Home is exactly as shown in photos, and the location truly cannot be beat. A morning walk to Starbucks for coffee. Meeting friends at a myriad of nearby restaurants, all walking. And the Publix, also in walking distance, is a fantastic Publix. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location and pool area

Couldn’t be happier with my stay. Walking distance to local restaurants, bars and supermarket. Downtown is a short drive away. We enjoyed the pool area and bbq during our stay. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay and still be close to the city.

Wonderful property!

We had a fabulous time at Michelle's cute bungalow! What a perfect location, walking distance to the grocery store, coffee shop, and more bars and restaurants than we had time for. Michelle was an amazing host, she has great communication, was very attentive but also respected our privacy in her home. And a virtual paradise in the backyard! I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Relaxing

We were in Tampa to visit family. House was perfect for me and my husband. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard which was fabulous - covered porch, tv, pool, lots of seating and a propane heater for the chilly nights. Neighborhood was great and close to stores and restaurants. Communication with the property manager was on point Would stay here again!!

Transported to Key West

Great location - 5minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores, easy access to the Expressway for commuting East or West. Interior spaces are perfect for 2 people. Very clean and everything needed for a comfortable stay! I was there for two weeks. The back yard/garden/pool was magical in the evenings with the indirect sunsets!!! Will be back soon!!

5 Star Stay!

Absolutely better than the photos! Excellent location within walking distance to both Howard Avenue and Hyde Park, but set far enough in a very cute neighborhood. Owner/Host Michelle was very attentive to answering any questions or needs of ours. We even stayed for Christmas and there were many holiday touches throughout. Backyard is absolutely amazing!! Super cute historic bungalow with many charming features. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook and prep food. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Tampa! Thank you Michelle!!!

Tropical Oasis!

My husband and I go down to Florida every year for the past 20 years for MLB Spring Training. This home was absolutely perfect - it fit our every need from location that provided quick access to restaurants, grocery, ballparks, etc. to having a space to come back to enjoy and relax. We looked forward to coming back to this home versus it just being a place to sleep in between games. The house was the perfect size for us and the backyard oasis is spectacular - everything you need to enjoy a relaxing dinner, swim and watch a beautiful sunset! And having an incredibly accessible, communicative and gracious host just puts a cherry on top!

This house is very pleasant and comfortable, and the covered porch is heavenly. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are many supplies in the kitchen and bath. If you forget anything, you can probably find it in a cupboard! The neighborhood felt safe, and if you’re in Tampa for fun, you can walk almost anywhere you’d want to go. The only problem we had was finding a parking spot when we got home about 9:00 PM on Saturday night after spending the day with family. We did find a place after driving in circles for twenty minutes. We highly recommend the rental.

Saturday nights are definitely busy in the SOHO area. There is a private parking space in the back of the property if no spots are available in front of the house. I wish I would have known you were having difficulties finding a spot. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and you are welcome back at anytime.

Older property that needs work

Michelle was helpful and responsive with our questions. The outside pool was also nice and the location was close to the shops and restaurants in Hyde Park. But unfortunately the rest of the property wasn't as was portrayed. The inside was tired, the lighting at night was dreary and dark, the mattress was uncomfortable (lumpy and soft), the shower was old and the cupboards were dirty. In summary, it wasn't what we expected based on what we read.

Thank you for your feed back. The bungalow is over 60 years old and it’s always been important for us to keep the timeless original ambience of the Era. Bathroom is original along with lighting and some of the decor. The kitchen has been completely upgraded and I will make the cleaners aware that they missed a cupboard. This is the first I have heard of this oversight.

Relaxing Bungalow Stay

We enjoyed ourselves, the backyard pictures don't do the space justice for how relaxing it is. Great location, was safe and walkable to a number of bars/restaurants and a grocery store. Tons of Dog Walking going on in the area and we enjoyed the bungalow style houses. Had no problem finding street parking. Would visit again!

Great location, house and patio/pool

We had a wonderful stay in Tampa. The house was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The back deck and private pool were a great area to both relax and to get work done. The location was ideal. We could easily walk to the bayfront, South Howard restaurants and Hyde park shopping district. Took longer walks to the University of Tampa area and Riverwalk. Michelle made sure we had everything we needed for our vacation. Would absolutely stay here again!
