What an awesome house!

Great house for families

We spent 4 nights here recently with two other families, 6 adults and 10 kids in total. The house was perfect for our needs. The kids loved the pool, closeness the beach, and the classic video game console. We cooked every night and had everything we needed. We’re already planning next year’s trip.

Very nice home on a beautiful beach at Ocean Isle!

This was a wonderful family vacation week at Ocean Isle! The home at 3 Coggeshall was very nice and well-maintained with lots of space for dining, games, and just visiting. We enjoyed fun times on the beautiful beach with children and grandchildren! Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely schedule another family vacation at Coggeshall, Ocean Isle, NC! The property location is ideal away from the crowd. The ocean is right outside the property and access to and from the beach is perfect. The property is somewhat dated but we spent the vast majority of our time at the beach. The property manager is amazing and very informative. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful location, clean and cozy. Only drawback was the advertising of the indoor golf which was not working and the grill needs cleaned. It was awfully dirty and not able to be used.

What a fantastic week!

The house and its amenities were exactly as advertised. No surprises. The extra touches provided by the owner were much appreciated. This was a perfect setting for a large (11) family vacation. The house, with its many levels, provided plenty of privacy if needed. The hosts were exceptional in giving out information and answering any questions we had. It was a fantastic week. *The only negative would be that the grill was pretty nasty and had to be CLEANED before use.*

Summer with friends

We loved this house! Very clean and the pictures did not do it justice! It was beautiful! We traveled with friends for the 4th of July and did day trips to Southport and Oak Island! The beach was perfect for the kids and the water was so warm! The pool was small, but a perfect asset to the property! Kids loved to cool off and relax! The table was large for all of us to eat and play games! Open the double doors for the soothing sounds of the waves! The property management was easy to get ahold of for any questions we had! We had a great time and recommend this house! Thank you for sharing!

Beach Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the house for the most part. The location of the house is great. However, there are a few things that were missing: - no bath soap or hair product dispensers as seen in other rental properties - very little toilet paper and paper towels provided - not enough bath towels - the bathrooms had partially filled hand soap bottles (couldn’t they have been refilled)? - the pictures of the gym and golf simulator were nothing like they really looked - both smelled musty, and both were dirty - the gym equipment is old - the golf simulator didn’t work properly; the property manager didn’t know how to work it anyway - the entry level smelled musty - no dish towels in the kitchen - the dishwasher smelled awful, even after we used it - the pool filter was not working well (per the pool guy) Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we feel the rental price was high, considering the things written above.

Perfect Beach Location for Family Vacation

This home is located on a beautiful stretch of beach perfect for a family vacation. The house has a layout that makes it comfortable for a large group of people to easily gather and also have spots for quiet time. The kitchen is incredibly stocked with all you need. The pool is a lovely option for when we were ready for a break from the sand and to stay close to home when kiddos were napping. I very much appreciated the personal interaction with the local property managers who did a walk-through during check-in and quickly took care of any minor issues that came up. Although I was a bit nervous with lag time in the communication before we arrived, once we were there, response time was within minutes. They really made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Something that could use improvement is the lower level where the gym and golf game are located. They had a strong mildew/mold smell that made us not want to use it. I understand the damp beach location presents challenges in this arena, but perhaps something else can be done to help? I noticed some previous comments noting the grill was so dirty is wasn't usable, but I believe they replaced it recently and supplied good cleaning tools, so we used it regularly and it worked great.

GREAT FAMILY VACATION!

This house provided EVERYTHING we needed and more! The thing that brought us the most joy was seeing out 90-year old mother enjoying most of every day on the upper porch… the great beach view, the breeze, watching the children play in the water and sand, the dolphins in the ocean, and the deer and red foxes in the dunes! 😳 She didn’t have to miss a thing even though she has limited mobility! The kitchen is well-stocked. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Beach towels are an added bonus! Lots of beach and pool toys. Abundant amount of beautiful and comfortable deck furniture! Golf simulator was a real hit with the golfers! Two large and one small refrigerator were super convenient! A short walk across the street leads to beautiful sunsets!!! The unobstructed view down the strand is phenomenal! Property manager, Dean, and her husband, David, were amazing! They were so helpful before we even got there, and were available to answer questions, make recommendations/suggestions, and take care of our few needs right away! I can’t say enough about how great they are!! (Be sure to visit their art gallery, Seascape Designs, while you’re in the area.)

Perfect home for multi-generational vacation

This home is ideal for all ages to vacation together. The elevator allows those with limited mobility to fully participate indoors and out, and assists with everyone being able to bring in / out luggage. The pool was perfect, especially on late October evenings. We were impressed with the well-stocked kitchen. Having linens provided and already on beds was truly appreciated. Loved having a pack n play and high chair. The baths are good, too, for kids and older family members. Hosts are very responsive. We were delighted that hurricane Ian 3 weeks prior to our stay did minimal damage to the beach access steps AND that it was repaired prior to our arrival. Great vacation in a beautiful home with exceptional hosts.

Great beach home, great owners, would rent again

The house was exactly as listed and the communication with the owners was seamless. It was right after hurricane Ian so we had some concerns, but the owners sent pictures and communicated with us right away. The also provided help with a chef and clear and proper directions. We would def rent this property again if we came back to ocean isle! Thanks for the great family vacation!

House with everything!

Beautiful property that catered to all of our wishes and more. Awesome communication with Host. We can't say enough about this home. It was fully loaded with necessities and more. Beach was steps away. Truly awesome place to stay!
