldn't listen to a word of information and then let me remind you, you couldn't get a hold of her when you were on your way to the apartment a few hours later and we had to find someone from the team to come and open the door for you... In my fourteen years at Paris Vacation Apartments greeting multiple guests, never have I had to set boundaries with a guest because of the rudeness and obnoxious behavior and tone she had with me over the phone and through texts.... Also never have we had such disrespect towards our cleaning staff with the apartment left in such a horrible state they were afraid to touch things ... I will not dwell into the details... And please note that the request she demanded we did provide within the time she requested it. We did do the necessary on our end each time despite her lack of manners. Next time you travel I hope you will be more respectful of the property as well as the staff, respect and politeness go a long way. And on the final note, you ruined a bed with wine and coffee stains that do not wash away and we have sent you a link to pay for the damage that you have never paid despite multiple reminders and VRBO client service interaction. You also went silent from the moment we requested the money and never replied to our calls, emails, or texts. You never gave us your check-out time and you left the apartment door wide open for any stranger to walk in when you left.... Congrats you have been our worst clients and we have blacklisted you for any future stays in any of our apartments. Clara

Our trip to Paris for a wedding!

My husband and I, and my stepson and his wife, came to Paris from the US for the wedding of our 2010 foreign exchange student. We stayed at this property for four nights. It was wonderful. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had two large bedrooms with private baths which was perfect for the four of us. The living room was spacious and provided a very comfortable area for all of us to relax and discuss the days events. The location was awesome. Many restaurants, shops and site seeing locations within walking distance. The subway trains were very close, so we had no trouble getting around the city. We would recommend this flat to anyone looking for an upscale, luxurious apartment, with a full Parisian flare.

The building this apartment is in was built in 1680. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre. Originally called the Palais-Cardinal, the palace was the personal residence of Cardinal Richelieu. At his death, it became the property of the King and was re-named, Palais Royal. After Louis XIII's death, it became the home of Queen Mother Anne of Austria and her young sons Louis XIV and Philippe, Duc d'Anjou along with her advisor Cardinal Mazarin. The royal families continued living in the palace until the Revolution and later was also home to the cadet branch of the Bonaparte family under the Second Empire.
