We stayed at this incredible rental over the Christmas break ending with a mind-blowing fireworks show from the rooftop at New Year's. It is exactly what you see in the pictures, and more. The location was 'very Mexico' with cobblestone streets and the sites and sounds of daily life, people and whale watching from the patio, tons of restaurants and street food stands nearby, the local mercado a quick 10 minute walk away, and the hustle and bustle of the Malecon close by. We did a ton of walking, took an ATV tour with a company 5 mins away, spent a ton of time in the heated pool, and enjoyed quality time as a family in this picture perfect rental. I couldn't have picked a better place for a much needed family vacation and I am so grateful for all of Monica's help and suggestions and the ease in which the whole move in and move out was facilitated. Thanks a million from Canada!!!

Amazing stay

Lovely place and worth the hill! We brought our binoculars and watched whales from the balcony...wonderful home to immerse yourself in to Puerto Vallarta!

Great place with a really nice warm pool!!

Great communication and very easy check in! Had everything it needed! The hosts were very nice and easy to deal with. Hill was a bit steep to get up to the building but we were all about to manage!

Beautiful Vallarta Stay

We loved our stay here for my bachelorette party. The host decorated the property and had a book with favorite grocery stores and restaurants near by. Patty gave a is a tour of the place and told us all the details of the property. Views were great, pool was surprisingly large and temp was warm. Would definitely stay again. 5/5 stay!

Hilltop sanctuary

Wonderful property set up high so you can see the ocean and be away from the crowds. Host was very thoughtful about all your possible needs. Very comfortable furniture and beautifully decorated. Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This has been the best vacation rental I’ve stayed in. The hosts reply really fast. Paty was super friendly. Everything was perfect. On top of the service the views and property are amazing.

Lovely Condo With Great View

We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were wonderful, the space was more than adequate for three of us adults. The only drawbacks were the very steep streets and the rooster crowing at all hours of the day and night, as others have stated. Be sure to bring earplugs! The location was close to El Centro and a couple good places to eat. Be sure to go to Pepe’s Tacos!

This is living!

Private close to everything, the place was stellar and the owners are the type of people you would invite to come visit you. Just can say enough positive s about the place or the landlords. My only regret is not staying longer. I want to give them an amazing review but I don’t want anyone staying there on next trip lol!

Overall good. I would suggest: Need more beach chairs and umbrella, only 2 chairs and there was 5 of us. Shower in master suite- need shower curtain to keep water in. Lots of room for everyone was a bonus

Our new Home Away From Home

BLOWN AWAY!!! Communication prior to arrival was very quick and prompt. Upon arrival, we were met and given a tour of the home! Our entire group fell in love with EVERYTHING—secure building, beautiful pool, the spacious bedrooms/bathrooms and very clean living spaces, the kitchen, THE VIEW!! Even the thoughtful gesture to celebrate the birthday boy with decorations as well as Tequila, Margarita Mix, and ice that was provided upon our arrival to welcome us. We will definitely return and make this our Home Away From Home once again! Thank you very much for your gracious hospitality!

Incredible View

Great property. Great view and pool. Had all what we needed and very clean. Watched the sunset almost every night from the pool area and it was spectacular. The walk up the hills and the stairs was a good workout, however. The pool was refreshing but also would have been nice to have some lounge chairs by the pool for tanning. That would have made it more “resort-ish”. Only downside, and no fault of the property, was the large gravel trucks working in front and the constant noise during the day. It was hard to have a conversation outside, but I’m sure they won’t be there forever. Would recommend the place.

Birthday vacation with friends

There were a handful of us staying at the property to celebrate birthdays. When we arrived Patty greeted us and helped bring in our luggage. Once we got upstairs the condo level, we saw the private pool and INCREDIBLE view of the ocean! It’s definitely worth the hill climb or Uber/taxi ride because those sunset views are amazing! Each room has cool AC and the space was beautiful and large. They hung special banners for our birthdays, provided Coronas, and put a piñata out back for us, it was so kind and special! Honestly the roosters didn’t seem to bother any of us, but ear plugs are provided in case. Would 100% recommend for a group of people, adults or families! Everyone was so kind and accommodating!

Great Spot!

Our family of 4 (parents with 2 adult children) had a wonderful stay. The place is super clean and very well located for all you want to do in PV. I gave a 4 for the location but it is only because my husband is over 80 years old and had some difficulty walking on pebble stones and going up the hills. However, the fact you are on the hill give you this superb view that is true to the picture you see. We had Paty welcoming us and showing us the house. Communication was regular and easy. It was very appreciated. A bottle of wine, a few beers in the fridge and a bag of fresh coffee in the fridge were all we needed after a long trip to start our weeklong vacation. Don't hesitate, it is worth it!

Beautiful Views!

Loved our stay in PV. This rental is airy, spacious and really comfortable. The best part is sitting on the deck taking in the spectacular sunsets. Pool is nice for a late night cool down. Rental is situated in the 5 de Deciembre neighborhood, about a 15 min walk from the Malecón and a 5 min walk to Camarones beach. Walk home is steep but was doable for our family. Streets and sidewalks are pretty funky so play close attention when walking nearby. Dora, Ileana and Paty were very accommodating and helpful. We really appreciated their flexibility especially when our flight home was cancelled. The neighborhood is a bit of a walk to downtown (30 min) but we liked being slightly out of the noisy center. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Ubers were easy to order. Great trip was had with our two older teens with highlights including a top notch whale watching trip through Ocean Friendly Tours (Oscar is your guy!), Botanical Gardens and a boat taxi (from Boxa de Tomatlán) to a small town called Quimixto.

Comfortable and Spacious

We stayed a couple of weeks and very much appreciated the space, views, plunge pool and how well the kitchen is outfitted for cooking etc. It’s is located up in the hills and so you need to be able to negotiate a bit of steep walk up and down for a couple short blocks. Met many of the neighbors and they are very pleasant and helpful. Only downside during our stay was the amount of construction noise and traffic in the area. It’s quiet in the morning until about 8:30 am when the related traffic and 4 building construction projects in the nearby 3-4 blocks begin. Nice and quiet again after 5 pm. It’s all concrete buildings so you can here a lot of that related noise. Not sure how many months more that will continue but it seemed almost everywhere, there was something being constructed so likely hard to escape in that part of town.

Amazing property with fantastic location and service!

We booked this property to extend our stay in Puerto Vallarta. Upon arrival, we met Paty, the property manager as well as the owner. The space was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. We were also excited to see the birthday decorations and special touches that were added to celebrate our family member's birthday. The physical location was great, with close access to grocery stores, restaurants (our favorites include Pepe's Tacos and Meño's Place), and the beach. Everything is within walking distance even though there are a few pretty steep hills to climb. We were able to spend lots of time in the pool with the provided floats and water toys. The view from the terrace is truly spectacular, especially at sunset. Paty connected us with a fabulous spa experience, even helping us to make the appointments. Her kindness and helpfulness were tremendously appreciated. Our stay at Ruta Pacifico Casa Dylan was truly memorable and enjoyed! We would recommend this space for families and folks wishing to enjoy Puerto Vallarta while also living like a local.

AMAZING!!

My husband, along with my siblings and their wives vacationed at "Casa Dylan" for 10 days and cannot say enough good things about our time there! All communication with Ileana was prompt and and the few issues we had (out of Ileana's control) were dealt with and fixed almost immediately. The condo was clean, and had everything to make our stay delightful....from the three bedrooms/bathrooms to the fully supplied kitchen and even the outdoor living space! Plenty of room....and everything we needed. Paty greeted us upon arrival and answered any questions we had. They had left a large bag of ice, a bottle of wine and some snacks to greet us! What a nice surprise! The hike up the hill is a bit of a challenge, however, the view from the veranda is SPECTACULAR! Several times throughout our stay we sat poolside and watched whales (and whale calves) swim and breech and in the bay. Incredible! Easy walk to local Marcado del Mar for fresh produce/seafood. Easy walk to Malecon (boardwalk). Easy walk down to beach. It is simply a great location for a variety of activities. My family cannot say enough wonderful things about the condo, the location, the communication and the overall accommodations from Ileana and Paty Thank you for making our stay in PV so relaxing and fun. We hope to be back again some day!

Great time in PV

Our family had a great time at this house. My husband and I work remotely so we spent 8 days in PV to enjoy the weather so we would work till about noon and then vacation the rest of the day. Internet was great for working and zoom meetings. Bedrooms were large, dining area nice and kitchen had everything we needed. I enjoyed sitting out next to the pool. Would have been nice to have some lounge chairs. I used a towel and placed it on the concrete. Not the most comfortable. Pool was beautiful but was too cold. If it had been warmer weather, I'm sure it would have been fine but the weather was only 75-80 so not warm enough to take a plunge. We walked or took Uber everywhere. There are some very nice restaurants with great views nearby (Ah Carumba, Azul Celeste and Meno's Place). If you want street taco's, just walk down the hill and you'll have your share of taco stands to pick from. There's also a gym right down the hill, Simmons Gym. I got the week visitor pass for $21 US. There are a lot of comments about the dogs and roosters. The noise didn't bother us sleeping, but they supply ear plugs at the house if you are a light sleeper. The biggest thing is probably the hill. It is very steep. I used it as part of my morning workout routine but if I had my 70 year old parents, there is no way they would have been able to manage that hill (unless they are in really good shape). Work around is you can always get an Uber which is really cheap in PV. Overall, we had a great time at this house and would definately be back again.

Superbe appartement très spacieux sur les hauteurs de Puerto Vallarta. La vue sur la mer et PV depuis la terrasse est également superbe. Mais il faut y arriver, car ça grimpe. L'appartement est très propre, bien équipé et la literie impeccable. Nous avons eu un problème de fuite d'eau un samedi soir. 1/4 heure plus tard, quelqu'un était là pour réparer. Cette réactivité est appréciable. D'une façon générale, quand nous avions une question la réponse était quasi immédiate. A 200m se trouvent plusieurs restaurants traditionnels et le supermarché est à 400m.

Lovely

We had an amazing time celebrating our 10th anniversary here. Place was very well stocked, and has tons of storage space. Paty and the owners delivered flowers for our special day, so thoughtful and appreciated. :)

A great stay in Puerto Vallarta

Everything that we needed for a comfortable stay was provided—including coffee, drinking water, and earplugs (the Rooster is still making his presence known) but it was perfect for my intergenerational family of 4. My 78 year old father-in-law managed the hill without resorting to taxis. Bring comfortable shoes and include the walk home in your exercise routine. With the hill comes an incredible view, seen from the dipping pool on the front balcony—perfect after a day in town! It was a great place to stay!
