Bienvenue à la maison Necanicum, située à Seaside, juste en face de la riviÚre Necanicum et juste en bas de la rue de la promenade du bord de mer! Cette belle maison à deux étages dispose de quatre chambres à coucher, de deux salles de bain et demi et est parfaite pour huit personnes! Entrez dans votre location de vacances à la mer et préparez-vous à vous détendre avec style et confort lors de votre prochaine visite sur la cÎte de l'Oregon.

Garez la voiture et dirigez-vous Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. Vous vous retrouverez dans le salon avec suffisamment de siĂšges pour tous les membres de votre groupe. Rassemblez-vous autour de la tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat situĂ©e au-dessus de la cheminĂ©e et regardez un film ensemble aprĂšs une longue journĂ©e sur la plage. Durant ces froides nuits d’hiver, n’hïżœïżœsitez pas Ă  vous rĂ©chauffer les pieds prĂšs du feu. SituĂ©e juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du salon, la cuisine offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour prĂ©parer quelques repas faits maison pendant votre sĂ©jour ou beaucoup d’espace pour organiser le repas Ă  emporter. La table de la cuisine peut accueillir quatre personnes, alors n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  vous rĂ©unir dans le salon pendant les repas. Il y a aussi beaucoup de restaurants Ă  vĂ©rifier lors de votre sĂ©jour au Necanicum House. Pig n 'Pancake, une pizzeria et un excellent steak ne sont que quelques endroits situĂ©s sur le Prom offrant une cuisine et un service de qualitĂ©.

À l'Ă©tage supĂ©rieur, vous trouverez une demi-salle de bain avec la chambre principale, dotĂ©e d'un lit queen-size et d'une salle de bain privĂ©e dotĂ©e d'un ensemble douche / baignoire. Vous trouverez Ă©galement les trois autres chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage ainsi que la salle de bain complĂšte finale. This worked for what we needed. Clean bathrooms, slept really well, and close to where we wanted to be. There’s no extras here or anything luxury. Could’ve used more dishwashing tabs ( 3 night stay and only supplied 2) and bed spreads looked dingy. Seemed expensive for what it was. Overall it was satisfactory.

This was a disappointing stay all around. The home is filthy. Walls were dirty. Carpet horrible condition, stains everywhere. The house smelled horrible. The bedding wasnt cleaned. Stove and oven were dirty. There were bugs and spiders everywhere. Bathrooms were gross, we had to unclogg the upstairs bathtub drain, the bathrooms had to be cleaned before we could even use them. We ended up buying a blow up mattress and bedding to sleep on in the living room because the rooms were so gross. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The home is in need of a complete renovation, deep cleaning and extermination. We immediately alerted VRBO about this expierence. We spent several thousand dollars to stay here! We expected a clean space to stay.

Needs some TLC

Easy check process and close to the beach. The house needs some TLC and a deep clean. The WiFi wasn’t working for us. There’s only 3 bedrooms and a space upstairs they put a 4th bed in but the mattress was horrible. There were spider webs everywhere and the top bunk bed wasn’t made and had candy wrappers in. They charge cleaning fee but required to load the dish washer, strip the beds and take all trash out. Makes you think what’s the fees for because they aren’t actually deep cleaning the house.

This was a good-sized home for a large group. That being said it needs some work. The mattresses, I am guessing, are quite old and quite uncomfortable. The cleaning staff has not done a good job on cleaning this rental. We found clothes in the dresser, a dirty towel hanging on the back of a door and other things as well. There also seems to be a spider problem and perhaps some bug prevention spray needs to happen on the exterior. I would not stay here again. I don't like it when people leave petty complaint reviews but this place needs work on furnishings and maintenance/care.

Decent place to stay. For the price I thought I was getting something nicer. Outdated and the backyard wasn’t anything special. One room didn’t have a door and the hallway bathroom sink was clogged. I also thought it was closer to the beach but I still had to drive since we wanted to take our canopy and toys.

Great location but the property needs work

The property location is great within a short 2 block walk to beach access. The cleanliness and maintenance at the house need attention. The kitchen counter had black stuff in the grout on the tile counter. Wasn't sure if it was stains or just dirty. The dishwasher door does not have enough room at the top to put your finger on the button to start the dishwasher. The pots and pans were not adequate for cooking, the bathroom window did not have any covering which would make for an uncomfortable shower experience. The sliding screen door was broken and unusable. The carpet on the stairs was very dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned. Maintenance issues were reported and a curtain was delivered for the window. There was not any spare toilet paper, paper towels or laundry pods and since we did not receive check in instructions in advance, we were unaware that we needed to provide all of these items. The property was hard to find from the street as you enter on a long unmarked driveway. Property management was responsive to our requests, but for the price of this rental, we did not feel the value was there. This property is great for the beach access but it was hard to cook in the kitchen due to inadequate cooking supplies. One of the reasons for renting a house is so that you have the kitchen and cooking options. The stove was stained and dirty on top, would benefit from a major deep clean and update.

Practically Perfect Necanicum House

The location is hidden, but easy to find. I could hear the ocean lulling me to sleep every night. Kitchen had everything we needed, walked to downtown and to the beach. Love this property and Seaside!

Adequate

This property was okay. It was in a nice neighborhood. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and main town. The hidden driveway was actually nice, since we didn’t have to worry about our toddler being near a main road while loading and unloading in the car. It was adequate for our needs since we spent most of our time outside/sightseeing. However, the place was not the cleanest. The downstairs had wood floor and tile that felt clean. But the area rug in the living room and carpet upstairs was stained and dirty. There were cobwebs in many corners of the rooms. After stripping the beds at the end of the stay, we noticed the pillows were yellowed/stained. The linens and towels did feel clean though. The kitchen had basic essentials but some of the pantry items were expired. Some of the pots and pans could be replaced as they were very worn and had loose handles. Around 10am, before checkout a woman (stated she was the housekeeper) pulled up saying we were supposed to be out at 10am and seemed irritated that we were still there. However, our checkout instructions and posted signage in the home stated checkout was before 11 am. Overall, for the price the property worked for us but there was definitely room for improvement.

Short Seaside trip

Easy to find, check in was easy, the place is dated, the living room (couch/rug) could use a cleaning, however the bedrooms/bathrooms were clean. Beds were all very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for our family plus the grandparents. Would stay here again. Very functional and lots of room for a family of four plus grandparents.

Worst experience ever

We were looking forward to our trip to Seaside, unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. First we didn’t receive the check-in information until 20 minutes after the check in time leaving us stranded. The carpets and couches were stained and cobwebs everywhere. The speaker to the tv was broken. There was white suspicious stains on the guest bedroom bedding, obviously it hadn’t been washed. The bunk bed top bed wasn’t made. The curtains were missing from bathrooms providing no privacy from neighbors. There was sand in the dishwasher and full of dishes. The grill was left in the garage dirty as hell and the propane was empty. The backyard fence is in need of serious repair. We have pictures if needed. It’s unfortunate that this rental company is letting a good house go to sh*t.

Close to everything

Property is well located and has all the basic amenities needed. Perfect for our infant and two year old. That being said it really needs a deep clean (couches, rugs, sink area) and the mattresses need to be replaced as well.

Review

Could use a bit more yard chairs for time outside (either out front or back). Also lots of cobwebs around the house (behind doors, corners and ect.) Loved the addition of fans in each room, lots of towels, decent kitchen setup for cooking onsite. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach, all as advertised. Couches are a bit lived in and could use an upgrade.mattresses as well are old and not very comfortable.

Good Location, a couple of short comings

Location is pretty close to everything, The beds are not comfortable second bedroom you can feel the springs in the mattress. Kitchen could use a couple more standard items, cookie sheets, griddle, better scrubber for dishes. Couches were stained and just didn't feel very clean. Also ran out of propane half way through grilling burgers. Also with multiple people staying, would have also been nice having more than one key for all of us.

Great Vacation House and Location

Spacious home that accommodated our family of six really well. Was super clean at check in. Great location - 5 minute walk to beach, 10 minute walk into town. It’s location down a drive way and behind another house gave a more private vibe than most rentals. Main downside was the Wi-Fi. Movies pausing every few seconds at times became frustrating. With 6 people and their devices plus the two smart TV’s, the router and/or internet speed needs to be majorly updated. Thankfully, our main occupation during our visit was the beach!
