College visits

My daughter and I stayed here to visit some colleges in the area and it was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and the neighborhood was adorable. My only complaint was the parking. Two nights we returned and had to drive around several times to find a street spot. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Trip to Santa Monica

Great location. A few blocks from the beach, good restaurants and cafes. Very clean and neat. Quiet, historic neighborhood. Much different vibe than Venice Beach or downtown Santa Monica, which are just minutes away.

Cute apartment in a great location

Very clean and nicely appointed ground level apartment under an older home that's been subdivided into 3 separate rentals. Short walk to the beach and good restaurants. Street parking wasn't a problem. Devon was a responsive host and immediately took care of our request by sending out her handyman to take care of a minor situation. Regarding the home itself, just be aware that you will likely have people above you during your stay (we had a toddler above us that liked to run) and you will hear toilets flush, muffled conversations and footsteps (or in our case, running little feet). There is no view as the neighbor's homes are close and the windows are covered in blinds for your privacy. This apartment is the perfect hub if you want to be gone all day sightseeing, but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic vacation or if you are bothered by hearing other guests above you. Otherwise, it's a gem and Devon is truly a wonderful host.

Fantastische Ferienwohnung

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen Nachbarschaft.Jede Menge Platz, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, supersauber, alles ist wie auf den Fotos. In wenigen Minuten ist man am Strand. Parken in der Straße war mit dem Anwohnerparkausweis jederzeit problemlos möglich. Die Kommunikation war ebenfalls topp.FĂŒr uns war es perfekt! Eine Kleinigkeit fĂŒr Leute, die es gerne ganz dunkel haben, um schlafen zu können: Richtig verdunkeln lassen sich die Fenster nicht.

LA Adventure

A brief stay was everything we had hoped for. Great location, comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, dining area, and living room. A reasonable price for a location one block from restaurants and hip clothing stores and a short jaunt to the beach. We'll definitely return.

Santa Monica week stay

we had a great stay. The location was amazing and the place was spacious and beautifully appointed. We loved spending time on the patio. Very easy communication with host and everything we needed for a great week. Close to many restaurants and easy walk to beach. Had a car with us but easily could have done without. looking forward to the next trip! Street parking was surprisingly very easy too!

Little historic gem

Highly recommend! This historic home was the highlight of our trip. Perfectly located, a short walking distance from the beach, bike rentals, restaurants and other businesses on Main St. Plenty of parking on street. The house was well equipped, on a very quiet and quaint neighborhood. The host was lovely and helpful. Hoping to rent again!

Great get away

This was 1150 the perfect place for us. We did not want to do a lot of sightseeing or tourist things. We just wanted to enjoy the beach. Although sightseeing is very possible from this location. Instead of putting our money in a car rental, we used an Uber if things were too far to walk to. And we spent less money using Uber than if we had used a car rental. We did walk to Santa Monica pier and had lunch a couple days. Our favorite place to sit was at Perry’s beach & rentals, at 2600 ocean Blvd.. Beautiful outdoor seating with wind break plexiglass to sit behind if the wind got too cold. And they even lit the propane heaters for us. They also had delicious food and drinks.

Great historic home in great location

We had a great time in the LA area and we could not have picked a better location to see everything we wanted to see! Home was very clean and the right size for us. Great place and chic neighborhood

Property was perfect for 3 sister hangout weekend. Got a chance to check out great seafood spot and wine (Crudo e Nudo) one night and cook-in another. Had all the kitchen amenities for breakfasts and one dinner. Both beds and sofa bed were comfortable. Bathroom very functional. A lot of bedding. Cute backyard for hanging out. Overall, a great find.

House was great and clean. Good location 5-10 min from beach, depending on traffic. Food recommendations could be nice, had no idea 🙃. Bathroom quite small and blinds were see through at night, kinda scary when dont know the area. People above wake up very early. Overall, had great time and know nothing is perfect, just feedback. Great Ocean Park Rental

The unit and location are great! Beach, sites, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is cool and quiet with historic homes. The bike path and street lanes are good allowing you to get to places quickly, like the Whole Foods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Absolutely Perfect

We stayed here for the last three days of a nine-night trip to California and it was the best part of our trip. The house was beautiful and the location could not have been better. So close to the beach, the pier, and major roads to get to other parts of town, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. All the furniture was comfortable. Having separate bedrooms for us and our teenage son instead of being crammed into a hotel room made it feel like being at home. Devon was awesome - gave us all the info we needed ahead of time, checked in on us via text after we arrived, and thought of absolutely everything in furnishing and equipping the house. The beach towels, chairs, and umbrella came in especially handy. We've said every single day since we've been home how much we want to go back.
